(Spiritual Principle = As it takes 9 months to grow a baby after conception, so does it often take time for your answer or healing to manifest itself. Believe that God is working on your behalf as He and His staff battle out in the unseen realm on your behalf.)
(Insight = Daniel was shown in a vision that his prayer was being answered, but not a quickly as Daniel wanted, because God had to first fend off the evil spirits in the 1st heaven of our atmosphere. The 3rd heaven is where the throne of God resides.)

Matthew 12:29 KJV "How else can one enter into a STRONG MAN's house and spoil his goods, except he 1st bind the STRONG MAN? Then he will spoil his house." [Spiritual insight = Spoiling means to reverse whatever problems the enemy (inhabiting/opressing demons) have caused.]

The pastors told him that visions are from hell. Instead, Branham's visions were from God. The pastors, believed that signs and wonders, such as tongues and visions, disappeared with the apostles. The angel explained that the above scripture applies today. God showed visions to Jesus, Daniel AND Branham. Branham's visions had a scriptural example.

A believer in Jesus Christ can deliver himself from demons, once he has received the initial ministry of deliverance. This is basically relapse prevention.
If we have been given the tools (like a carpenter), then we need to use them. Our tool bag would be the baptism in the holy spirit. The Holy Spirit will give us insight and help us identify spirits to loose ourselves of = the past, ungodly soul ties, memory recall of past hurts, torment, infirmity, rejection, rejection from the womb, self-rejection, fear of rejection, etc. We can also enlist warrior angels to come to our assistance.

Hammond contends that the binding of Satan and his terrorist helpers [in the 1st heaven (earth's atmosphere) and 2nd heaven (outer space - before/outside God's home in the 3rd heaven)] was done by Jesus Christ at His birth/death/resurrection, as both Jesus and His disciples did deliverances while He was alive. Jesus defeated Satan and has passed us the rope/ability/power to continue to bind demons in each generation by His blood and in His name.
Hammond contends that we loose the victims and not the angels. It is God's job to send angels, not our job. We loose the victims from the chains of demonic strongholds.

Binding the Strong Man - The Spiritual Principle How can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house. Spoiling the Strong Man "The strong man is Satan or anyone (devil/demon/beliefs that contradict Scripture) to whom Satan has delegated authority...The believer must know his authority (delegated by Christ); otherwise, he will never be able to enter into spiritual warfare (and win)." When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his (stolen/captured) goods are in peace. Luke 11:21 KJV
Bind the Strong Man "Binding is not an end in itself; it is a means to an end. The goal is to spoil the devil's house (the captured territory or kingdom of darkness inside anyone who is oppressed/possessed), and in order to accomplish this the strong man (root issue/initial cause/inherited disease/deception/lie/demon) must first be bound...Binding is important to the deliverance of an individual (family/church/city/nation) from tormenting, defiling, oppressing and hindering spirits...One must first bind the strong man and then spoil his house."
There is a principality, "a strong man of intimidation...a giant of a person" with "the head of a pig with large tusks." We can bind that creature and tell it to permanently leave - in the name of Jesus Christ.
1st Samuel 17:45-47 I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me and I'll strike you down and cut off your head...The Lord saves, for the battle is the Lord's and He will give all of you into our hands.
We wear the helmet of salvation, which protects our brain, mind, and thoughts from the enemy.
"Binding and loosing in the heavens does NOT refer to something God does for us, but to OUR doing what God has given US authority to do." Frank tells believers to1st take authority over the strongman/principality/power in the heavenlies, who also controls the situation on the earth. Then we are to loose Satan's captives. There are demonic ruler spirits over churches, geo-political areas, ethnic groups, denominations, geographical territories, and nations. In 1982 "the Lord revealed to me the strong spirits over the Yukon Territory. The ruler spirit was called 'Wilderness.' The standard seems to be that ALL ministry should be preceded, often daily, by binding/loosing, not only for individuals, but also for locations.

Section Learning to Pray Right Prayers shares that for spiritual attack one can pray and loose all strongholds and wrong agreements from self to close any door one might have opened. For soulish (mind/body/flesh) weakness, one can repent and release an offense plus loose all soulish reactions until one feels all doors are closed. Often we react negatively to others, causing wrong patterns of thought, which we may justify and rationalize instead of rejecting.   Such discontent (self-justification) offends the Holy Spirit.   Give no curse/disease/problem opportunity to land on you due to discontent.
