The Lord showed Kathie to teach her youngsters that they could touch their own things, but nobody else's (including hers) without asking first.
Kathy reminded her children how it felt when other kids had taken their belongings without first asking.
Chapter 7 Screaming and Whining are unnecessary according to the Holy Spirit. Teach your young children to think, speak loudly if necessary, and to ask the Holy Spirit to direct them in an emergency. Outlaw them being in control of/ manipulating/dominating those in authority over them; this applies also to infants. Such "behavior patterns can open the children up to (obnoxious) strong self will and even demonic spirits." Strong self will opposes not only parents and others, it also blocks the will of the Father God. Best to nip these things in the bud - before they blossom/take root.
Chapter 9 The Gifts of the Spirit - for Parents Disallow children/students to interrupt unless it is important. Teach them to allow the authority/adult to finish the sentence, before saying, "Excuse me."
Chapter 11 Children and "Church" Youth living under a parent's roof need to be subservient to house rules. That home is a spiritual/mental/ physical covering where (whether it is brushing of teeth, attending school or church attendance) family routines are mandatory not optional. Same principles can be transferred to Sunday School, church, etc. where an adult is in authority (with the mutual understanding that no evil is being perpetrated).
Chapter 12 Allowing Them to Choose
"It is very hard for a young person to come under the authority and discipline of the Lord, if he or she ahs never come under the authority land discipline of their parents...It isn't a loving thing to allow a child to 'do his own thing.'"

"One of the pioneers in resurrecting the deliverance ministry in the last generation was Don Basham, who described how he came to find that his own small daughter Laura needed deliverance. Don and his wife, Alice, thought they had lost Laura and were exasperated when they found that Laura had simply wandered off and was playing in her friend’s garage while they were searching the neighbourhood frantically. When they discovered her, Alice cried out to her, “We thought we would never see our Laura Ann again!” at which Laura began to wail in terror. Her parents tried to consol her, but she continued to wail.
At bedtime Laura told Don she could not sleep. When Don asked her why, she answered, ’Cause every time I start to say my prayers, something inside of me makes fun of my prayers.'
Reluctant as I was to think it, it sounded precisely like the activity of some demonic mocking spirit. What a frightening idea, that such a thing could invade my own child!
I tried to sound casual as I made the suggestion to Laura. 'You know, honey, that sounds a little like it might be an evil spirit.'
'Uh-huh.’
’Want to get rid of it?'
Laura nodded. I was grateful that the children knew about the ministry that I was getting into and accepted it quite naturally….
From what Laura had said I assumed the spirit’s name would be mockery, but to my surprise, when I commanded it to name itself, Laura answered firmly, 'Fear.' As I ordered the spirit of fear to come out, Laura grabbed herself across the midriff. Then she straightened up.
'I felt it leave,' said matter-of-factly. 'I’m fine now. G’nite, Daddy.' And she snuggled down against her pillow….
'Daddy?' Laura’s sleepy voice reached me at the door. 'I think I know when that old spirit came in.'
'You do? When?'
'Well, you know this afternoon when you and Mommy were so mad at me? And you said you might never see me again? Daddy, I got so scared! And I felt something laughing ever since.'…
This was how I began to explore, quite by accident within my own family, the ways in which an evil spirit can gain entry into the system. What happened with Laura, I felt, was that because of the afternoon’s trauma a crack appeared in her natural defences. As a child of God she was ordinarily protected from such invasions. Actually, however, It must work out often for us that because of some disturbance – a shock, an illness, an accident – our normal defences are let down. Obviously it doesn’t take long for an evil spirit to take advantage of the situation, get in and start doing its dirty work."

In Guatemalan culture there is great shame and condemnation on mothers who give birth to deformed or stillborn children. We prayed a simple prayer that everything would go well with the funeral and burial of the baby and that the mother would be spared the shame and condemnation associated with having given birth to a stillborn child. As we were praying this simple prayer, my friend and fellow ministry team member, Julia (age 17), told me that we needed to pray over the baby's body. I thought she was crazy to suggest this and that it was not a good idea. Julia was persistent. She said again that we really needed to pray over the baby's body. She told me to ask the mother if she still had the baby's body. When I asked, the mother told us the baby's body was wrapped up in a burial cloth in the backroom. I asked her if we could pray over the body. The mother hesitantly said, yes. We went into the backroom and saw the baby's body wrapped up in a bundle on the bed. Julia poked her head out of the back room and asked if she could unwrap the baby's head. The mother said, yes, if we wrapped it back correctly when we were done. Julia picked up the body and unwrapped the head. The baby's head was tiny and pale. The baby was stillborn and had been dead outside the womb for 27 hours. Her skin had turned shades of purple. Our entire ministry team, 5 of us, began crying and praying over this baby. We prayed for 30 to 40 minutes. At the end of that time, Julia screamed out to God, telling him that she believed with all of her heart that this baby could be raised from the dead. After Julia screamed out, everyone was silent. We were quietly interceding and praying. Within a few minutes, the baby started moving. Then the baby coughed and began crying. The mother came rushing into the room. She was screaming, what is going? No one could answer her. We were just staring at the baby, who had come back to life. The mother asked us again, what is going on? She began crying as she saw that her baby was alive. She ran out of the house and banged on every door in the village, telling all of the people that God is real because her baby was alive. Within about 30 minutes, the baby's skin tone and movements had become completely normal.

The other villagers came to the house to see this amazing miracle. They asked us which of the Indian gods we had prayed to for such a miracle to happen. We told them we had prayed to the biggest God ever and we began to explain to them about Jesus. Soon, we realized we would not have time to minister salvation to each person individually. So, we gathered all the villagers together, turned on our little sound system and explained the way of salvation. Everyone in the village, 80 to 90 people, prayed to receive Jesus. Each of them was baptized in the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues. Many would fall to the ground as the power of the Holy Spirit came on them.
5 days later, we returned to the village to check in on the mother and the baby. The village had prepared a big dinner in honor of our team. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship together. The baby, whom they named Julia, was perfectly healthy and had gained weight. Even after 5 days, the mother was still shaking from the impact of God on her life through the resurrection of her child. 2 days after our follow-up visit, the mother brought baby Julia to church. The mother was still shaking from the power of God on her life following this astounding miracle. (Testimony given by) Abby"

Some children receive Jesus as Messiah at the age of 3. John the Baptist received the Holy Spirit in the womb.
Most children can readily receive Christ as Savior by the 1st grade, when most can discern between fantasy and reality.
It is imperative that they also receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Then, one needs to immediately have them become aware of the enemy of their Lord and of themselves.
If toddlers can become victimized by demons then they can also become warriors for God's kingdom.
Caretakers, take those stories or nursery rhymes and expose the invisible spiritual enemy.
Read or tell the story or even have the child tell or finish the story for or to you.
Teach your youngster how to use a concordance. Use it together.
Then together look up and read aloud corresponding scripture. Maybe even memorize together.
Next share the spiritual comparisons. Each time you 2 do this always review the spiritual implications.
The reverse can also be done. After reading scripture, share the secular tale illustrated by the children's story. Many children's stories can be used to expose the wiles of God's enemy, Satan.
However, it is imperative that you repeatedly advise the preschool child that a fictional tale is imaginary and that scripture is NOT.
NEVER intentionally permit a situation to arise (like Santa) where the child will have to realize that he has been lied to by you.
Satan is the author of lies and you do not want to be the cause of the child later rejecting you, scripture or God due to deceit.
Little Red Riding Hood. Concordance word "clothing" cites Matthew 7:15 TLB which in Kwikscan says "15Beware of false teachers who come (clothed) disguised as harmless sheep (or come in sheep's clothing), but are wolves and will tear you apart. 16(The Holy Spirit inside) you can detect (recognize) them by the way they act, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit."
Concordance word "angel" cites 2nd Corinthians 12:14 TLB which in Kwikscan says, "Yet I am not surprised. Satan can change himself into an angel of light (from appearing as a bad angel with no wings to a nice angel with wings). 15So it is no wonder his (naughty/secret/evil/bad) servants can do it too and seem like (pretend to be) godly (nice) ministers (grown ups/friends)."

You can show them in scripture that Jesus was tempted by Satan 3 times in 3 ways (the temptation of the human spirit, mind/soul and body) per Mark 1, Matthew 4, Luke 4. You can show them that Jesus is also knocking at the door of our hearts, illustrated in the famous painting of Jesus knocking at a door. Or show them Revelation 3:20 NIV Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with Me.
Finally, remind the children that the enemy is always just a bad guy God allows to help us grow up in Him.
For instance, a gentle spanking should not harm us, but steer us like a rudder of a boat. The blue mold on bread should not harm us but be a penicillin drug to heal us. Your illustrations would be better than ours. The point is to show from their and God's perspective that all things in Jesus can work our for good.
