School Curriculum
 
- "Some state laws are written to prevent parents even from opting their children out of the (public school) indoctrination...DeSanctis reported for National Review Online about the transition ceremony hosted by a kindergarten teacher at California’s Rocklin Academy Gateway to celebrate a gender-dysphoric boy donning the attire & appellation of a little girl.
As DeSanctis noted, the shocked & angry parents of the Rocklin pupils had not received advance notice of the lesson & learned of the events only when their confused children returned home...
California, like 21 other states & the District of Columbia, requires schools to notify parents of their sex-education curriculum.
The Golden State also joins 35 other states & D.C. in requiring schools to allow parents to opt their children out of sex education.
(3 other states require parents to opt in, that is, to express consent to their children’s participation in sex-education programs.)
But the California legislature specifically excluded gender identity from the state’s notice & opt-out requirements,
by providing in Section 51932(b) of the Education Code:
'This chapter does not apply to instructions, materials, presentations, or programming that discuss gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, relationships, or family & do not discuss human reproductive organs & their functions.'
So, contrary to the parents’ assumption that the local administrators of Rocklin Academy failed them & their children, the blame lies with the California legislature, which purposely exempted gender identity from both the notice & opt-out mandates of its sex-education provisions...
'What is so troubling is that, under California law, schools must provide notification & an opt-out before they discuss certain biological truths of human reproduction between males & females, but not when they teach the rejection of those biological truths'...
Colorado Comprehensive Health Education Act provides that local school boards & districts must provide written notification to parents of any 'comprehensive health education program' & allow parents to opt their students out of the curriculum.
But the statute defines 'comprehensive health education program' to mean 'a planned, sequential health program of learning experiences in preschool, kindergarten & grades 1-12'...
(Thus) a 'planned sequential health program of learning experiences.'
Instead (could be viewed/labeled/hidden/re-categorized) as anti-bullying education...
Nor will parents prevail in litigation should they turn instead to the courts and the Constitution.
Rather, as I explained in detail last week at the Federalist in Why the Most Realistic Solution to Schools’ Trans Indoctrination Is Withdrawing Your Kids, a claim that transgender school lessons infringe on free-exercise rights or violate constitutionally protected parental rights would fail...
However, for those unwilling or unable to abandon the public school system, 1 other option remains:
Lobbying state legislatures to extend (or create) notice & opt-out rights for issues related to gender identity.
Minnesota, New Hampshire, & Texas already provide parents a blanket opt-out right for all aspects of the school’s curriculum. Concerned parents should push their own state legislatures to follow suit, or at least guarantee the right of parents to opt their children out of lessons covering issues of gender & gender identity.
But time is of the essence, because kids grow up so fast & that process is already difficult enough as it is.
Schools shouldn’t be making it harder.

This affront to nature was typically not defined by penal codes, so American courts relied on well-established common-law meanings of sodomy that involved the penetration of a “penis inside the rectum of an animal, a woman or girl, or another man or a boy”(homosexuality) [3]...
In 1955 the American Law Institute voted to decriminalize consensual sodomy. 
The MPC subsequently did not include such laws in its statutory language. During the 1960s & 1970s, the United States Supreme Court established that, within the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment, there exists a right to privacy that prevents states from “interfer[ing] with people’s control of their own bodies, disrupt[ing] personal relationships, & intrud[ing] into the innermost sanctum of the home, the bedroom” [3]. From the foundation of this right, the Court struck down state laws that attempted to prohibit the use of contraceptives & intruded into marital privacy [13], limited access to contraceptives for unmarried people [14], & restricted a woman’s right to obtain an abortion [15].
Although these rulings did not touch existing sodomy laws, the ’60s & ’70s saw momentous action in decriminalization:
18 states decriminalized consensual sodomy consistent with the MPC."

Misnomer - Calling oneself or another "same sex couple/marriage" is often self-delusion as majority of couples take on "opposite sex role/playing/appearance/behavior", which contradicts the whole attempt/ideology of sameness or being different than the way one was born or created to biologically function.
