3 Baruch 10:1-8  Oxford Press - the 4th Heaven    1When I had learnt all these things from the archangel, he took and let me into a 4th heaven.  I saw a monotonous plain, and in the middle of it a pool of water.  There were in it multitudes of birds of all kinds, but not like those here on earth.  I saw a crane as great as 4great oxen; and all the birds were great beyond those in the world.  I asked the angel, "What 5is the plain and what the pool, and what the multitudes of birds around it?"  The angel said, "Listen Baruch, "The plain which contains in it the pool and other wonders is the place where the 6souls of the righteous come, when they hold converse, living together in choirs.  But the water is 7that which the clouds receive, and rain upon the earth, and the fruits increase."  I said again to the angel of the Lord, "But (what) are these birds?"  He said to me, "They are those which 8continually sing praise to the Lord." 

Old Testament

GENESIS 3:1   NIV    The serpent (snake) was more crafty than any of the wild (field/countryside) animals the Lord God had made.  He said (spoke) to the woman, "Did god really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden?'" (Spiritual insight = Scripture clarifies that the words spoken are Satan's thoughts/ideas.)
GENESIS 3:5 TNJB  The snake (contradicted God's spoken instruction and) said to the woman, "NO! You will NOT die!  God knows in fact that the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods, knowing good from evil."  (We are NOT to marvel that a viper spoke or that a woman understood it.  Instead we are to marvel that she obeyed/responded/listened to it rather than God! 
Remember, there is a physical death + a spiritual death of being absent from the Trinity.)

NUMBERS 2:28-31 KJV    The Lord opened the mouth of the ass (donkey/mule).  She said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have smitten me these 3 times?"  Balaam said to the ass, "I wish there were a sword in my hand.  I would now kill you, because you have mocked me."  The ass said to Balaam, "  Am not I you ass, upon which you have ridden ever since I was yours to this day?  Did I ever do this to you?"  He said, "No." Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam.  He saw the angel of the Lord standing in his way with a sword drawn in his hand.

1st KINGS 17:4 NIV   "I have ordered the ravens to feed you there."

2nd PETER 2:15-16 KJVer    Balam, son of Bosor who loves wages of unrighteousness, was rebuked for his iniquity.  The dumb ass (donkey) speaking with a man's voice forbade the madness of the prophet.

JONAH 1:17 NIV    The Lord provided a great fish to swallow Jonah.  Jonah was inside the fish 3 days and 3 nights.
JONAH 2:10 NIV    The Lord commanded the fish and it vomited Jonah onto the land.

REVELATION 6:1-12 KJV    1.I (John) saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals.  I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the 4 beasts saying "Come and see."  2.Behold, I saw a white horse and him who sat on him had a bow.  A crown was given to him.   He went forth conquering and to conquer.  3.When He had opened the 2nd seal, I heard the 2nd beast say, "Come and see."  4.There went out another horse that was red.  Power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another.  There was given to him a great sword.  5.When He had opened the  3rd seal, I heard the 3rd beast say, "Come and see."  I beheld and lo a black horse and him that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6.I heard a voice in the midst of the 4 beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a penny and 3 measures of barley for a penny.  See that you hurt not the oil and wine."  7.When He has opened the 4th seal, I heard the voice of the 4th beast say, "Come and see."  8.I looked.  Behold a pale horse.  His name that sat on him was Death.  Hell followed him.  Power was given to them over a 4th part of the earth, to kill with sword, hunger, death, and beasts of the earth.  9.When He had opened the 5th seal, I saw under the  altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God for the testimony which they held.  10.They cried with a loud voice saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on earth?" (See Zechariah 1:12)  11.White robes were given to every one of them.  It was said to them that they should rest for a little season, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.  12.I beheld when He had opened the 6th seal.  Lo, there was a great earthquake.  The sun  became black as a sackcloth of hair.  The moon became as blood.

Liardon in chapter 5 William J Seymour, The Catalyst of Pentecost notes that the Azusa Street Mission "seekers made a demand on the Word's authority.  If insects tried to destroy someone's crops, believers at Azusa marched out to the field and declared the Word of God over their  crops and the insects.  In every recorded account, the insects stayed where they were and didn't cross field borders.  If they were destroying a neighbor's crops, they remained about twenty yards away from the believer's crops."

Book 2 Chapter 28 - A river monster had killed one individual as was headed to do likewise to another, when Columba invoked "the name of God, formed the saving sign of the cross in the air, and commanded the ferocious monster, saying, 'Thou shalt go no further, nor touch the man;  go back with all speed.'  Then at the voice of the saint, the monster was terrified and fled."  All witnesses "gave glory to God in the blessed man."  They magnified "the God of the Christians."
Book 2 Chapter 29 - Columba raised "both his holy hands...blessed the whole" Iouan island (Hy, now Iona) "saying, 'From this very moment poisonous reptiles (serpents) shall in no way be able to hurt men or cattle in this island, so long as the inhabitants shall continue to observe the commandments of Christ.'"

"In that quiet time I heard my dogs voice loud and crystal clear wherever we went - the Lord let Osgood,  talk out loud to me about everything. And to this day although I do not hear him constantly or  as clearly as I did  that summer, I still am able to hear him talking to me. 
That first summer though I was able to have conversations with all kinds of animals - ducks, birds, cows, horses(!), squirrels, it was like I was in tune with nature all of the time. 
I truly believe that in heaven we will have open communication with all animals
all the time.

"You know Kathie, the Lord has gifted me to hear the voices of animals as well, and it first happened the day that I got saved on May 15th 2005.
I loved my Labrador dog, Osgood, and  I Wanted him to experience the good feelings of love and joy I felt when I was high on drugs. So I gave my dog Amphetamines.  I did not want him to get hurt by the amphetamines in any way, so I prayed in faith that he would be OK- and just enjoy getting high.
This was the first time I prayed in faith for anything.
Well needless to say the next 8 hours of his life he was the most vibrant and wired dog that I have ever known, and after a long walk and a good talk with him I went to bed. The strangest thing happened though is that for the first time in my life I heard him talking to me as I went to sleep! 
Like I didn't even have to strain my ears, my “speeded”  up puppy dog was carrying on a conversation with me like normal day about every subject imaginable.
And guess what he told me!!! He told me how real God was. The wind just about knocked my house down at that point and my dog notified me that the wind was from God.
The Lord used this act of kindness of me wanting my dog to feel the love and joy that I felt on drugs,  to bring me to Himself - sort of an  unconventional way of course, but from that night forward I knew that there was a God and was scared to death of what He could do, that I was instantly converted.
For the next few months over the summer of 2005 I got totally sanctified, quit doing all drugs, even shut off my TV and computer, quit listening to all music or reading anything that was not about God.
