Bless You Lord, O my soul, & forget not all Your benefits: You forgive all our iniquities, heal all our diseases, redeem our life from destruction, crown us with loving kindness & tender mercies, satisfy our mouth with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle's. You Lord execute righteousness & justice for all who are oppressed. This passage gave me great encouragement because I realized that, though I was oppressed by the devil, the Lord was going to "execute justice" (v. 6) against my enemy. As I persisted in studying the Word, I developed an increased desire to be free from both the iniquity of depression & my dependency on drugs. I began to trust God to heal me. 1 revelation that helped me along the road to recovery was that my soul (or my flesh) which consisted of my mind, will & emotions, was at enmity with God (Rom. 8:7). In order for me to be completely whole, my soul had to come in line with God's will for me. Otherwise, I was fighting a losing battle: My mind was telling me I needed the Valium. My emotions were trying to convince me that without drugs I couldn't function. My will was at the mercy of my mind & emotions... The only way to stop this vicious cycle was to: 1.Renew my mind through the Word. As I did this, the mood swings became less frequent. When they did come they were not as intense or long-lasting. Also, my faith for healing increased. 2.Make Jesus Lord over my emotions. I began to encourage myself by quoting God's Word so that what I felt became subject to what I knew to be true. God's Word said that God would redeem my life from destruction. I believed it. 3.Set my will to come in line with God's will. God did not want me to be oppressed or to be dependent on drugs; He wanted me to be free from iniquity, healed of all disease & renewed like the eagle. I realized that if He was big enough to save me from sin, He was powerful enough to deliver me from iniquity. I determined to receive all He had for me... Deliverance in my case was a process of growing spiritually, but one day I knew I was free. I flushed all my tranquilizers down the toilet. Since that day 27 years ago, I have not taken a single dose of any mood-altering drug... Forgive everyone who has ever hurt or disappointed you. Otherwise, you will develop bitter roots that not only fill you with wrong thoughts but also affect your physical well-being. The Bible tells us that bitterness dries the bones. I'm not sure you've experienced that, but it's basically a swing of behaviors from extremely happy, joyful, fun, supportive to extremely sad or angry. In my case, it was extremely traumatizing. My mom would get so angry that she would actually wrestle me to the ground in anger. Later on, she explained that she would actually see red & couldn't even control this behavior. It was a completely chemical imbalance. She would then apologize & say, "I am so sorry. I love you, I love you, I love you." This was traumatizing for me. SID: But at age 8 something amazing happened to you. Explain. MICHELLE: I remember crying out in my little bedroom. I had this beautiful bedroom with a pretty canopy. I felt so safe there. I would pray, I cried out, "God, whoever you are, wherever you are, I just want to die." I can't believe an 8 year old would think that. I have a 6 year old. But it is just amazing they have the capacity to feel even that much pain. I felt, I heard the voice of God in my heart at that very moment. It was so awesome. He said, "Michelle Gold, you cannot die. I have a plan & a purpose for your life. You're going to sing & write songs, & your songs are going to bring healing to the world." SID: You know, Michelle's (bipolar) mother heard the truth & jumped at knowing the Messiah. This is eternal life that you might have experiential knowledge with the Messiah. You see, many church going Christians believe in the Messiah. But how many have experiential knowledge of the Messiah? Many Jewish people absolutely believe in God. But they've never had experiential knowledge. I know how you can have experiential knowledge. It starts by giving God access. You say a prayer & believe it to the best of your ability. The positive pole drove lithium into the body which showed up in the urine. He treated the hands of a gouty man with lithium salts. cause of ischemic colitis in a 27-year-old man.

"Ischemic colitis is a rare adverse effect of antipsychotic medications & is most commonly associated with the phenothiazine class of antipsychotics & atypical antipsychotics such as clozapine & olanzapine. The risk is further increased when antipsychotics are taken in conjunction with anti-cholinergics. A 27-year-old man with a history of bipolar disorder & depression presented to the emergency department with 6 days of constipation, abdominal pain, nausea, & nonbloody vomiting. He later developed multiple episodes of hematochezia & fever. Within the preceding 2 weeks, his medication regimen of divalproex sodium, aripiprazole, & trihexyphenidyl, had been changed to olanzapine, benztropine, & bupropion. The patient's physical examination showed diffuse abdominal tenderness, guarding, & distension & lab tests revealed a leukocytosis. A computed tomographic scan of the abdomen/pelvis showed colitis extending from the splenic flexure to the sigmoid colon, without evidence of perforation. A colon-oscopy revealed severe ischemic colitis involving the descending & sigmoid colon, which was confirmed on biopsy. Given the temporal association between the new medications & onset of symptoms, the patient's ischemic colitis was likely caused by olanzapine or the combination of olanzapine & benztropine, likely secondary to their anticholinergic properties. Thus, providers should take a thorough history & counsel patients regarding the risks of constipation when starting antipsychotic medications, particularly those with anticholinergic activity. Despite the fact that ischemic colitis is such a rare adverse effect of antipsychotic medications, it is important to consider because of its potentially fatal outcomes." |

In fact, the only 101% cure, with no remission, is God, from which the patient is often deliberately corralled away from, due to bias/political correctness, etc. Father God, in Jesus' name, may this deliberate deception/deceit be exposed/deposed/ reversed & replaced with Your NOW agenda/deliverance/healing/health/cure/truth. May Your accused/abused patients/victims now become today's heroes in this generation. We concur that in fact this is now true in the 3rd heaven. We pull it down into each patient's/victim's experiential reality, 1st with a revelation of Your love, 2nd of Your Son's blood atonement, 3rd of their empowerment via Holy Spirit's indwelling & 4th of heavenly host back up 24/7. |

The initial intervention in patients who experience rapid cycling is to identify & treat medical conditions, such as hypothyroidism or drug or alcohol use, that may contribute to cycling [I]. Certain medications, particularly antidepressants, may also contribute to cycling & should be tapered if possible [II]. The initial treatment for patients who experience rapid cycling should include lithium or valproate [I]; an alternative treatment is lamotrigine [I]. For many patients, combinations of medications are required [II]... ECT is a potential treatment for patients experiencing mixed episodes or for patients experiencing severe mania during pregnancy [II]." |

SID: Okay. Now you were raised in a pretty abusive situation. Your mom was bipolar, a lot of fighting going on. You had verbal abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse. MICHELLE: You know Sid, I grew up with a mother who was bipolar, manic-depressive. I'm not sure you've experienced that, but it's basically a swing of behaviors from extremely happy, joyful, fun, supportive to extremely sad or angry. In my case, it was extremely traumatizing. My mom would get so angry that she would actually wrestle me to the ground in anger. Later on, she explained that she would actually see red & couldn't even control this behavior. It was a completely chemical imbalance. She would then apologize & say, "I am so sorry. I love you, I love you, I love you." This was traumatizing for me. |

The drug Riluzole is "now used to treat the paralyzing disorder Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as ALS or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis...It boosts the abundance of a certain protein in rat brain cells... In some patients the symptoms virtually disappeared." "Studies in rats showed that lithium and another anti-mania drug hamper the effect of a particular enzyme in the brain. That suggested that other drugs that hamper that enzyme might work against mania too... The best (current) available candidate (is) tamoxifen, used to fight breast cancer. Sure enough, Manji’s recent study in a small group of bipolar patients found that tamoxifen quickly quelled mania... Tamoxifen itself (is a problem) because of concern about long-term side effects, since" it "requires a higher dose than women use to stave off breast cancer for years. |

"In 1954 I observed how nicotinic acid (flushing vitamin B3) relieved a severe case of post ECT amnesia in 1 month. Since then I have routinely given it in conjunction with ECT to markedly decrease the memory disturbance that may occur during & after this treatment. I would never give any patient ECT (especially) without the concomitant use of nicotinic acid. B3 is very helpful, especially in cardiovascular-induced forms of dementia, as it reverses sludging of the red blood cell & permits proper oxygenation of the cells of the body. For further information see Niacin Therapy in Psychiatry. [8]... (Regarding memory:) In September 1992, Mr. C., 76 years-old, requested help with his memory. He was terribly absent-minded. If he decided to do something, by the time he arrived where he wanted to do it he had forgotten what it was he wanted to do. His short-term memory was very poor & his long-term memory was beginning to be affected. I started him on a comprehensive vitamin program including (non-flushing vitamin B3) niacinamide 1.5 G daily. Within a month he began to improve. I added niacin to his program. By February 1993 he was normal. April 26, 1993, he told me he had been so well he had concluded he no longer needed any niacin & decreased the dose from 3.0 G to 1.5 G daily. He remained on the rest of the program. Soon he noted that his short term memory was failing him again. I advised him to stay on the full dose the rest of his life." (Whether/when increasing or decreasing dosage, remember to titer it SLOWLY.) |
