From that larva, millions of small hairlike parasites, very thin worms about an inch long when mature, develop. They make their home in your lymphatic system, feed on your blood, & travel through your blood stream while you are asleep. Your attacks of vertigo came when they laid siege to your inner ear. Your pain in the knee and lumbar muscle was, likewise, an attack. They work like beavers, building dams control the supply of blood to the calf of your leg. When they have done this, they build colonies below your knee causing swelling, and this state of filariasis is called elephantiasis. When you traveled to a colder climate...they ceased their damming work on your knees & went into hibernation....They not only cause elephantiasis, but because they leave residues within your lymphatic system, cancer usually follows... You will take Hetrazan, a poison with no known side effects, for 21 days, then stop for 3 months, & then take it again for 3 days or 4 days, then off for 3 months. That will be the cycle, 4 days of medicine, 3 months without, & this, perhaps, for the rest of your life....These little white ones are Hetrazan. This is the poison that kills the parasites. Take 1 every 3 or 4 hours, excepting your sleeping time...You will feel listless and out of sorts. Just stay in bed & rest.... I claimed the promise of Mark 15:18 'If they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them'... The Lord heard my prayers...The druggist gave me a prescription form wherein I noted that the drug was to be given according to weight. According to my calculations, I was taking only a half dosage... (The usual drug for a Ceylonese & their average weight was about half mine), so I increased the dosage by 2." Another name for the disease can be Proteus Syndrome, which causes an overgrowth of bone and other tissue... It can be a thyroid disease due to lack of iodine (salt) It really isn't that rare. It is very common in 3rd world countries. |

named it proteus syndrome,
for the Greek God Proteus “the polymorphous” presumably because of the
variable manifestation in the 4
unrelated boys 1st identified with the syndrome... The syndrome became widely known when it was determined that Joseph Merrick(the patient depicted in the play & movie "The Elephant Man") had severe Proteus syndrome rather than neurofibromatosis as was initially suggested. |
