Geography is the study of land. Where we live will affect what demons or evil spirits infect, molest, violate, oppress, terrorize or tempt us.
Ana Mendez-Ferrell in her book Shaking the Heavens www.anamendez.org cites areas where there is rampant satanic activity and thus much human suffering, especially in the 10/40 Window, between latitudes of 10degrees and 40 degrees north. Here Islam, plus the isms (Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Shintoism and Taoism) have a stronghold.
1- In India there are more than 3,000 gods worshiped.
2 -Africa is a cradle of voodoo magic.
3 -The former Soviet Union railed against God and those who believed in Him.
4 -In the central square of Port au Prince, Haiti there is a black pig statue engraved with "This nation belongs to Satan".
5 -In Mexico and some of the Latin America Catholic churches incorporate local pagan rites and practices into the mass. Santeria (Caribbean witchcraft) ceremonies are openly practiced on TV, while Christian TV is prohibited.
This illustrates that both individuals and locations can be bound by Satan's chains, which Holy Spirit and His angels need to loose and place around the neck of the enemy.
Ana says that we are to confess the atrocities of our selves, family, city, county, state, nation, and continent.
This repentance would be for both spiritual and civil, present and past, such as for the abuse of the American Indians by the North Americans.
Ana says that we are to rebuke, reject, confess, and cancel all ancestral covenants of self, family, city, county, state, nation, continent.
Lastly, we are to release the Holy Spirit into the location and speak blessings into the location in the name of Jesus Christ.
First however, we need God's visa, His permission to go and to do. We need His timing and His anointing. We are not do do things alone, but as a team. It is dangerous when we are in enemy territory and out of God's will!
If we are on God's team, it is time to ready ourselves to play on the offensive side, for we have spent too long on the defensive side. It is time to prepare for WAR! We need to declare war on the enemy (not look back and turn to salt) and grab God's hand, for better or worse. Let us never quit our war on mental illness or the enemy, who is the terrorist of our minds. When all else fails, it takes a family/ village/church/congregation to stand in the gap. God does not want one mentally ill person fixed. He wants the entire ward/hospital fixed.
Ana's book Seated in Heavenly Places contends that God has 4 spiritual kingdom levels/locations/ degrees of spiritual maturity. #1 Newborn/saved/water baptized. (Ana goes on to explain that Jewish custom has an heir wait under a tutor/governor until he is 30. That is the reason that Jesus had to wait until He was 30 to begin His ministry.) #2 Here the Baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers one for signs and wonders ministry.
#3 Here one has the power/authority of Jesus' resurrection to totally defeat the devil.
#4 At this level one has the mind/power/authority of heaven on earth.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we repent for allowing Your presence to fade from our lives. We repent for allowing troubles/life to push You aside. Forgive us. Help us to cherish You first in our lives. Impregnate us again with Your Holy Spirit to the degree that all Your designs for us will come to pass. Place a holy fire in our bones, so that we cannot resist Your will in our lives. Today we recommit ourselves to You. Give us Your mind, Your heart, Your ears, and Your health, so we will finish the course You laid out for us at the foundation of the earth. Amen. Always test the spirits, but also test the fruit.

One can take the land legally occupied by the enemy or stolen by the enemy. If the enemy has legal "grounds", then we need to cancel those "grounds" in the name of Jesus, by repenting for any specific sins.
We need to bind and remove the enemy, close any gates, enlist a mighty angel to guard that gate, and demand the enemy to replace double (even 100-fold) what was stolen, in the name of Jesus. For instance,

"Jesus, I repent for the incest in our family bloodline; I repent for ignoring the check in my spirit and naming our child after _________ who has/had __________ (schizophrenia/bipolar/insanity/mental illness) and thus (possibly) opening up the door (giving legal ground) for his/her inheriting this family disease and tormenting spirits. In Jesus name we bind all those evil tormenting spirits together and permanently place them under the feet of Jesus. In Jesus name we take back the ground the enemy has stolen, that Your holy name may be glorified. Satan, in Jesus name, we command 100 fold recompense. Father, in Jesus name we loose Your holy purposes and plans for _________ so that he/she might become stronger in the broken places, a spiritual giant in Your eyes, for Your glory.

We thank and praise You Lord Jesus. We appreciate Your victory on the cross, Your descent into the evil places beneath the earth to set the captives free, Your resurrection, and Your ascent to Your heavenly seat at the right hand of Your Father. Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished." (John 19:30) There is NO time in heaven, only here on earth. You know, when you are pregnant, the baby still takes 9 months to be visibly seen. Often it is that way with healing or deliverance. The problem is gone, but we do NOT notice, yet. We keep begging God to make it go away, but it is already fixed. Ho hum. How stupid we humans are, sometimes.
