When does a healing occur?

Obviously any healing occurred 2,000 years ago when Jesus Christ bore our diseases in His body on the cross and then rose again on the 3rd day, healed.  All we need to do is to believe that, ask God for that, and then to receive that, like any gift.  A gift is free.  It costs the giver, not the recipient.  We do NOT have to be pre-qualified to receive either salvation or healing.  We do need to BELIEVE and we do need to CLAIM.

When does that healing show up in our bodies?  For each of us it may be different.  Doug Jones in Positioning Yourself to Receive Healing  www.doubjonesministries.org  says that there may be a time lag between the asking and the receiving.  Remember the story of the lepers who went their way to show themselves to the priest?  It was on the way to the synagogue that the lepers were healed.  They had been prayed over by Jesus and had left His presence.  One came back to Jesus to thank Him.  Yes, there was a time gap.  So many of us loose heart when we do not see an instantaneous miracle in the healing line.  We pay attention to our negative thoughts, disappointments, unfulfilled expectations. We deflate like a balloon, instead of paying attention to the words of scripture and believing without seeing.  We base our faith and prayers in what we see or feel (disappointment/sorrow) instead of basing our faith in the Word of God. 

Satan is a robber and stealer.  What does he steal and rob from a born again, Holy Spirit filled and Holy Spirit baptized believer in the Messiah Jesus Christ?  Health!  Why?  Often, because of our mind set.  We believe and look for scientific evidence.  We go to 20 healing pastors, each more holy than the former.  We claim and name our healing.  We agree with scripture.  We agree with God.  We do NOT agree with the doctors, nurses and Satan's ideas.  THEN we look for the scientific evidence, the manifestation of the disease to be gone, the symptoms to be gone.  When they are NOT gone, we decide that we do not yet have what we said that we had.  We become liars.  What has gone wrong?  In addition to not discerning inherited iniquity DELIVERANCE from INIQUITY and dealing with it, one major reason for Christians to let go of their healing is due to reliance on scientific evidence/sight/feelings/doctors' reports, etc, instead of relying on what God says.  God says that we are/were healed at the cross 2,000 years ago.  Is He a liar?  NO!
The evidence is that we do NOT really trust His words.  Rather, we trust what is visible.  Father, in Jesus name, we apologize, repent, and ask Your Holy Spirit to help us trust You only and nothing else.  Amen.

                    Scripture says that a double minded man might not receive what he asks for.  Always pray with expectancy.

James 1:2-8 KJV    Count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations.  The trying of your faith works patience.  Let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, Who gives to all men liberally and scolds not.  It shall be given him.  Let him ask in faith, not wavering.  He that wavers is like a wave of the sea  driven with the wind and tossed.  Let not that man think he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

The 10 Lepers

Luke 17:11-14    Now on His way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.  As He was going into a village, 10 men who had leprosy met Him.  They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, :"Jesus, Master, have pity on us!"  When He saw them, He said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests."  As they went, they were healed. 
(Spiritual insight = They experienced the cure after the healing service and after they obeyed.)                                  
Luke 17:15-19    One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.  He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked Him - and he was a Samaritan.  Jesus asked, "Were not all 10 cleansed?  Where are the other 9?  Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"  Then He said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well." 
(Spiritual insight = We need to Believe before we can Receive)
Luke 18:1    Jesus told His disciples...that they should always pray and not give up.

Doug Jones in Understanding the Healing Power of God www.dougjonesministries.org explains there are often 2 steps to receiving a healing.  1 - knowledge that the healing of power of God is transmitted to us with the laying on of hands.  2 - our continual affirmation that God's healing power is still present and performing in our body, after the fact, whether 2 minutes or 2 months after being prayed over.  Doug contends that we turn on the switch to healing by verbally acknowledging the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our bodies and by verbally thanking Him for that work in our bodies.  Any time we contradict what God has done, we turn off the Holy Spirit power; we short circuit the Holy spirit power.  If we have a check in our hand from God, but never endorse the back of the check, then we cannot spend the money.  If we have a check in our hand from God, but say that we - do not deserve it, did not earn it, did not really legally receive it, expect it to bounce, or think God meant for it be used by apostles, poor missionaries, holy saints, and spiritually superior men, then the check is as dead and useless as a fish out of water.  In fact a fish out of water smells.  Our attitude smells to God when we refuse to accept and cling to His healing.  Often our disease will cling to us until we finally learn to trust literally what God says in scripture and not trust the illness we see with our eyes and not trust the doctors' negative predictions we hear with our ears.  Often in  those twilight hours between having and not having a disease, both the devil and God may be testing our resolve for us to BELIEVE what Jesus said on the cross,"It is finished!"

Doug Jones divides his book into 8 spiritual healing laws, and reminds us that even electricity has laws, rules to access it.  #1 Any power that is present does not guarantee our access to it.  #2 Any power can be present without our being aware of it.  #3 In order to benefit from any power, it is best to BELIEVE in that power.  #4 Power is made present in more than 1 way (present in Scripture and present in the Holy Spirit as He manifests Himself).  #5 Power can be administered in more than 1 way (application of handkerchief or aprons, speaking Scripture, naming the Name of Jesus, prayerfully anointing with oil, praying for self or others, laying on of hands). #6 When power is administered, we may or may not notice. 
#7 Power can be inactive or dormant in us.
#8 Once power has been obtained, do not turn the switch off (continue to believe, confess, claim, praise & thank). 

Obviously, it is seldom possible for a non-Christian to believe that God heals now in this generation.  For most it is much easier to hold on to faith in being healed, after they have received Jesus as their forgiver of sins and and Lord of their lives, after the Holy Spirit comes to comfort and help them.

Be reminded of the story of the angel who had to fight the demons in order to answer Daniel's prayers.  Time is again the gap between request and answer.
Daniel 10: 11-13,19    "You who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you...Do not be afraid, Daniel.  Since the 1st day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I (the angel of God) have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me 21 days.  Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia..."Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed," he said.  "Peace.  Be strong now; be strong." 
(Spiritual Principle = As it takes 9 months to grow a baby after conception, so does it often take time for your answer or healing to manifest itself.  Believe that God is working on your behalf as He and His staff battle out in the unseen realm on your behalf.)

The SCRIPTURE below shows us that immediately when we pray God's scripture
(1)    that the root of the problem is eliminated
(2)    that we may not see with our eyes the result until a later day.

Mark 5:36    Do not be afraid; only believe.
Mark 11:13-14 KJV    Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves...He came to it. He found nothing but leaves, for the time of figs was not yet.  Jesus...said to it, " (May) no man eat fruit of you...forever."
...His disciples heard it (Jesus speaking to the tree.).
Mark 11:20-26 KJV    In the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.  Peter ...said to Him, "Master, behold, the fig tree which You cursed is withered away.  Jesus answered..., "Have faith in God. Verily I say to you, that whoever shall say to this mountain, 'Be removed and cast into the sea' (and shall NOT doubt in his heart, but shall BELIEVE that those things which he says shall come to pass), shall have whatever he says."  I say to you, "What things you desire, when you pray, BELIEVE that you (already) receive them, and you shall have them.  When you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any, that your Father, Who is in heaven, may forgive you your trespasses.  If you do not forgive, neither will your Father, Who is in heaven, forgive your trespasses."

Bill Johnson (pastor of Bethel Church, Redding, California, USA) admonishes us to discontinue the repetitive petitioning and to begin the pro-claiming.  True prophecy is speaking God's word in advance of the manifestation.  God spoke FIRST.  The world and its inhabitants came AFTER God spoke. This is a spiritual example/protocol/law.  We need to speak every good thing into existence.  This is the way God operates in the spiritual realm.  We speak.  God then performs.  As long as we wait on God to answer our pleading/begging/weeping, little will happen; but when we take the authority God has given us, then miracles will begin to rain down on us from heaven.  Remember, both our healing and our salvation occurred 2,000 years ago!  Jesus did all the work yesterday!  Now it is up to us, His children, to claim our inheritance.  www.billjohnsonministries.com

Many of us hit our head on the glass ceiling of the 1st heaven and can go no further.  Bill Johnson says that we can go higher in layers, like that of an onion, one layer at a time.  Actually, we are already near the core, for many prior generations have provided the spiritual foundations on which we now stand.

Joyce Meyer warns us that there are 2 types of addictions, the physical like alcohol, cigarettes and drugs, and the mental/intellectual  reasoning.  If we need to be in control, to know all the answers, to be scientifically correct, then there is no room for the Holy Spirit to maneuver.  The Holy Spirit provides discernment to the spirit and not necessarily to the mind.  Spiritual insight, wisdom, guidance is something that God provides and something that we cannot learn in a book or learn from experience.  It is a gift of God.  We do NOT need to know the answers, but we do need to KNOW the ONE who knows. If we NEED to wait to get or learn all there is to know, before we decide, act, or believe, then we may go to the grave still searching.    www.jmministries.org

If we have fulfilled every legal requirement for healing/deliverance and are blameless in God's eyes, then consider the skirmish between Satan and God over Job's needs/requests.  Satan was somewhat like a toddler/teenager who tests the limits, to see if the parent will blink/back off and give in to the harassment/ badgering of the underling.  Especially if we have been addicted/bound/ill/tormented for a long time, then we (often without thinking) tend to relapse into negative old/easy cop outs/patterns/moldy rotten security blankets after we have told them, "NO!".  If we do not immediately repent, the enemy may have a foot in our life, a legal loophole, with which to prevent or to slow down our total recovery.  Satan will try extra hard to harass us in areas where we have been vulnerable in the past.  Why not?  Why not one more cookie/drink/cigarette/chocolate/fix/look/touch/gossip/lie/hour in bed/weeping?  No, No, No! 
We need to have the Holy Spirit baptism, in addition to the original baptism of water for the forgiveness of sins.  It is the Holy Spirit Who will both warn and protect us.  We will not recognize His voice without fellowshipping with Him daily in prayer, Bible reading, church attendance, fellowship with other Christians, for beginners.  Like AAA, it is profitable to have at least one prayer partner.

Job 1:1 NKJV    There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job.  That man was blameless, upright, and one who feared God.
Job 1:6-12 NKJV    6There was a day when the sons of God (angels) came to present themselves before the Lord; Satan also came among them.  7The Lord said to Satan, "From where do you come?"  Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and from on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it."  8The Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who rears God and shuns evil?"  9Satan answered the Lord and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing?  10Have You not made a hedge around hi around his household an around all that he has on every side?  You have blessed the work of hi hands; his possessions have increased in the land.  11But now, stretch out You hand and   touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face!"  12The Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person." 
Job 1:20-22 NKJV    20Then (after Satan had killed Job's children, servants, and sheep) Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell to the ground and worshiped.  21He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there.  The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord."
Job 2:1-10 NKJV    1Again there was a day when the sons of God (angels) came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord. 2The Lord said to Satan, "From where do you come?"  Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it."  3Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is non like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?  Still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to (allow you to) destroy him without cause."  4Satan answered the Lord and said, "Skin for skin!  Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.  5Stretch out Your hand now. (Remove Your hedge and allow me to) touch his bond and his flesh and he will surely curse You to Your face!"  6The Lord said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life."  7Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.  8He took for himself a potsherd with which to scrape himself while he sat in the midst of the ashes.  9Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast to your integrity?  Curse God and die!"  10But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks.  Shall we indeed accept good from God; shall we not accept adversity?"  In all this Job did not sin with his lips. (Spiritual insight = Again it is the wife who attempts to foil/sabotage the husband; remember Eve!  Is the woman an achille's heel for Satin to use against man?)
Job 42:10-17 NKJV    10The Lord restored Job's Losses when he prayed for his friends (who had given him evil/bad/wrong counsel).  Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before...12Now the Lord blessed the latter days of job more than his beginning...13He also had 7 sons and 3 daughters...16After this Job live 140 years and saw his children and grandchildren for 4 generations; 17so Job died, old and full of days.

Even the 12 disciples did not always get it right the first time.  Before their baptism in the Holy Spirit, it is recorded in scripture that they failed, at least once, during their healing/deliverance ministry.
Matthew 17:14-16 KJV    There came to Him a certain man, kneeling down to Him, saying, "Lord have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and sore vexed.  Often He falls into the fire and into the water.  I brought him to Your disciples and they could NOT cure him."
Matthew 17:17 KJVer    Jesus answered and said, "O faithless (unbelieving) and perverse (perverted) generation, how long shall I be with you?  How long shall I endure you?  Bring him here to Me."
Matthew 17:18 KJV   Jesus rebuked the devil, who departed out of him.  The child was cured that very hour (moment).
Matthew 17:20-21 KJV    20("Because of your  little faith,) I (Jesus) say to you , "If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Remove here to yonder place'; and it shall remove.  Nothing shall be impossible to you.  21However this kind does not go out, except by prayer and FASTING."
(Spiritual insight = Verse 21 was not in earliest manuscripts, per TPNT.   Ndifon www.christlove.org contends that fasting is mainly to hear God better, rather than for power; whereas Chavda www.watchofthelord.com  fasts frequently for power.)

Finally remember, that the above happened before Christ came and provided for healing/deliverance with His stripes on the cross and for the removal of sin with His blood on the cross, executed by His resurrection and reinforced with the baptism of His Holy Spirit resurrection power.  That means that unless the Trinity has specifically ordained a problem to remain (like Paul's thorn in the flesh or Christ's/ the apostles' crucifixion), then we have His spiritual authority to remove all hindrances - NOW.

2nd Corinthians 4:7,10-11 TPNT    7We have this treasure in clay vessels, so that the extraordinary character of the power would be of God and not out from us...10always carrying around the death of Jesus in the body, so that indeed the life of Jesus would be revealed (manifested) in our body.  11For we, the living, are always given over into death for the sake of Jesus, so that also the life of Jesus would be revealed (manifested) in our mortal flesh.

Galations 6:9 KJV    In due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

1st John 3:8 KJVer    He who commits sin is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. 
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus ascended up into the 3rd heaven and sat down at the right side of his Dad.
Just before He did that, he gave His staff (disciples/followers/believers) instructions to do His work.
Mark 16:15 NIV    He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.  These signs will accompany those who believe.  In My name they will drive out demons.  They will speak in new tongues.  They will pick up snakes with their hands.  When they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all.  They will place their hands on sick people, and they (the sick) will get well."
Obviously, Jesus said that we (and NOT He) would be the visible worker.  We are NOT to wait on Him.  Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished."  His work on earth is done.  Now it is a partnership of you and the Holy Spirit.  We need to quit asking, praying, begging, weeping.  Now is the appointed hour for us (NOT Him) to act.  The work is NOT getting done because, we are not doing it.  Healing is not getting done, because we are waiting on Him.  Meanwhile, He is waiting on us.  Deliverance is not getting done, because we are waiting on God or just one more powerful pastor around the corner.
Are we born again?  Are we baptized in the Holy Spirit?  Have we prayed?  Have we fasted?
Having done all that we know to do, we need to obey the words of Jesus.  If we have obeyed (even though we were afraid), then and only then, do we need to wonder if a piece of the puzzle is still missing.

Chapter 8 Instances of Healing notes that
"God does the giving and we do the taking.  What we do not take we do not get."

 God has His second choice for those who will not have His best."
"If you are now ailing and suffering, look up.  Count the healing done, and it shall be done.  Hallelujah!  It shall be done 'according to your faith.'  It is not according to how long you have had the trouble or how it has baffled all efforts to solve it.  It is according to your faith.'  So look up in faith and count it done now."  If you are in too much agony call upon the Lord to enlist another to pray for you.
Bevington states, "Some that I pray for get through (in their search for salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit or healing), but not all.  Not all those I start in to pray healing for do actually get healed.  God usually shows me whether He wants to heal them or not, and often it takes days to find that out."

Visions were the most frequent way the Lord communicated to Branham.  Seldom did Branham act until he had seen it first in a vision.  In scripture Jesus says that He only does what He sees His father doing.

The Prophet and His Revelation (1960-1965) Branham sees America destroyed in a vision.

Branham contended that faith kills disease, but that unbelief resurrects it, and that disease such as insanity or cancer was the result of demonic activity.

Autobiography.  Brown shares that sometimes God has the person ministering to experience the physical suffering of the person for whom he/she is praying.  For one thing, this allows the person praying/ministering to ask if there is a problem in that area.

Chapter 1 Incubation - a Law of Faith shares the message above again.  We do NOT give God a vague request; rather we visualize and order, as from a store catalogue, in detail/specifically what we desire.  We pray until we have the substance/assurance/peace; then we proclaim our invisible acquisition, as would a pregnant woman.  One woman even ordered her husband this way, successfully!
Chapter 4 Rhema shares that, "Rhema is given to that specific person who is waiting upon the Lord until the Holy Spirit quickens logos (the written Word) into rhema (the Word spoken/quickened into your heart by the Holy Spirit).  If you never have time to wait upon the Lord, then the Lord can never come and quicken the needed scripture to your heart."  It is the rhema word of God that produces healing, rather than the logos word of God, which we memorize and quote, and often come away empty handed/still ill.  If we take extra time to wait on the Lord (rather than hit and run, like going through a fast food restaurant), then, "The Holy Spirit can take Scripture, the 'said Word' of God, and apply it to a person's heart, making it the 'saying Word' of God.  The logos then becomes the rhema."  The saying aloud of Scripture is our part, but the quickening of the Holy Spirit and the healing is God's part.  It takes time alone with Him to incubate/ gestate the logos (written/spoken Word of God), birth/hatch the rhema (alive Word of God), and manifest one's healing.  "All the promises (of God in Scripture) are potentially (not literally) yours."  Even though Jesus provided them for us 2,000 years ago, the Holy Spirit needs to quicken those dead words and birth them in our individual lives in each generation.  When a man and woman conceive a child, the Holy Spirit needs to make that fetus alive in the womb, otherwise the child would be born dead.  Our faith needs to take wings.  It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that the Word of God can take wings.

Chapter 41 Development of Christian Consciousness contends that Jesus' own healing ministry evolved in this sequence - 1st disease healing, 2nd blind healing, 3rd leper healing, 4th creation of eyes in man born  blind.  Finally He progressed by defeating death, ascending to His Father's throne, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and the authority to minister it to mankind.  Each time we receive Holy Spirit power, it is Doctor Jesus Who is dispensing it/Him.  Using Jesus as our model, we would not often raise a dead person before we 1st healed a blind person, in the name of Jesus, not in our name!

John 1:1 reminds us that God's spoken Word became Flesh and dwelt among us.  So the spoken or spiritual Word of God is alive in the visible Person of Jesus Christ and also in the invisible Holy Spirit (breath of God).  Something like water/steam/ice. 
Angels are released/empowered to work when we speak God's words/ideas/wants/designs/heart/mind/thoughts/intentions.  Therefore when we pray, we need not become a broken record of asking.  Instead, we need to accept/take/receive what we have asked for and PRAY (to God) + SPEAK to/TREAT them accordingly, regardless of any evidence to the contrary.  This unchains/allows angels to minister to those who are heirs of salvation, even though those individuals have not yet been able or willing to receive Christ as savior.
Another lesson learned is that a physical "torn in the side" can be caused by a disciplining angel, rather than a demon.  This was true in the Lord's attempt to teach Kathie NOT to complain.  Complaining was her "blockage" or open door preventing her healing of deafness in one ear.

There are both heavenly portals and holy portals as well as atmospheres or thin areas of easy access/nearness to up or down in the spiritual realities.
God shows up more readily when we participate in His feasts or are at His sacred places.  Constantine was a major culprit for the removal of the knowledge of the value of Christians' need to participate in Jewish ceremonies and customs.  He split/separated/severed the Christian church from it's Jewish roots.  He changed dates and names to accommodate this tragedy.  (The Messianic church, is one good place to be, when looking for God to show up.)

When necessary, we can bind Satan and loose our healing/deliverance/even finances.  Praise You Father, in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ....
Who do predators abuse?  Most often it is the innocent children who are not street wise.  Likewise, Satin will take advantage of anyone who does not recognize/understand his/her rights in Christ, one who is easily intimidated, and one who will not say no/defend himself/fight back!)

"We are like a spiritual transformer. Spiritual power has to be converted to physical power just as radio signals have to be converted into frequencies audible to our physical ear. You don't hear the actual signal broadcast by the radio station, but rather a signal that has been picked up by a receiver and translated into an audible sound. For a person to say that there aren't any radio signals where they are, just because they cannot hear them, is not true. They are there, but they are on a higher frequency than the human ear can hear. They have to be 'de-modulated' into a lower frequency which we can hear.
This is the way our answers to prayer come. God moves in the spirit world and gives us our answer by faith, and we convert it into a physical reality through our actions. That is not to say that we are the one who produced the answer by our own power. It is God who works the miracles, but they do come through us. Without Him, we can do nothing, but He has made us joint heirs together with Christ so that He does nothing without us.
Ephesians 3:20 says, 'Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKETH IN US' (emphasis mine). We have a part to play in receiving from God. Ignorance of this has been our greatest problem...
Mark 11:24 means, 'What things so-ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.' You receive in your spirit by faith immediately, and it shall come to pass in the physical later. It may be one minute, one day, or one year, but you cannot waiver in your belief that God has already answered your prayer. The time that it takes for God's answer to be manifest in the physical is dependent upon many things, but it is not God who determines that. God answers immediately. Remember, it says you must believe that you receive WHEN YOU PRAY. God isn't asking you to believe something that isn't true. You do receive instantly in your spirit, then it is manifest in the physical later...
Whether it be Satan or people's wills or unbelief or any of a number of other possible hindrances, it's important that you know that it's not God who seems so unpredictable (Psalm 102:27, Malachi 3:6). In fact, this is a fundamental truth that you must be established in before you can even begin to do anything about speeding up the answer to your prayer. If you have prayed a prayer in line with God's Word, God answers it immediately (1 John 5:14-15; Daniel 9, 10). If you understand that, then you are ready to begin releasing your faith over bringing that answer into complete manifestation."

DANGER

One area of warning or concern is that of being wowed by manifestations (spiritual gifts/healing/deliverance/miracles),
yet NOT seeing the fruit of the spirit in the ministry or the person's life
and 2ndly not seeing the person taught how to defend himself/herself from relapse.

Additionally, if you believe that you have the Holy Spirit through being born again and/or the baptism of the Holy Spirit, yet you fail to see the fruit of the spirit (peace/joy/courage/trust/contentment/etc) in your own life, then all likelihood there is a lack of intimacy with the Trinity, plus a lack of praise and worship.  God's main purpose/wish/desire is for us to spend passionate time with Him.  The Groom wants the bride to spend time with Him.  Father, we repent.  Let us begin again with the help of Your Holy Spirit to court You.  In Jesus name we pray.
