Healing Dance
Scripture
Psalm 18:29,33-34,37-39,42,50 KJV
29By You I have run through a troop; by my God I have
leapt over a wall...33He makes my feet like hind's feet
and sets me upon my high places. 34He teaches my
hands to war, so that a bow of steel (bronze) is
broken by my arms...37I have pursued my enemies and
overtaken them; neither did I turn again until they were consumed.
38I have wounded them that they
were not able to rise; they are fallen under my feet.
39ForYou have girded
(equipped/armed) me with strength to the battle; You have
subdued under me those who rose up against me...42Then
did did I beat them small as the dust before the wind; I did cast them out
as the dirt in the streets...
50Great
deliverance He gives to His king and shows mercy to His anointed, to David
and to his seed (descendants) forevermore.
Psalm 149:3,7-8 KJV 3Let them praise His name in the
dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp...7To
execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people; 8to
bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron.
Romans 6:13 KJV Neither yield your
members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin; but
yield yourselves unto
God, as those who are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments
of
righteousness unto God.
Romans 16:20 The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet
shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Chapter 14 Show God You Trust Him section Make Yourself Dance
"The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:1)...
When he (Satan) tries to give me a sad day, I say, 'NO, you don't, in Jesus
name. I don't accept this and I bind you. You foul spirit of
sadness, go from me'...Then...I'll dance before the Lord for 2 or 3 minutes.
Do I FEEL like dancing? NO! I FEEL like crying. You have to
MAKE yourself dance before God. You don't go by FEELINGS, 'for we walk by
faith, not by sight' 2nd Corinthians 5:7.
David danced before the Lord with all his might. (2nd Samuel 6:14).
Make yourself dance...Then hold up your hands, walk around, and worship
God...and bless the name of Jesus by saying, 'I praise You, Jesus.
I love You, Lord. I praise You, Jesus.'"

Chapter 3 shares, "I knew I was under heavy attack from the enemy. I
forced myself to get out of bed. I put on some praise music and
began to dance before the Lord. It was a hard thing to do. Little by
little, I started feeling the presence of the spiritual force of joy entering my
body. I started getting so excited about God that my praise turned into
worship-. As I worshiped God, the symptoms left and I experienced divine
healing."
Chapter 4 Types and Purposes of Dance in the Church are (1) praise (2)
worship (3) warfare (4) celebration (5) travail (6) prophetic (7) triumph
(8) evangelistic (9) preparation of hearts to hear and receive the Word of God, plus
others.
"My husband and I were separated for 15 months and the Lord had me dance at
home to do warfare on his behalf. Sometimes dancing was the last thing on
earth I wanted to do, but that is when I knew I needed to do it the most,
because I could feel the oppression around our family. Now my husband is
back."
In addition to warfare dance, there is the dance of travail. "The dance
of travail is a dance of faith where we thank God for the answer to our
prayer before the answer is visible. In this dance, we proclaim to
the principalities of darkness that our God is able to do above and beyond what
we ask of Him...One can travail through prayer by speaking the Word and praying
in the Spirit. I have found, however, that travailing in the dance is more
joyful and less wearisome...Something happens in the spirit realm when we move.
'Let them praise His name in the dance...to bind...(Psalm 149:3,8)'"

Chapter 3 There's Got to Be More "We have free
entry into God's presence through the blood of Jesus. We just aren't
entering in...During our dancing sessions...we (almost) never consummate the process
(and transition from His anointing into His glory).
The Purpose of the anointing is to help us make the transition from flesh
into glory. One reason we like to linger in the anointing is that
it makes the flesh feel good.
On the other hand, when the glory of God comes, the flesh doesn't feel very
comfortable...(Our flesh becomes intimidated and out of control.)
Our flesh is so weakened by His presence that it is unnecessary
for man to (dance or to) do anything other than behold Him
in His glory.
Chapter 4 Dead Men See His Face "The Potter of your soul is
simply trying to 'soften' you. He wants to bring you to such a place of
tenderness that it doesn't take a hurricane-force wind from Heaven for you to
even know that He is present. He wants you to be so tender that the
gentlest breeze from Heaven, the smallest zephyr from His presence, will set
your heart a-dancing."

Shoes and Bare Feet "In this quiet moment of
My love, remove your shoes. With your feet bare before Me, begin to
dance. Dance with Me, little one. Before the time to
return to your shoes, dance in My love. Truly I shall be dancing
with you."
