Curses (iniquity/disease/defect/STDs) & evil spirits (fornication/adultery/rape) are involved in sin & sin repetition in family tree on both sides.  Thus one needs to repent for one's own sin, family sin, but also unrepented sin of ancestors, to prevent repetion & inheritance of family sins & diseases.  Not only can we inherit, allow or empower but also pass on trouble to our own descendants, unless we repent & remit evil & replace with blessings. Name them.  After we repent & invite Jesus' Spirit into our heart, God adopts us & becomes our Dad, allowing us to be reunited with our aborted child/children, at the end of our life on earth.

At this point, he was feeling desperate, realizing he had lost the ability to distinguish between physical desire & actual love" (so it may appear, BUT God may have had another destiny in mind, for which he was created.)
Sudduth, William - So Free - http://www.ramministry.org/index.html Chapter 6 Curses - 5 Sources - states that based on Deuteronomy 23:2 "descendants of a child born out of wedlock are cursed to the 10th generation" unless one repents for the sin of fornication/adultery, renounces such a curse, (& then replaces with God's blessing).
 (Thus we are dealing with the family tree on both sides.)

Deuteronomy 23 2 A bastard (child out of wedlock) shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah;
even his 10th generation shall not come into the congregation (synagogue) of Jehovah.
Exodus 20 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the 3rd & 4th generation of those who hate Me,
6 but showing love to 1,000 generations of those who love Me & keep My commandments.
Exodus 34 5 Then the Lord came down in the cloud & stood there with him & proclaimed His name, the Lord.
6 He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming,
“The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate & gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love & faithfulness,
7 maintaining love to thousands, & forgiving wickedness, rebellion & sin. Yet He does not leave the guilty unpunished;
He punishes the children & their children for the sin of the parents to the 3rd & 4th generation.”
 

1_corinthians/6-18.htm - 18.Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19.Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
 

Healings
 
The Trinity can heal/reverse/erase trauma to spirit/soul(emotions/mind/will-power)/body(DNA).  BEGIN with inviting the Trinity (Father God, son Jesus, Holy Spirit) to forgive you (& perpetrator) & then to indwell you (and your child). 
Thank Trinity.  Receive by faith NOT feelings.  Mark down date on calendar.
