Baptism of Water
Into the Death of
Jesus
(the drowning of
everything in us that is not in alignment with God's Spirit)
Scripture
Didache - Chapter 7.
Concerning Baptism. "Concerning
baptism, baptize this way: Having first said all these things, baptize into the
name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, in living water. But if
you have no living (fresh/moving) water, baptize into other water; if you cannot
do so in cold water, do so in warm. But if you have neither, pour out water 3
times upon the head into the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But before the
baptism let the baptizer fast, and the baptized, and whoever else can; but you
shall order the baptized to fast 1 or 2 days before."

Matthew 3:13-15 -
Jesus came
from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John, but John tried to deter Him,
saying,
"I need to be baptized by You. Do You come to me?" As soon as
Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water.
At that moment
heaven was opened & he (John) saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove & lighting on Him.
A voice from heaven said, "This is My Son,
whom I love; with Him I am well pleased."
Matthew 28:1-20 -
The 11 disciples went to Galilee, to
the mountain where (resurrected)
Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him, but some doubted.
Then Jesus came to them & said, "All authority in
heaven & earth has been
given to Me.
Therefore go & make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of Father, Son AND Holy Spirit.
Teach them to
obey everything I have commanded you. Surely I am with you always, to the
very & of the age."
Matthew 21:37 TPNT
37Later He (Father God) sent His Son (Jesus
Christ) to them saying, "They will respect My Son
(Messiah)." 38When the farmers (spiritually blind/God's
enemies/demons) saw the Son, they said among themselves, "This is the Heir.
Come
let us kill Him. Then we would have(take/destroy/sabotage/abort/invalidate) His
inheritance (destiny as Savior/Messiah)."
[Spiritual insight:
This parable/test of character can be applied in every generation.
Water baptism is public testimony of our
(each generation's) personal choice of Jesus as Messiah.

Mark 1:8 TPNT - I (John)

"Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judea, &
all the region round about
Jordan, & were baptized of him (John the baptizer) in Jordan (river),
confessing their sins.
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto
John, to be baptized of him. But John forbade Him, saying, 'I have need to be
baptized of Thee; comest Thou to me?' Jesus answering said unto him, 'Suffer
it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness.'
Then John suffered Him. Jesus, when He was baptized, went up
straightway out of the water...
The heavens were opened...He (John)
saw the Spirit of God descending in a bodily shape like a dove & lighting upon Him; (John heard) a voice from heaven, saying,
'This

- "When
I was commissioned to baptize with water God spoke these words to me,
‘1 day you will see the Spirit descend and remain upon a
man. He will be the One I have sent to baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
34And
now I have seen this revelation fulfilled with my own eyes.
I can tell you for
sure that this man (Yeshua) is the Son of God.”
John 3:5-7 - Jesus answered, "I tell
you (Nicodemus) the truth, no one can enter
(recognize/operate in) the kingdom of (mind of) God unless he is born of water (amniotic fluid and/or baptism)
AND (his human spirit is impregnated with) the
(Holy) Spirit.
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the
(Holy) Spirit gives birth (certificate) to spirit
(sons/citizens). You should not be surprised at My
saying, 'You must be born again (into the spirit dimension/kingdom of
God/mind of Christ).'"
John 3:16-18 - "For God so loved the world that He gave
His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have
eternal life, for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not
condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has
not believed in the name of God's one and only Son."
Acts 2:38 NIV - Peter replied, "Repent and be
(water) baptized (immersed), every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of lour sins, & you will receive the
(initial) gift (deposit/title deed/promissory note) of the Holy Spirit.
29The promise (of eternal life/engagement ring/wedding
invitation) is for you and your children & for all who are far off - for whom the Lord our God will
call."
Acts 9:17-18 KJV - Jesus, that appeared to you in the way as you came, has
sent me (Ananias) that you might receive your sight & be filled with the Holy Ghost.
Immediately there fell from his eyes, as it had been, scales.
He received
sight (back again), arose, as was baptized (in water).
Acts 10:44-47 NIV - 43Everyone
who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.
44While Peter was still speaking these
words, the Holy Spirit came on all who herd the message...
46For
they heard them speaking in in tongues and praising god. Then Peter said,
47"Can anyone keep these people from being
baptized with water"...in the name of Jesus Christ.
Acts 19:2-5 TPNT - 2He
asked them, "Did you take the Holy Spirit when you believed?"
They said to
him, "In fact, we did not hear whether there is a Holy Spirit." 3So he said, "Then in what name were you
baptized?" 4Then Paul said,
"John did baptize a baptism of repentance to the people, saying they
should believe in the One Who was coming after him, that is in Jesus."
5When they heard, they were (water)
baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Jewish custom dictates
water immersion.)
Colossians 2:11-14 - In Him you were
also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a
circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ,
having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him through your
faith in the power of God, Who raised Him from the dead. You, being dead
in your sins & the un-circumcision of your flesh, has He quickened (made
alive) together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses.
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was
contrary to us, & took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross.
Romans 6:3-6,11,14 - Don't you know
that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His
death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism (of
water) into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from
the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Count
yourselves dead to
sin (hurts, wounds, disillusionments, disease)
but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Sin shall not be your master, because
you are not under the law, but under grace (and mercy).

whom we have also obtained an inheritance,

according to the counsel of His own will,
12that
we should be to [the] praise of his glory who have pre-trusted in the Christ:

1st Peter 3:18-22 - (Generations after the life of Noah, Christ, the Son of God
came to earth.) Christ died for sins, once for all, the
righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you (me/mankind)
to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the
(Holy)
Spirit, through Whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison who
disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark
was being built. In it only a few people, 8 in all, were saved through
water, and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you (us) also
- not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience
toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Who has gone
into heaven and is at God’s right hand-with angels, authorities & powers in submission to
Him.
1st John 5:5-8 - Who is it that
overcomes the world? Only he who believes that
Jesus is the Son of
God.
This is the One Who came by water & blood: Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only,
but by water & blood.
It is the
Spirit Who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. There are 3 that
testify: (Holy) Spirit, the water (of birth &
baptism) and the blood (of Christ on the cross).
The 3 are in agreement. (Without the atonement of blood there is no
remission of sins.)
(TPNT footnotes, "Water refers to at least 3 things; amniotic fluid of His
birth, baptism, & also to Torah,
for which water is a metaphor from
Isaiah 55:1 & Exodus 14:22."
Blood refers to "the blood of our
covenant. The life is in the blood, Genesis 9:4.
There are 2 ways by which the Father
testified about Jesus: In John 5:36 Jesus says
'The works
which I do testify'...
Several times the Father Himself spoke, such as at
Jesus' baptism and at His transfiguration.")
(Spiritual
insight: This scripture can also refer to the water and blood that flowed from
the side of Christ when pierced on the cross.
Remember, the body is mostly
water. Also blood consists of 2 parts: white & red blood corpuscles.)
1st John 5:7-8 KJV 7.There are 3 that bear record in heaven - the
Father, the Word (Jesus Christ Messiah), and the Holy Ghost; these 3 are one.
8.There are 3 that bear witness in earth: the (Holy) Spirit, the (Living) water,
& the (shed) blood (of Jesus Christ Messiah); these 3 agree in one.
(Deuteronomy
17:6 Harkavy At the mouth of 2 witnesses or 3 witnesses shall he
that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he
shall not be put to death.)
John's Baptism
Matthew 3:1-3 John the Baptist
(Jesus' 1st cousin) came
preaching in the desert of Judea saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is
near." This is He (John) who was spoken of through the prophet
Isaiah, "A voice of one calling in the desert. Prepare the way for the
Lord. Make straight paths for Him."
Matthew 3:7,11-12
When he saw many of the Pharisees and
Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them"...I baptize
you with water for repentance, but after me will come One who is more
powerful than I, Whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize
you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
Matthew 3:13 -
Jesus came to be baptized by John.
Mark 1:4 - John preached a (water) baptism of repentance for
forgiveness (of sins,
rather than the ritual sacramental immersions or the annual repentance
obligation cited in
http://niv.scripturetext.com/leviticus/16.htm )
Luke 3:2-4 - God came to John the son
of Zechariah in the wilderness.
He came into all the country about Jordan,
preaching the (water) baptism of repentance for the
remission of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the
prophet.
John 1:31 - I came baptizing (by immersion) in water that He (Messiah)
might be manifested (revealed to those hearts made ready).

"A light resting on the young man...seemed to be radiating out from
him, coming out of the very pores of his skin.
(In retrospect) I had always considered that the glory radiating from the face
of Moses was a reflection, that because he had been standing face to face with
the Lord,
the light from the countenance of the Lord
had shone onto Moses face, and that
external experience had worked its way inward...
It seems to me now that it was
an internal experience that worked its way out to the exterior. Moses’
face shone...It was brilliant.
His face shone so brightly that the people were unable to look at him. That’s
what God wants to do for us in these days. We formerly thought that only Moses
could have had
such a great experience, but now we know that we are all destined to see the
glory of God and to reflect it...
In the days ahead we will see ministries that have resisted certain
aspects of the move of God’s Spirit in the
past now being baptized in the
cloud and doing things they never imagined themselves doing. Lord."
Baptism for the Dead?

ancestors) can be erased through (infant or adult)
baptism...Personal sin, on the other hand, can be erased through repentance (of

forgiveness/repentance for inherited venial/mortal sin refers NOT to the
salvation of ancestors,
but to prevention/eradication of the curse of those sins
operating in our lives and the lives of our seed.)]

Water Baptism for Salvation vs Holy
Spirit Baptism
Branham,
William -

Water Baptism "In Matthew 28:19 Jesus said,
'Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.‘ 10 days later, in Acts
2:38 Peter said, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of the
Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.' Is this a contradiction? I don't
believe it is. Notice in Matthew 16 Jesus asked his disciples who they thought
He was. Peter said, 'Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.‘ Jesus
said, 'Blessed are you, Simon, because flesh and
blood didn‘t reveal this to you. You got the revelation from My Father Who is in
heaven. Upon this rock (What rock? The revelation.)
I will build My Church, and the gates of hell won‘t
prevail against it.‘ Peter was standing there when Jesus said go baptize
in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. 10 days later he did exactly what
Jesus said. He had the revelation of God and the keys to the Kingdom. He knew
that Father is not a name, Son is not a name, and Holy Ghost is not a name; they
are titles (offices/roles) showing what He is. He is a Father; He is a Son; He
is a Holy Spirit. Jesus said baptize in the N-A-M-E (singular), the name of the
Father, Son and Holy Ghost. That name is the Lord Jesus Christ. So, when I
baptize, I recognize both parts: His titles and His actual
name. I say, 'Father, as Thou has commissioned us to go unto
all the world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, I now baptize this person in
the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.‘ That covers both
sides of the argument and let‘s me fellowship with all of you."

A Divine Fusion
Takes Place @
You Have Divine DNA
Inside of You! by Matt Sorger.
"Recently
God gave me a vision of what happens to us at salvation.
It radically
altered the way I see myself. I saw the moment God encountered Mary in
Luke 1:31-35
telling her she would bear the Christ Child. I saw the Person of
the
Holy Spirit overshadow her.
I saw Mary's DNA and the Holy Spirit's DNA.
I saw them intertwine and
become one, creating Jesus in her womb, fully God and fully man.
[This does not clarify if Mary's human spirit, human soul and/or human
flesh/ovum/egg was shared with Father God's seed, or not. Below only
addresses a fetus' reborn spirit.]
Then the vision shifted to me. I saw myself at salvation. I saw the Holy
Spirit over
shadow me and fill me. My body (womb) became the temple of the Holy Spirit.
I also saw
my spirit man's DNA and the Holy Spirit's DNA. I saw them intertwine and become
one.
I saw the Holy Spirit wrap around my human spirit like 2 DNA strands coming
together
as 1, just like when the DNA from a father and mother mix together to form a new
baby. It looked like the Double Helix. As the Holy Spirit wrapped around my
human spirit,
they fused together, becoming one and forming a brand new creation.
This fusion of Holy Spirit and my human spirit formed Christ in me.
Heavenly DNA - Divine Nature -
1 Corinthians
6:17 declares,
'But
the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.'
This revelation was in scripture the whole time!
I became one spirit with the Holy Spirit and I now have a new holy, divine
nature.
This is Christ in me, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27, 2 Peter 1:4)
Divine DNA from God was fused into my human spirit causing me to
partake of God's divine nature.
I was truly a brand new creation. As Holy Spirit became one with my human
spirit,
I was 'born again'. Christ was formed inside of me. I was much more than a
better version of myself.
I was something brand new. When you receive
Christ as your Savior
and Holy Spirit takes up residence inside of you, He actually fuses Himself
together with your spirit. You become one with God. You have His divine
nature inside of you.
You are a brand new creation, with new desires and a new life. Our core
identity is completely transformed.
Christ's very nature and identity is now
completely formed in your spirit. It's a glorious transformation.
This is why you are holy, righteous
and clean.
Having divine DNA in your spirit has so many affects on your
life as you become
transformed in your spirit, soul and body."

[Kat Kerr seems to teach that the above occurs at confirmation (baptism
in Holy Spirit) rather than salvation (repentance/ water/baptism of John).
Notice Kat mentions that Holy Spirit & human spirit exchange a (DNA) soul layer at
the time of fusion/ conception of new life (whether physical or spiritual).
Kat suggests (that at salvation)Holy Spirit walks alongside us rather than inside us,
but that
Father God has placed a diamond (engagement/betrothal) ring/rock deposit/inside of us

salvation/time of our repentance and saying yes to Messiah.

Repenting for, renouncing and loosing sins from oneself + inviting Jesus
into
the heart of our spirit man
allows 2 things: Jesus to walk alongside us and
our soul layer (DNA clone) to
sit in the 3rd heaven.
However, for Holy Spirit (Trinity) to indwell/live/occupy our spirit man,
we
need to invite + accept/receive Jesus to be
our baptizer in/with the Holy Spirit.
[Remember, this occurred in 2 steps
in the New Testament 99% of the time.
Typically via Salvation (Christmas/Easter/water-baptism) + next Holy Spirit
baptism (Pentecost/confirmation).
Commentary regarding baptism into the Kingdom of God
+ sanctification
(ongoing infilling with the Holy Spirit
+ ongoing
death to the flesh/self)
The New Testament admonishes us to become less and less,
so that
Christ can become more and more in us.
Asking Jesus to forgive all our sins and to be the Lord of our lives,
opens the
door for the Holy Spirit to enter.
As we die to self and concede to God we are able to (like a sponge) absorb more
of Him. When there is less of me, myself and I, there is more room for
Him.
The step after adult water baptism (signifying engagement to Christ)
is the baptism of the Holy Spirit (signifying marriage to Christ), Who enables
us to more readily operate in the invisible spiritual Kingdom of God.
Spiritual humility or denying self, not protecting/defending self from false
attacks or even from danger/disease/harm is the model Christ set in the garden
of Gethsemane and forward.
Allowing of abuse was part of God's
spiritual plan for both Jesus & mankind.
It was His will
at that time. God revealed His
will/plan/purpose to His son Jesus.
Jesus sweat blood in the garden during
the time He had to make a choice to obey feelings, pain avoidance, shame
avoidance, etc. or to obey Dad, His Boss. Sometimes we have to NOT save face in order to
further God's kingdom. Sometimes,
we have to apologize to a victimizer,
when we are the victim. It might be that we have hate in our heart or
death wishes? It might be that SOMETHING negative rises up in us when we
hear the name of someone mentioned? Obviously, it is a red flag, a warning
that the flesh wants control.
Remember this story when we are reprimanding another:
Matthew 7:1-5 KJVer -
1Judge not that you be not judged.
2With the judgment you judge, you shall be judged. With what measure you
mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3Why behold the mote in
your brother's eye, ut consider not the beam in your own eye?
4How
will you say to your brother, "Let me pull the mote out of your eye,
(when) a beam is in your own eye?"
5Hypocrite, 1st cast the beam
out of your own eye. Then you shall see clearly to cast the mote out of
your brother's eye.
Well, that log is a crumb to us, but a log to God. Neither logs nor
crumbs can enter into heaven.
Dead people do NOT feel. We are to be
dead to self.
Psychiatrists and counselors tout one's having a good self image, etc.
Well, going to confession is about one of the best ways to clear one's
conscience AND self image.
However, if we are dead (to the demands of the
mind and flesh), then there is NO guilt/pain/feelings/hurt.
If we are
dead to self and alive to Christ and He is 99.9% inside us by way of the Holy
Spirit, then we need to deny ALL yelling of the emotions/feelings + ALL yelling
of accusing demons that contradict the Word & purposes of God.
We forgive self, God or another (NOT because our feelings agree with this act,
but) because we walk by faith and not by feelings. We walk in spiritual
obedience to the Bible (NOT our pastor) & NOT in obedience to emotions or
thoughts dumped into our minds by evil spirits or commands given to us by
misguided individuals.
God, help us daily hear and obey You. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen...
Another issue is SELF absorption/focus. Me, me, me focus. It's all
about me, my family, my job, my city, my state, my nation, my religion, my, my,
my. That dangerous self absorption in fact hints of Pride, which is what
felled Lucifer & all
the human race, like dominoes, after him - plummeting down towards hell.
Our focus is to be heavenly, towards the Trinity - daily. Holy Spirit and
guardian angel, I enlist your help to steer me towards 24/7 focusing on Jesus.
Thanks, in Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Episode #16
The Way of the Spirit - in Israel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfUampWrge0 @
https://holyspirit.tv/ shares BOTH water
and Holy Spirit baptism, following salvation.
Commentary
Water Baptism
Catholic Infant Baptism
Portestant Infant Christening
Mormon Baptism for the Dead
Sanctification (spiritual maturity of the
mind and body) begins with salvation. Salvation begins when one is
"born-again (when the Holy Spirit unites with the human spirit)." Sozo
means the salvation of mind/soul, body & spirit.
Christ died to fix all
3, not just the spirit. Water baptism is the public proclamation of the
personal acceptance
of Christ as one's
Messiah/savior/healer/forgiver/rabbi/priest/king/mate/best friend/deliverer.
John 3:5-7 - Jesus answered, "I tell
you (Nicodemus) the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of
God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
You should not be surprised at My
saying , 'You must be born again.'"
The Jewish ritual bar
mitzvah for children is age 13, when they are considered to be an adult in some
capacity.
At least by age 13 most individuals should be able to discern
between good and evil. Thus it is spiritually imperative that each person
decide if he/she will accept Jesus as Messiah or reject Him and what He did on
the cross for them.
While the child is under the parent's guardianship or roof, they may have a
spiritual protection, but once they are independent, they must choose to accept
or reject the Trinity.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is just another step in the sanctification of the
individual.
The Catholic church calls this confirmation...Because of Original Sin & genetic
transfer of both spiritual & physical DNA from ancestors, we recommend a Family
Healing Mass at the time the infant is Christened (Protestant) or Water Baptized
(Catholic)...The presents an opportunity for the Pastor to mentor the
congregation before the sacraments (communion and christening/baptism)...It
gives time for Pastor to present/offer opportunity for a personal alter call,
rededication to/reaffirmation of their own sacraments (baptism/conformation),
laying on of hands, group confession, plus reconciliation with Christ &
relatives...Additionally, this ceremony gives opportunity for family repentance for the
removal of family iniquity in the child being dedicated. The child then
can be consecrated to God and for His purposes, after inviting the Holy Spirit
to replace all demonic DNA with holy DNA.
Benny Hinn says that to BELIEVE
is to do so with the heart rather than with the mind (intellect).
It is to
yield, surrender or follow. It (water baptism) is an exchange like a blood transfusion.
God takes away our sin & gives us His spirit. That is the greatest
miracle of the human existence.
(Obviously as an infant is dependant/under the covering of the parent/legal
guardian, the
spiritual covering will apply on earth and in heaven.)
Regarding the water baptism. It is John, called the
Baptist, who is know for implementing the Christian water baptism for the
forgiveness of sins. (However, the Jewish community also has a similar ceremonial bath for
washing away sin.) Scripture indicates that John did not
recognize Jesus as the Messiah, until later in life. A parish priest explains it this way:
John did recognize Jesus to be his cousin, but he did not recognize him to be
the Messiah, until later. That is true of all humans. We first
recognize Jesus as a living human before we recognize Him to be God's son
and our savior from sins. This is when God removes the veil. It is a
spiritual awareness, not an intellectual understanding, perception, or insight.
The soul perceives with the mind. The spirit perceives with the spirit.
Only when the spirit of God is implanted into us,
can the newborn spirit cry out
Abba Father, daddy.
Luke 1:13 KJV - The angel said to him, "Fear not,
Zechariah, for your prayer is heard. Your wife Elizabeth shall

You shall call his name John. You shall have joy and gladness.
Many shall rejoice at his birth.
He shall be great in the sight of the
Lord. He shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He shall be filled
with
the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Many of the children
of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
Luke 7:19 KJV - John sent 2 of his disciples to Jesus,
saying, "Are You He that should come or do we look for another?"
Luke 7:22 KJV - Jesus answered, "Go your way and tell
John (the Baptist,
My 1st cousin) what things you have seen and heard, how the blind see, the lame
walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the gospel is preached to the poor. Blessed is he who shall NOT be offended in
Me."

'Behold, I send My
messenger before your face, who shall prepare Your way before You." (see Malachi

I say to you, "Among those that are born of women there is not a

Adam and Eve 40:2 - "When 5,500 years have been fulfilled,
then will come upon earth the most beloved king Christ, the son of God, to
revive the body of Adam and with him to revive the bodies of the dead.
He
Himself, the son of God, when He comes will be baptized in the river

The oil of mercy will be for generation to generation for those who are ready to

the most beloved son of God, Christ, descending on earth shall lead your father

Commentary:
(Catholic) Father Hampsch in Healing Your Family Tree,
says,
"A predisposition for exercising...deliverance power -
'a sign that the kingdom
of God has come to you' (Luke 11:20) -is repentance
(1st
John 4:4; 5:18), being reborn in God's family. This enables us to
come against the negative family traits that that have been transmitted to us, &
to prevent the transmission of our own negative traits to our offspring.
This is simply applying one's own 'baptismal rights' (or salvation rights) to
restore the life of God to the deadened areas of the family tree.
(The baptismal
right (salvation right) is that by which we have access to God's family, for in
baptism we become 'children of God' & part of His family tree)...
Instead of crediting infant baptism or purgatory as the ticket
to heaven (which he passed out to the children during mass) a Boston Catholic
priest in 2005 (wrongly) credits the ticket to heaven - to obeying the 10 commandments
found in the Old Testament. One little child ran to her parents shouting,
"I have a ticket to heaven"...Scripture says not to offend the little children. (Matthew 18:6 or Mark
6:3 "Who shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were
better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck, and that he were drown
in the depth of the sea")...This priest began beautifully to illustrate that Jesus is the
ticket to heaven, but his punch line missed the mark altogether. He showed
wonderfully that we or a friend can buy a ticket to a movie, a ball game, a
museum or heaven. He failed to show that we cannot buy a ticket to heaven.
Only our friend Jesus can buy that ticket.
Jesus paid the full price of
that ticket. Jesus bought up all the tickets to heaven.
Our ticket
to heaven is free to us. It did cost Jesus a lot, however.
When we
accept the ticket from Jesus, we can get into heaven.
When we
acknowledge Jesus as our friend, savior, forgiver, lover and lord,
He gives us
that ticket to heaven. In gratitude we are baptized with water as a sign
to the world that we pledge our allegiance to Him.
We follow Christ's
example, for Christ was baptized in the lake by His 1st cousin John.
We can take NO credit for being born into or belonging to a family.
Neither can we claim credit for any adoption into a family. It is the
parents who do the choosing, not the child. Likewise, when we are adopted
into God's heavenly family, it is Father God Who chooses us. It is Jesus
His son Who made that possible. Nothing we do can make God love us more,
chose us above another, or make Him un-adopt us.
He did all the adoption
papers 2000 years ago, before we were ever born.
All we need to do is say,
"Yes."
At a marriage ceremony, all the paperwork is already done.
All we need to do is say, "Yes"...
One cannot experience a reality in the flesh when it is in the mind as an idea.
God creates a human being just by
thinking about him. The infant does not
experience "conception" in the female, but he does experience being born.
When we say yes to a wedding proposal we do not experience the consummation of
the marriage until later. Just before we say yes to having the Lord
Jesus as our forgiver and Lord, we do not have the experiential insight of our
new birth into God's spiritual family as a sibling of Jesus Christ. When
we say yes, it is our spiritual conception, our adoption. We become born,
this time not in the flesh, but in the spirit. Afterward we realize the
glory of what has happened and we are grateful, but as a babe we cannot function
on our own. We realize that we are plugged into God, but we also
realize we are powerless.
Perry Stone in Where Are the Weapons of the Mighty Men Hung
goes one step further.
He compares water baptism as a covenant sign of new
birth to circumcision as a covenant sign of the Old Testament. He
illustrates this belief by mentioning a minister in India who baptizes all
converts immediately after confession of belief in Jesus Christ as savior.
Upon water immersion in the river, many manifest demons which flee, leaving the
new converts delivered, changed,
and truly a new person in Jesus Christ.
www.perrystone.org (1-888-21-BREAD)
(This reminds us of the story of a newly baptized fellow who came out of the
river with his tattoos missing/washed away by God.)
Romans 6 says, "We were therefore buried with Him through
baptism (of
water) into death."
This scriptural reality of being dead to our human nature takes a
lifetime of imprinting into our psyche.
If we are truly dead, then our
buttons do not get pushed. Our past hurts do not overwhelm us to the
degree they did in the past. We are less and less co-dependent. We are
more and more autonomous.
We are more and more safe being alone without
having to check in with a safe person. We are more and more able to
forgive and forget, (but always keeping ourselves safe from persons dangerous to
ourselves and our families). We act out less and less, not hurting
ourselves or others, as we did in the past.
We laugh more and cry less.
Derek Prince in they Shall Expel Demons contends that
one needs to be water baptized as an adult;
that infant baptism is insufficient
to ward off demons and heavenly evil daimons.
www.derekprince.com
Benny Hinn teaches from Exodus 14 that Moses' with the
Jewish remnant passing through the Red sea symbolized or actualized a baptism of
water and spirit. The water is obvious. The cloud was before and
after the Hebrew people.
Benny contends that they passed through the
cloud, which he believes was a baptism in the Holy Spirit.

David H Stern in Jewish New Testament Commentary notes
that "the Baptist" was added to the name John.
"Baptizein" in Greek
means to dip, soak, immerse into a liquid so that it takes on the qualities of
the solution,
for example: cloth in dye, or leather in tanning solution.
Thus, those who are baptized into Christ take on His nature;
our impurities are
washed away; we are restored to a right relationship to God.
A 77 year old lady at a Benny Hinn Singapore 2005 healing
service shared what God spoke to her.
"If you give Me your sins, I give
you salvation. If you give to Me your sicknesses, I give to you healing."
Water baptism is an outward sign of the inward act of God, the washing away of
sin.
Water baptism is also an act of obedience. Jesus, Himself, set
the example for us to follow.
Nonetheless, let us not fail to give Jesus
our sins and also our infirmities. (The 77 year old lady was cured of
asthma.)
AUDIO-CD-DVD
David Ravenhill shares a unique way to view water
baptism/salvation/the cross. The front of the cross is our salvation in
Christ Jesus. The back of the cross is our redemption by Christ as an
offering back to God without the sin.
This is a "back to the future"
approach, where at long last Father God has us the way He intended us to be from
the beginning of creation, perfect and wonderful in His sight, His awesome sons,
His delightful children.

It's very important to remember (renew) one's...baptism...
I, _________________ who through the tender mercy
of the Eternal Father
was privileged
to be baptized "in
the name of the Lord Jesus" (Acts 19:5)
and thus to share in the dignity of His divine Son-ship,
wish now in the presence of this same loving Father and
of his only-begotten Son
(Jesus Christ)
to renew in all sincerity the promises... solemnly made
at the time of my
holy Baptism.
I, therefore, now do once again RENOUNCE
Satan;
I
renounce
all his works; I
renounce
all his allurements.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth.
I BELIEVE in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, Who
was born into this world, suffered and died for
my sins and rose again.
(Right now I confess these sins:______________________ & receive Your forgiveness. Thank You.)
I believe in You Holy Spirit..J (and) Jesus'
holy...church (His bride/body on earth),...forgiveness of sins, resurrection of
the body & life ever-lasting.
Having been buried with Christ unto death and
raised up with Him unto a new life,
I promise to live no longer for myself or for that world
which is the enemy of God
but for Him (Jesus Christ, Messiah) Who died for me and
rose again,
serving God, (His and) my heavenly Father, faithfully and unto
death...
Taught by our Savior's command and formed by the Word of
God,
I now dare to say, 'Our Father, Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in
heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
(the) evil (one).' Amen.

so this last whisper/prayer/insertion is especially
significant when tradition is

it can be said in private by a parent/relative or later

The Person with the greater

Emerson gives his personal testimony + his understanding that there needs to
be 3 water immersions (baptisms),
in the name of the Father, the Son, AND the Holy
Spirit. Read chapter 4 The Reformation of Baptism for clarity.
Emerson contends that salvation is our heritage upon repentance and request,
but that it is water baptism that allows one
to be born-again (immersed)
into Christ. The early Catholic and Greek Orthodox church practiced 3
immersions with 3 invocations. Each immersion/invocation
affects an individual's soul, body, and/or mind and it's relationship with
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:18 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations;

Chapter 16 Spirits of the Occult
references the need to renounce occult
activities and to use the Catholic infant/convert water baptismal rite as
a format/template. This includes 1st in the name of
Father God, 2nd in the name of Jesus Christ and 3rd in the name of the Holy
Spirit, renouncing,
(1) Satan, (2) all spiritual forces of
wickedness, (3) all evil powers, and
(4) all sinful desires;
(5th) it includes accepting Jesus
Christ as savior.
Chapter 17 Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA) adds that a
SRA person being ministered to needs to repeat this rite/prayer/declaration THREE times
(3x) in order to break any seals/legal strongholds
(which may have come from one's own invitation or from dedication to
Satan by another). A common in utero/womb seal is a spirit
of rejection that became lodged in him/her when the parent did not want the
child and contemplated/ attempted abortion.
Subsequently the
priest/minister/rabbi can pray:
"In the name of Jesus Christ, I break every
seal of Satan.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
I set you free by the double
edged sword of the Holy Spirit."
(To break and dissolve
all satanic seals, repeat the following paragraph
3
times in honor of the Holy Trinity
because satanic seals are placed 3 times
to blaspheme the Holy Trinity.)
In the honor of the Holy Trinity and in the holy name of Jesus:

desires, hereditary seals (known and unknown) and every dysfunction and
disease from any evil/wrong/misguided source including my own mistakes and sins.
I sever the transmission of any and all satanic vows, pacts, spiritual
bonds, soul ties, and satanic works.
I break and dissolve
any and all links and effects of links with: astrologers; bohmos; channelers;

The HISTORY of HOW SPRINKLING REPLACED IMMERSION as a BAPTISMAL FORM
http://searchforbiblicaltruth.com/library/text/carl/HowSprinklingReplacedImmersionAsBatismalForm.pdf
"It is commonly known that baptism
originally involved the total immersion of the body in water.
In fact, the Greek
term baptizo means to immerse...The privilege of being baptized was to be given (mainly) only to those who
believed in Christ, repented of his/her sins (being sorry, and pledging to turn
away from sin), and orally confessed that he/she believed Jesus to be the Son of
God (Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:8-10)...
Baptism was eventually changed from its original form
and came to involve having a little water sprinkled or poured on ones head. 2 reasons brought about this
change. The 1st was the practice of waiting until late in life to accept baptism
so that one could die very soon thereafter before having amassed a big load of
sins. By waiting so late, some risked dying before getting to a pool of water
sufficient for a total immersion.
As a compromise, the practice of sprinkling began to occur...This was in fact
referred to as “clinical” baptism, and was considered suspect by many,
especially in North Africa.
As an example, Emperor Constantine, in 337 was baptized on his deathbed by
Eusebius of Nicomedia...A 2nd reason was the beginning of baptizing infants, something neither commanded
nor illustrated in the New Testament. There probably began to be occasional
baptisms of infants in the late 2nd
century, but it did not gain wide acceptance until the time of Augustine (AD
354-430). Augustine took the position that infants inherit the sin of Adam and
Eve, and therefore are born sinners and should be baptized soon after their
birth. The opposing view, championed by Pelagius (415), claimed infants are born
without sin, and become sinners when they are able to understand right and wrong
and choose wrong. At that point, they should be baptized...Augustine convinced
the bulk of the church to accept his view.”

Chapter #1 (edited) -
Why do we deny the power that we
carry in Jesus? Why are we so afraid
to talk about the devil, expose him,
or even talk about spiritual
warfare? We act like we are
committing blasphemy against the
Holy Spirit & walk on eggshells,
as if we, the Church, have committed
the ultimate sin...
Do you really think that if you
do not expose the devil or talk
about spiritual warfare,
the enemy will not mess with
you? Think again.
Let us wake up and be the true
Church of Jesus Christ: armed
and dangerous...
My complete testimony
appears in
Out of the Devil’s Cauldron...
He put the pieces of my
fragmented life back
together.
He took a great mess and
made it His
masterpiece...
God always gives us
beauty for ashes...
My descent into
witchcraft,
however, began
innocently.
Like any other
little boy
living in the
South Bronx of
the 1960s...
One day, as
my friend
and I broke
window after
window, time
passing
quickly, an
eerie sense
overtook me.
I felt a
heavy
presence but
did not know
what it was
and tried to
shake it
off.
Suddenly,
something
hit my feet,
and I
stooped down
to find a
colorful
necklace on
the ground.
I did not
realize it
then, but
that
necklace,
which
resembled
Native
American
art,
was my
first
encounter
with the
dark side. A
short time
later,
the
necklace,
which was
connected to
an
unspeakable
evil, would
steal my
childhood.
Months
later, I was
on my way to
see a
witch...
Given my
demonic
past...I
am so
thankful
to Jesus
for
my
water
baptism
as a new
believer
in
Him...
My
mind
went
back
to a
distant
day,
to
the
unholy
baptism
I
was
subjected
to
as
a
little
boy
just
a
few
months
after
finding
the strange necklace on the broken lot. On that day, the scene was very different. Instead of a church full of praising saints,
I walked into a dingy apartment filled with demons. Instead of the holy waters of baptism, I experienced an herbal bath with demonic chanting in the background. My aunt had persuaded my mother to go for a tarot card reading. I ended up in the crossfire. The medium singled me out as her demonic protégé. Before my mother and I knew what was happening, I was being ushered into the dark side. My discipleship with the devil would last 25 years.
A Dark Deception
No longer that innocent little boy who threw rocks at vacant windows, I had grown into
a tall young man who dressed
all in black (or white if the spirits called for it) and who
strode through the streets of the Bronx with a proud swagger. Seeing people recognize me and hurry inside their doorways, not wanting to make eye contact with me,
the devil’s son,
gave me a secret thrill. I was handpicked by the devil himself to be a high priest in the demonic realm. The priesthood ceremony took place one night in the basement of my aunt’s house. At 5 minutes to midnight, the devil showed up to collect the debt on his contract. The ritual lasted into the wee hours of the night.
The next morning, when I woke up on the basement floor, I was no longer John Ramirez. As a general in Satan’s kingdom, I was ordered to curse and control regions, do blood rituals and basically bring hell to earth (the opposite of bringing the kingdom of God to earth).
I was also an evangelist for the dark side, recruiting any gullible soul I could find. My favorite targets were weak Christians...until an October night changed my life forever, in a larger-than-life dream that would lead me on the right path to eternity. It was a dream that God used to show me He
was bigger and more powerful than anything I had served for 25
years in the world of witchcraft...
After waking up from that vivid dream, I cried out to God, saying, 'You are real.
You do love me. Despite everything I said against You, how I mocked You and laughed
at Your Church, how I ridiculed Christians, trying to break their faith. In spite of all this,
You still love me. Jesus, I give my life to You. I will serve You instead of the demons.
You will be Lord over my life. You are the true God.' Then I took out a piece of paper, marking the date in 1999, and wrote a vow to the Lord promising to serve Him
and to be fully surrendered to His will for the rest of my life. Jesus Christ had delivered me from witchcraft. Never again to return."

Burton Russell, on page 101 we find
this quote: 'Until about A.D. 200, baptism was often preceded by a rite of
exorcism.
Beginning about 200, the exorcism and formal renunciation of satan were
incorporated into the baptismal rite. You may view the original quote here.
In the book, Possession and Exorcism in the New Testament and Early
Christianity...
by Erik Sorensen, on page 200 we find the following: In 258 AD the
'7th Counsel
of Carthage viewed exorcism as a preliminary step toward the re-baptism of
heretics. Exorcism also appears before baptism in the Apostolic Tradition.'
Mention is also made of the following: 'In the early 3rd century, East Syrian
Acts of Thomas where exorcism takes place before the baptismal 'sealing'.'How much of a difference do you think it would make if the modern Church did
this?
Can you imagine what it would be like if we ensured the demons were out
of new Believers as we embraced them into the Body of Christ...If we don't cast
them out, then they hang around messing up people's lives, promoting division
and divorce, pride and arrogance, sickness & infirmity.
We
can try to counsel the folks, or perhaps drug them into zombies
so they can't
act out." (Note: Roman Catholic has this briefly in annual Easter liturgy and
infant baptism liturgy)...
Jesuits do an annual spiritual retreat which involves a (spiritual) house
cleaning of anything they may have picked up during the past year. Sounds like
an extremely
wise thing to do.
I choose repentance & restoration over pride and
justification."

http://www.revivalschool.com/healing.html - "Born in 1859 into
poverty, Smith Wigglesworth was converted by the Methodists at eight
years of age. Even then, he was hungry for God and hungry for souls. He was in
the choir of the local Episcopal church. 'When most of the boys in the choir
were 12 years of age they had to be confirmed by the bishop. I was not 12,
but between 9 and 10, when the bishop laid his hands on me. I can remember that
as he imposed his hands I had a similar experience to the one I had 40 years
later when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. My whole body was filled with the
consciousness of God's presence, a consciousness that remained with me for days.
After the confirmation service all the other boys were swearing and quarreling.
I wondered what had made the difference between them & me.'
(Stanley Frodsham, 'Smith Wigglesworth, Apostle of Faith', pg 13. - Most of the following
quotes are also aken from this excellent book).
Later, Wigglesworth was
fully-immersed in water by
the Baptists...
Smith Wigglesworth: 'I had the grounding in Bible teaching among the Plymouth
Brethren. I marched under the blood and fire banner of the Salvation Army,
learning to win souls in the open air. I received the second blessing of
sanctification and a clean heart under the teaching of Reader Harris and the
Pentecostal League. I claimed the gift of the Holy Spirit by faith as I waited
ten days before the Lord. But in Sunderland, in 1907, I knelt before God and had
an Acts 2:4 experience.' (Pg 119). He described this experience as follows: 'She
[Mrs Boddy, a minister's wife] laid her hands on me and then had to go out of
the room. The fire fell. It was a wonderful time as I was there with God alone.
He bathed me in power. I was conscience of the cleansing of the precious blood,
& I cried out: "Clean! Clean! Clean." I was filled with the joy of the
consciousness of the cleansing. I was given a vision in which I saw the Lord
Jesus Christ. I beheld the empty cross, & I saw Him exalted at the right hand
of God the Father. I could speak no longer in English, but I began to
praise Him in other tongues as the Spirit of God gave me utterance. I
knew then, although I might have received anointings previously, that now,
at
last, I had received the real Baptism in the Holy Spirit as they received on
the day of Pentecost.' (Pg 44)...
After this experience, there was no stopping Smith Wigglesworth. He was a flame
for God, and the fire fell wherever he went. He said: 'I believe God's
ministers are to be flames of fire. Nothing less than flames. Nothing less
than mighty instruments, with burning messages, with hearts full of love.
They must have a DEPTH OF CONSECRATION, that God has taken full charge of the
body, & it exists only that it may manifest the Glory of God. A Baptism into death
in which the person is purified and energized."

"If you are you are letting a crucified
(dead) man (your old nature) tell you what to do, you need to be (water)
baptized...When the old man comes and tries to tell you what you should do,
you tell him that you have been crucified with Christ. You tell him that you
have been buried and crucified and he has no right to try to control my life...2nd
Corinthians 5:17.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are new... This is a fact (spiritual truth) that happens over 2000 years ago before you
were born. This is something you don't do. This is something Jesus did. There is
a difference. This is something you have legally in Christ and what
you have spiritual in Christ. You can have something legally in the
spiritual realm. You can have something and you are not experiencing it.
How many know that you are healed by his strips 2000 years ago? How many know
that this is already done? But there are still many believers that are
struggling with sickness. Why? You must by faith appropriate what Jesus did.
The devil will still try to put curses on your life.
Unless you rise up in
the name of Jesus and say devil I break this curse. Unless you
say devil you
have no legal right to put a generation curse on my life. My curse was taken by
Jesus...You can have something legally yours. The devil has no legal right to
take something of yours. He has no legal right to put sickness on your body
unless you sin. By his strips you are healed. There is a difference between
experiencing what Jesus did and having it legally. Legally you can have a
million dollars that somebody left you. But unless you go get it and claim it
you will never experience it. You have to go get it and claim it. You must
understand this revelation. What I want to show you is: Jesus was crucified.
Your old man was crucified Jesus was buried. Your old man was buried.
Jesus was raised up again. You were raised up with him. Jesus ascended. You
ascended with him. Ephesians chapter 2:5-6. And
hath raised us up together and has made us sat
together in high places. Jesus ascended."

2.2 THE CONCEPTS of SPIRITUAL WARFARE and DELIVERANCE -
"
Wink
notes36 deliverance was considered common practice in the
early Church. (Water and/or Holy Spirit) Baptism itself was an
entry-deliverance, freeing the initiates from the delusional system that had
previously held them in bondage. In the time of the early (Judeo-Christian)
Church, deliverance was not, a rare and extreme intervention. It was the
indispensable prerequisite for getting a 'new mind' (metanoia).
Jesus’ teaching itself is a kind of deliverance, a cleansing of the mind of the
misinformation that enslaves people to the Powers of Darkness. Scripture warns
Christians not to fall into the snare of the Devil.
Apostle Paul wrote to
warn believers about the danger of being ignorant of Satan’s schemes (II
Corinthians 11)."

do we really believe it is still that powerful today?
We say, 'God, we put the blood of Jesus on every sin in our family

We pray it, but do we really believe it? I believe this story is
direct proof of
that truth.
We must believe that Jesus
wants to & can remove every sin &
wound among us all the way back to the original sin.
That is exactly what happened that day to the Israelites. It is what
enabled them to take possession of their promised land. 'The priests that bare

"The dedication of the Woodworth-Etter Tabernacle (replacing her tent). The 1st general public opening of the Etter Tabernacle was Sunday, May 19, 1918. At the 1st baptismal service, just over the baptistery, Jesus was seen on a white horse, & a band of angels with him. There were several messages spoken in other tongues and interpreted, expressing God’s approval, & giving instruction to, & prophecies concerning the various ones baptized. The mode of baptism is in the Name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. God is healing, converting, baptizing in the Holy Spirit and blessing.
He is also sending his power in answer to the prayer of faith going up from this place to help
those who are at a great distance in distress. A woman about 50 years old was in an unsaved condition,
and was very bad with paralysis. The doctor had given her up. She was in bed. One side was paralyzed.
She began to read a bill about Sister Etter’s meetings. A part of the book Signs & Wonders, was read to her. People prayed for her. She had them write to Sister Etter for a handkerchief. After she got it she got up & was converted the next night. In about 2 weeks she was immersed in water, danced in the Spirit, & fell under the power, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and is still pressing on for God.”

(Adult baptism is typically step #2. Life long 'sanctification' typically
begins with step #3 when we ask Jesus to baptize us with His Holy Spirit.
In Catholicism, this is called confirmation. The baptism of the Holy
Spirit typically gives us gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit, at least as baby
seeds which will mature as we recognize and use them. More important is
our intimacy/relationship with the Trinity and our frequency of worship and
romancing of + praise to Him.)

Each human needs to be "born again" into God's kingdom.
Ferrell, L. Emerson Immersed in Him

Emerson contends that salvation is our heritage upon repentance and request,
but that it is water baptism [that parallels the breaking-of-water
(amniotic fluid/birth)] that allows one to be born-again (immersed) into (the
mind and kingdom of) Christ. "Those who are 'born into Christ' must be
baptized into the (triune) Godhead to complete the transition designed and
modeled by Jesus Christ"...One can have a legal family or marriage and yet be
emotionally, financially, & socially divorced from it due to a lack of
relationship. Likewise, those of us who have NO relationship with the
Trinity may be in danger of not having a passport to heaven (eternal life).
Consider a seed. We or God plants it, but if it is never watered and
fertilized, it dies. Relationships (social & spiritual) tend to be like that.
They need DAILY tending.
A newborn baby needs care. Every relationship needs pampering. Baby
monkeys will die without love. Even God wants/covets/needs our love.
Love is a 2 way street. We must DAILY chase God until He catches us, so
that we will be over-filled with Holy Spirit oil when He comes again.
Yet, the contract/deed/passport/ticket to heaven must be obtained TODAY.
Prequalification is needed & does NOT reside in our church
memberships/degrees/certificates. Sometimes spiritual credentials are
evidenced in the gifts in which we walk AND the fruit (peace, love, joy,
kindness, mercy) in which we operate.
If our life does NOT line up with
the example of Jesus, then we may need to read Emerson's book + realign ourselves to
Christ's Word and NOT rely on the church's doctrine or pastor's word.
We can't contradict Peter at the pearly gate and insist, "My pastor
(denomination) said I could
get in!"
Genesis 1:2 Harkavy The (Holy) Spirit of God moved upon (hovered
over/incubated/brooded over/ fertilized/hatched) the face of the (Living) waters
(of God/River of Life/Jesus).
Emerson explains, "Our (human) spirits are awakened through Holy Ghost
impartation.
The womb is Jesus & the (fetus'/spirit man's) birth (entrance
into God's spiritual kingdom) culminates in Christ consciousness (& empowerment)."
[Apparently we can abort God's plan & our spiritual birth by failing to have our
spiritual fetus (baptized) immersed in the Father for the forgiveness of sins,
immersed in Jesus as our Messiah, and immersed in the Holy Spirit Who equips us
for defense and war. Even so, ongoing DAILY maturity is needed for any
fetus (physical or spiritual) & does NOT stop at birth.]

Thus Saith God's Word - Scripture Aids for Counseling
MD Productions, Greensboro, North Carolina -
In section Second Coming, author cites the
Matthew 25:1-13 story of 10 maidens waiting for
bridegroom, where 5 had extra oil but 5 did not.
The extra oil symbolizes the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Dorothy. 5
born again virgins did have oil
(the Holy Spirit & adult water baptism), but
not extra oil. 5 of the 10 virgins were refused by the bridegroom.

Author indicates that the convert to Judiasm MUST renounce Christ as Messiah.
This would NOT be true for a Messianic Jew, who embraces the Trinity, as
understood by both Catholics and Protestants.

#2-Infilling Power to Fulfill My Destriny on Earth

- (After Jesus' resurrection)
22He
breathed on them & said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
23
If you forgive anyo his sins, they are forgiven. If you withhold
forgiveness from anyone, it is withheld.”
(By refusing to forgive, it damages
the offender + also the victim.
It is sin NOT to forgive, but also
gives satan a legal ground to bring trouble against us, as with Job.)
(Although Jesus & His desciples received the water baptim of John
for the forgiveness of sins, humankind could NOT receive
eternal life via a an initial deposit of the Holy Spirit until it (Holy
Spirit) became available AFTER Messiah our sacrificlal Lamb returned to
earth, so God (as invisible Spirit) could legally spiritually unite
with our human spirit & we could be legally adopted by God & thus receive
Heavenly Citizenship.
Salvation is typically a prior spiritual
sacrament, whereas Holy Spirit baptism is typically
(but not always) a 2nd sacrament (clarified in the book of
Acts).
Holy Spirit baptism is mainly God imparting a
layer of Himself into our human soul.
Holy Spirit leaves an identical
copy of Himself inside us. Our soul is multilayered, like a rolladex.
Kat Kerr Ministry clarifies this spiritual insight. Can I lose my
salvation/eternal-life &
end up permanently separated from God?
Matthew 13:32 + Mark 3:29 + Luke 12:10 (KJV)
Whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man (Jesus Christ), it shall be forgiven him,
but to him that blasphemes against the Holy Ghost, it shall NOT be forgiven
Matthew 26:24 -
"It had been good for that man if he had not been born."

Benny says yes and reminds us of King Saul who lost God's Holy Spirit, Who was
replaced with an evil tormenting spirit. Part of the problem is
self-importance. [Remember, Lucifer (who was exalted above all heavenly
host by God Himself) became self-important, resulting in his permanent eviction
from heaven...Benny continually reminds us that God's Holy Spirit is NOT an it, but a person,
a personality of God,
equal with God in the Trinity.]

- Holy Spirit is the outer-court/gate/door-way to the inner court (Jesus) to
the holy of holies (God).
Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are separate persons,
spiritual equals (at least in worship, respect and honor)

There is great danger in daily neglect of fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit.
The human spirit is sustained by the breath of the Holy Spirit; Holy Spirit
is man's medical respirator/lungs for the spirit man.
God's holy Words are unprofitable without the Holy Spirit giving them
life/breath/revelation.
God requires that we radically pursue deeper
levels of intimacy with Him, daily/weekly/monthly/yearly 'til death.

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit - The Master Key to a Deeper Walk
Deliverance
Carrin, Charles BURIED WITH CHRIST IN BAPTIST AND DELIVERED
FROM EVIL
http://www.charlescarrinministries.com/gentleconquest/gc2007/0601.html -
Boynton Beach, Florida, USA - "Baptism is the 'water of separation' intended to be God’s
dividing line between the old
life of demonic oppression and spiritual freedom in Christ.
This is not
to be confused with the idea of 'baptismal regeneration'...
During baptism at Christ the Rock...people experienced the same manifestations
of deliverance as are described in the ministry of Jesus. This reaction was not
voluntary on their part or a contrived response to Perry’s teaching.
It was real.
In that moment of being
"buried with Christ", Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12, demonic strongholds were
broken and demons were forced out in a visible, obvious display.
Nearly half-an-hour of noisy, thrashing took place in the tank before the
deliverances were complete.
But, the 3 individuals rose from the water free of
their former oppressors.
Mark 1:23,26. 5:7; 9:26. Luke 8:8,28. Acts 8:7...
A young man in the ocean here in Florida...was instantly struck with the power
of God & fell rigidly onto the water, his body electrified.
Without my
touching him, in a 'series' of immersions...
David Rhea’s baptism at the Brownsville revival...The power of God electrified
the water, knocked the 2 pastors administering baptism to the sides of the pool,
and left David stunned, floating comatose on the surface.
Men rushed into the
water and carried him out. Such is the power of God intended for baptism."
Hell has no curse Jesus cannot break. He came 'to set the prisoners free.' Luke
4:18.
No matter what the nature of your crisis, you
can be free.
Pray, fast, have
genuine believers anoint you with oil in the Name of the Lord, lay hands on you,
and command the (evil) trespasser (demon) to go. Mark 6:13, James 5:14, Mark
16:17, Don't quit until it's done.
When the devil leaves and slams the door,
you will know you have won. The
curse will be broken...
If you have reason to question the validity of your baptism, fear your motive at
the time was insincere or prompted merely to please others, do not hesitate to
receive an authentic baptism. You may have been Christened as an infant or
acquired some other substitute for actual baptism...
Dedications cannot become replacements for baptism in which you are truly
'buried with Christ'.
Experience the 'waters of separation' and present yourself to the Holy Spirit
for His impartation of miraculous gifts.
Receive believers’ baptism & through
it make yourself a candidate for deliverance."
(The above testifies as to the spiritual significance of adult baptism, although
such a demonic manifestation/display is NOT typical nor encouraged nor
necessary.)

water baptism healed a

"In the early (Catholic), on the vigil of Easter, those to be baptized
stood before the community of believers & declared that they renounced Satan
& all his works and all of his empty promises...
It is part of the (current catholic infant/adult) baptismal rite renewed
publicly every year (during Mass)."
Catholic catechism says that "in a simple form, exorcism is performed at the
celebration of baptism (liturgy)."

The Hebrews crossing the Red Sea were baptized in such a
manner that all their soul wounds were removed/healed.
At the time of this crossing (or before, during Passover) the entire fleeing
nation was healed physically.
Having NO soul wounds in common with those living in Israel, allowed them to
cross the Jordan River & capture the land of Israel.
Katie mentors us on how to spiritually cross our rivers (even taking our loved
ones with us) in order to eradicate soul wounds.
Denominational Concerns
Jesus Is Lord church
http://www.thebereans.net/prof-onep.shtml -
"The roots of Oneness Pentecostalism can be traced in the
North American Pentecostal movement during the early 1900s. During a camp
meeting in Arroyo Seco, California in the late 1913 or early 1914 conducted by
the Assemblies of God (AG), 1 minister by the name of John G. Scheppe revealed
that during his night of meditation it was revealed to him that baptism must
be done "in the name of
Jesus only" & not 'in the name of the: Father, Son, & Holy
Spirit.' Several AG ministers including R.E McAlister, Frank J. Ewart, Glenn
A. Cook, & Garfield T. Haywood, began teaching this 'new issue.' While this 'baptismal
formula' began as a friendly debate it developed into a fierce controversy
over the nature of Godhead. This 'new issue' made a rift between the AG movement
that prompted J. Roswell Flower to oppose Oneness theology & baptismal formula
in their Third General Council in 1915. In their 4th General Council in 1916,
the AG ministers adopted a 'Statement of Fundamental Truths' that forcefully
maintained the Trinity doctrine, that banned the 156 of the 585 AG ministers."
