Will God adopt

Kendall, RT in his book The Anointing, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
points out that the (1) body, (2) mind and (3) spirit needs to be diversified/well rounded. For instance, a monk needs to have friends. Even though God gives us the down payment of the Holy Spirit when He adopts us, we are only newborn infants spiritually. At birth (spiritual rebirth = born again), the human spirit is like the human body, 100% complete and perfect, but immature/helpless/in need of protection/nurturing. It takes a lifetime to grow us up intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

The most important 1st step of our mental/emotional/psychiatric healing/maturity is that of asking God to forgive us for all mistakes and all failures, individually as they come to mind. We need to ask God to remove the condemnation and guilt. (When in the future, any self pity/condemnation/guilt comes, we need to remind the enemy to get lost, because we are forgiven.) We need to thank God for His Son Jesus' taking upon the cross the consequences of our actions and failures.

Then Jesus becomes not only our spiritual brother but also our doctor. His office shelves are lined with all new body parts. We are in luck. Sometimes there are miracles where He fixes up people with a wave of the wand, but for most it is a walk of faith. The greater our faith in Him, the more He is empowered to fix us. It is like a balloon or mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The more trust we have in Him, the more he is able to perform His healing work on us. The more of Him (His Holy Spirit) in us, the more healed/spiritually mature we become.

Each generation has the opportunity to be rescued from eternal death into eternal life. Each person must choose, because God has already chosen him. God made each of us with the ability to say yes or no. When a man proposes to a woman, she must respond in the affirmative or negative. She does not stay neutral. The women with the empty containers of oil were not ready to meet the groom when He came. Pontius Pilate and his affiliates did not align themselves on God's side. Most in Christ's generation did not recognize Jesus to be the prophesized Messiah. Each generation thereafter had few who recognized Him and attached themselves into His heart/service. Even John the Baptist was not sure, but he did ask and did respond positively! The wedding/adoption papers are ready, but we must sign on the dotted line.

When we say yes to God Who wants to adopt us, we immediately have the same endearment to God our Father, privileges and responsibilities as does Christ our brother.)

Original sin remaining in our lives is not commission, but rather omission, failure or refusal to accept God's provision to rectify it, failure to apologize/repent, failure to accept Jesus Christ as savior/messiah/ son of God. Original sin is a chasm between God and us. Original sin separates us from God eternally/ permanently. Original sin makes us children of hell/Satan. However, we can choose heaven/eternal life. It is never earned, but rather elected, asked for with a thankful heart. It is a FREE gift of a loving spiritual Dad. It is the free inheritance of anyone who asks to become a son/daughter of God.
In addition to original sin is committed sin, whether done knowing or not, because all law (human or spiritual) when broken, is a trespass. Likewise, "a person's deliverance must be accepted. You and I must choose to receive."

Lake contends that there are 3 salvations. Salvation of the spirit. Salvation of the soul. Salvation of the body. When one commits his spirit, soul (mind), and body to God, he receives a triune salvation. He makes an absolute consecration (100% dedication) to God. This is one major secret to a successful Christian life. This allows for healing of both mind and body in addition to the regeneration of the spirit.
Like with marriage, it takes a life of commitment to not quit plus to obtain and retain any healings. An intimate relationship with God is required, as it is with any mate.
The majority of Christians stop with the 1st salvation - of the spirit - and thus fail to mature spiritually and fail to have the power to heal themselves or others.
God's prayer/purpose is to produce sons/daughters equal to Jesus Christ. That is only possible when we adopt Him as our Father. When we ask His Holy Spirit into our spirit/mind/body, we are born into His spiritual family. Then He can begin to grow us up into perfection, where disease/premature death/insanity have no rights to exist. Salvation/sanctification is a progressive condition.
Chapter 36 Behold, I Give You Power begins by emphasizing that healing is a part of salvation and vice versa. Salvation is not just reconciliation to God. It is also reconciliation of our body and mind, in addition to our spirit. When we plug into God, His Holy Spirit flows into us changing our identity, our DNA, our brain cells, making us daily a little more wonderful and perfect. We daily become more healthy (in spirit, body and soul/mind) and more like Jesus Christ our brother in the family of God. Jesus pops the question to His church, will we be His bride. Yes you. Yes me. Let us not be surprised. We need to say yes, not only to our spirit life after death; we also need to say yes to our mind/body/spirit now on earth. God wants all of us right now to be perfect on earth, beginning now. That means inch by inch, victory by victory, we need to expect and trust Him to do in us now what we cannot on our own. We need to believe in order to receive, just like believing in Santa at Christmas; only, God is the real deal.
Kenneth Copeland says that all that Christ did for us is insufficient. Why is that? A contract requires 2 signatures. A marriage requires the bride to say, "Yes; I do." It takes 2 to dance; 2 to make a baby. So, you see, Christ's sacrifice requires that the recipient/beneficiary/heir of the blessing/benefit recognize/ know that the lottery/windfall exists, then believe, and then act on that knowledge. Today ___________________ is the day I asked (ASK) God to forgive all my past sins and asked (ASK) His Son Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I now______________ on this anniversary , renew (or MAKE today __________ ) my vows to Your Son Jesus Christ, Who came in the flesh, died for my sins, and was resurrected, that I might have eternal life with Him in heaven when my spirit leaves the body in death.

I renounce, refuse and reject Satan and all His lies. I long to have more and more of You in my life. I long to have more of Your power in my life to overcome all that offends and hurts You. I long to have more of Your power in my life to bless You and also to bless others. I thank You now for all of Your Holy Spirit with which to date you have endowed me. Awesome.
