16On the morning of the 3rd day there were peals of thunder and lightning, a heavy cloud over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled.
17Moses let (allowed/led) the people out of the camp to meet God; they stationed themselves at the foot of the mountain.
18Mount Sinai was all wrapped in smoke, for the Lord came down upon it in fire.
The smoke rose from it as though from a furnace (volcano); the whole mountain trembled violently.
19The trumpet blast grew louder and louder, while Moses was speaking and God answering him with thunder.
20When the Lord came down to the top of Mount Sinai, He summoned Moses to the top of the mountain; Moses went up to Him.
21Then the Lord told Moses, "Go down and warn the people not to break through toward the Lord in order to see Him; otherwise many of them will be struck down.
22The priests, too, who approach the Lord must sanctify themselves; else He will vent His anger upon them."
23Moses said to the Lord, "The people cannot go up to Mount Sinai, for You Yourself warned us to set limits around the mountain to make it sacred."
24The Lord repeated, "Go down now! Then come up again along with Aaron; but the priests and people must not break through to come up to the Lord, else He will vent His anger upon them."
25So Moses went down to the people and told them this.

Isaiah 6:1-8 TNAB (the call of Isaiah) 1In the year (742BC) king Uzziah died,
I (Isaiah) saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne, with the train of His garment filling the temple. 2Seraphim were stationed above; each of them had 6 wings:
with 2 they veiled their faces, with 2 they veiled their feet, and with 2 they hovered aloft.
3"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts," they cried one to the other. "All the earth is filled with His glory!"
4At the sound of that cry, the frame of the door shook and the house was filled with (glory) smoke.
5Then I said, "Woe is me, I am doomed, for I am a man of unclean lips, living among a people of unclean lips; yet, my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!"
6Then one of the seraphim flew to me, holding an ember which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
7He touched my mouth with it.
"See," he said, "now that this has touched your lips, your wickedness is removed, your sin purged."
8Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?"
"Here I am;" I said; "send me!"

Ezekiel 1 TNAB (the vision - God on the Cherubim)
1"While I was among the exiles by the river Chebar, the heavens opened, and I (Ezekiel) saw divine visions."
2On the 5th day of the month, the 5th year, that is, of King Jehoiachin's exile,
3the Word of the Lord came to the priest Ezekiel, son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar. "There the hand of the Lord came upon me.
As I looked, a stormwind came from the North (the abode of God), a huge cloud with flashing fire (enveloped in brightness), from the midst of which (the midst of the fire) something gleamed like electrum.
5Within it were figures resembling 4 living creatures that looked like this: their form was human, 6but each had 4 faces and 4 wings;
7their legs went straight down; the soles of their feet were round. (and)
They sparkled with a gleam like burnished bronze. 8Human hands were under their wings.
The wings of one touched those of another. 9Their faces (and their wings) looked out on all their 4 sides; they did not turn when they moved, but each went straight forward.
10Their faces were like this: each of the 4 had the face of a man; but on the right side was the face of a lion and on the left side the face of an ox; finally each had the face of an eagle.
11Each had 2 wings spread out above, so that they touched one another's, while the other 2 wings of each covered his body.
12(Each went straight forward; wherever the spirit wished to go, there they went; they did not turn when they moved.)
13In among the living creatures something like burning coals of fire could be seen; they seemed like torches, moving to and fro among the living creatures. The fire gleamed; from it came forth flashes of lightning. 14Living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.
15As I looked at the living creatures, I saw wheels on the ground, one beside each of the 4 living creatures. 16The wheels had the sparkling appearance of chrysolite, & all 4 of them looked the same- they were constructed as though one wheel were within another.
17They could move in any of the 4directions they faced, without veering as they moved.
18The 4 of them had rims. I saw that their rims were full of eyes all around.
19When the living creatures moved, the wheels moved with them; when the living creatures were raised from the ground, the wheels also were raised.
20Whereever the spirit wished to go, there the wheels went; they were raised together with the living creatures, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
21When those went, these went; when those stood, these stood: and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
22Over the heads of the living creatures, something like a firmament would be seen, something like glittering crystal, stretched straight out above their heads.
23Beneath the firmament their wings were stretched out, one toward the other. (Each of them had 2 covering his body.)
24Then I heard the sound of their wings, like the roaring of mighty waters, like the voice of the Almighty.
When they moved, the sound of the tumult was when they stood still, they lowered their wings.)
25A voice came from above the firmament that was under their heads; whenever they stood, they let down their wings.
26Above the firmament over their heads something like a throne could be seen, looking like sapphire. Upon it was seated, up above, one Who had the appearance of a man.
27Upward from what resembled His waist I saw what gleamed like electrum; downward from what resembled His waist I saw what looked like fire; He was surrounded with splendor.
28Like the (rain)-bow which appears in the clouds on a rainy day was the splendor that surrounded Him.
Such was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

"When Isaac told Esau to go into the wild to hunt for a wild animal so he could bless him, Jacob, in tandem with his mother, devised a most devious plan to steal the blessing from unsuspecting Esau. The scheme they concocted was the most devious case of 'Identity Theft' ever mentioned in Scripture. I do not have the space to focus on the scheme they concocted, except to say it involved Jacob pretending to be Esau in front of his father who was blind for all practical purposes. When Esau discovered that his scheming brother had supplanted him, a spirit of murder came upon him. When Jacob saw that his life was in danger he fled into exile. On his way to Syria to live with his uncle Laban, he slept at a place called Luz. While he was sleeping, he dreamed of a ladder that reached up to Heaven. He saw angels ascending and descending on this ladder. At the top of the ladder, he saw the Lord. God spoke to him. He told him that He would bless him and his descendants with the land he was sleeping on. When Jacob 'woke up', he was deeply moved and made a very interesting statement. When Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, 'Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it.' (Genesis 28:16). When Jacob woke-up he said, 'The Lord is in this place and "I" did not know it.' Jacob confessed that he couldn’t really discern the Lord’s presence when the 'I' program was active in him. But why did the Lord wait until he was asleep before He appeared to him? The reason is staggeringly simple:

God uses dreams while people sleep to bypass demonic programming that makes it difficult for most Christians to hear from God while they are awake. God uses dreams to speak to our 'true self,' because when many of us are awake, the demonic 'I' program is very active. The Lord told me that at the City of Luz (later known as Bethel)
God put Jacob to sleep so He could speak to 'Israel' who was still trapped in Jacob.
The prophecies that Jacob thought were his actually belonged to 'Israel.'
The name 'Jacob' represented the supplanting nature of the flesh, while the name 'Israel' represented the life-giving divine nature of God. When he became Israel, he began to manifest the prophecy that God gave to his mother before he was born. He suddenly became greater in spiritual stature than his elder brother. While he remained 'Jacob,'
Esau had the power to place him in exile but as soon as he became 'Israel,' Esau was placed in total subjection.
This is what coming into (spiritual God) 'consciousness' will do for millions of Christians around the world who have endured perennial defeat at the hands of the enemy."

Numbers 12:6 KJVer - He said, "Hear now My words, 'If there be a prophet among you,
I the Lord will make Myself known to him in a vision and will speak to him in a dream.'"

John 16:14-15 He (the Holy Spirit) shall glorify Me (Jesus), for He shall receive of Mine and shall show it to you. All things that the Father has are mine. Therefore I said that He (the Holy Spirit) shall take of Mine and shall SHOW it to you.

B - Of Holy Angels Seen by Saint Brendan - In ignorance the clergy attempted to excommunicate Columba. However, they relented after listening to Saint Brendan, founder of the Birr monastery. C - Of an Angel Who Brought Help to a Brother Who Fell from the Rooftop - "'Help, help!'

D - Of Angels Descending from Heaven to Talk with the Blessed Man On one occasion at the now named Cnoc angel or Little Hill of the Angels in Iona Colum Kill was seen praying with his arms uplifted and angels flying down to converse with him.
E - Of the Descent of the Holy Spirit A 3 day visitation on the island of Hinba.
F - Of the Light that Virgno Saw over St Columba A man praying in the church was interrupted by St Columba's presence which carried with it a blinding light, so much so
that permanent injury would have occurred if he had not averted his eyes.

G - Of the Passing to the Lord of Our Holy Patron Columba St. Columba foreknew the date of his death and even delayed it a bit to reduce the sorrow of his monks. At this time he blessed Iona and its inhabitants and forbade snake venom to harm anyone on the Island. At the week of his death he sees angels come, bless, and return to heaven through the church roof. To his attendant Diormit he revealed, "My Lord Jesus Christ deigns to invite me, and I shall depart to Him, as I say, this coming midnight at His invitation. This brings to mind the TV special where blind individuals by clicking their tongues can hear echoes which tell them the location of objects. This is called echolocation. Bats and dolphins use this system. In the human, this procedure activates the visual part of the brain, even though the eyeball cannot respond. In other words, there a 2 visual sources. One is from the eyeball. One is from the ear. Additionally, there can be one from touch. What a marvelous body that God created. Spiritual vision is of course not quite the same, but the end result is superior. We read Scripture to understand God. However, if we ask God, He will send the Holy Spirit to give us spiritual knowledge/wisdom/ understanding. Spiritual insight does NOT depend on any human organ. The spiritual man inside us contains any/all spiritual info downloaded by the Holy Spirit. Thus we have human vision or spiritual vision.
Chapter 6 Third Heaven begins to admonish us to relive/meditate on those heavenly encounters that our spiritual forefathers in scripture and living spiritual mentors experienced. He also reminds us that salvation, healing, health, wealth, or heavenly visitation, is received by pursuit and not by being a couch potato. We speak it into existence - with faith; whatever God, Jesus, Moses, Elijah, etc. did, then we also need to do, NOW. We are not to wait until we return to dust. If we wait, we will throw away all the years God has given us. Our life will be a compost pile/sewer. He says to study/ memorize all those scriptures relevant to visiting angels/God/etc. Begin to compile/absorb them. Any spiritual personal experiences/healings/miracles/visions we are to continually rehearse with gratitude, both our own and others. However, little publicity has been given to the vision and prophecy he received at that time. The account of this vision was given in 1895 by an old soldier. He gave it to a writer, Wesley Bradshaw who published it. In the vision, God revealed to George Washington that 3 great perils would come upon the Republic. He was given to know that America was going through the 1st peril at that time. The old soldier who told the story of the vision said that the nation would soon see the account verified by the 2nd peril descending upon the land. We give the account here as it was reprinted in the U.S. war veteran's paper The National Tribune, in December, 1880.
The National Tribune is now The Stars and Stripes. This article was reprinted in The Stars and Stripes December 21, 1950. Here is the report of this phenomenal, and most important heavenly message for us at this hour. Wesley Bradshaw wrote: The last time I ever saw Anthony Sherman was on the 4th of July, 1859, in Independence Square. He was then 99 years old, and becoming very feeble. But though so old, his dimming eyes re-kindled as he gazed upon Independence Hall, which he came to visit once more.
Message Disclosed "Let us go into the hall," he said. "I want to tell you of an incident of Washington's life - one which no one alive knows of except myself; if you live, you will before long see it verified. Mark the prediction, you will see it verified."

There seemed to be something on his mind of more than ordinary importance. Returning just after dusk, he dispatched an orderly to the quarters of an officer, who was presently in attendance. After a preliminary conversation
of about half an hour, Washington, gazing upon his companion with that strange look of dignity which he alone could command, said to the latter:
An Uninvited Guest "I do not know whether it is owing to the anxiety of my mind, or what, but this afternoon, as I was sitting at this table engaged in preparing a dispatch, something in the apartment seemed to disturb me. Looking up,
I beheld standing opposite me a singularly beautiful being. So astonished was I, for I had given strict orders not to be disturbed, that it was some moments before I found language to inquire the cause of the visit. A 2nd, a 3rd, and even a 4th time did I repeat my question, but received no answer from my mysterious visitor except a slight raising of the eyes.
By this time I felt strange sensations spreading through me. I would have risen, but the riveted gaze of the being before me rendered volition impossible. I assayed once more to speak, but my tongue had become useless, as if paralyzed.
A new influence, mysterious, potent, irresistible, took possession of me. All I could do was to gaze steadily, vacantly at my companion.
First Great Peril - Presently I heard a voice saying, "Son of the Republic, look and learn", while at the same time my visitor extended an arm eastward. I now beheld a heavy white vapor at some distance rising fold upon fold. This gradually dissipated, and I looked upon a strange scene. Before me lay, spread out in one vast plain, all the countries of the world: Europe, Asia, Africa, and America. I saw rolling and tossing between Europe and America the billows of the Atlantic, and between Asia and America lay the Pacific. “Son of the Republic”, said the same mysterious voice as before, “look and learn.” At that moment I beheld a dark, shadowy being, like an angel, standing, or rather floating in midair, between Europe and America. Dipping water out of the ocean in the hollow of each hand, while with his left he cast some over Europe. Immediately a cloud arose from these countries, and joined in mid-ocean. For awhile it remained stationary, and then it moved slowly westward, until it enveloped America in its murky folds. Sharp flashes of lightening gleamed through it at intervals. I heard the smothered groans and cries of the American people. (This may be interpreted to have been the Revolutionary War then in progress.)
Second Great Peril - A 2nd time the angel dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it out as before. The dark cloud was then drawn back to the ocean, in whose heaving billows it sank from view.
A 3rd time I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” I cast my eyes upon America and beheld villages, towns and cities springing up one after another until the whole land from the Atlantic to the Pacific was dotted with them. Again, I heard the mysterious voice say, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.”
This time the dark shadowy angel turned his face southward.
From Africa I saw an ill-omened specter approach our land. It flitted slowly and heavily over every town and city of the latter. The inhabitants presently set themselves in battle array against each other.
As I continued looking I saw a bright angel on whose brow rested a crown of light, on which was traced the word "UNION". He was bearing the American flag. He placed the flag between the divided nation and said, “Remember, ye are brethren.” Instantly the inhabitants, casting down their weapons, became friends once more and united around the National Standard. Again I heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” At this, the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth, and blew 3 distinct blasts. Taking water from the ocean he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia, and Africa.
3rd and Most Fearful Peril - Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene. From each of these continents arose thick black clouds that were soon joined into one. Throughout this mass their gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of the cloud. I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages, towns and cities which I had seen springing up." "As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of the swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I again heard the mysterious voice saying, “Son of the Republic, look and learn.” Where the voice had ceased, the dark shadowy angel placed his trumpet once more to his mouth, and blew a long and fearful blast."
Heaven Intervenes - "Instantly a light as of 1,000 suns shone down from above me, pierced and broke into fragments the dark cloud which enveloped America. At the same moment the angel upon whose head still shown the word UNION, who bore our national flag in one hand, and a sword in the other, descended from the heavens attended by legions of white spirits. These immediately joined the inhabitants of America, who I perceived were well-nigh overcome, but who immediately taking courage again, closed up their broken ranks and renewed the battle. Again, amid the fearful noise of the conflict I heard the mysterious voice saying,” Son of the Republic, look and learn.” As the voice ceased, the shadowy angel for the last time dipped water from the ocean and sprinkled it upon America. Instantly the dark cloud rolled back, together with the armies it had brought, leaving the inhabitants of the land victorious.
Then once more, I beheld the villages, towns, and cities springing up where I had seen them before, while the bright angel, planting the azure standard he had brought in the midst of them, cried with a loud voice: “While the stars remain, and the heaven sends down dew upon the earth, so long shall the UNION last.” Taking from his brow the crown on which blazoned the word 'UNION, he placed it upon the Standard, while the people, kneeling down said, Amen.
The Interpretation The scene instantly began to fade and dissolve.
I at last saw nothing but the rising, curling vapor I at first beheld. This also disappeared.
I found myself once more gazing upon the mysterious visitor, who, in the same voice I had heard before, said, “Son of the Republic, what you have seen is thus interpreted:
3 great perils will come upon the Republic. The most fearful for her is the 3rd. But the whole world united shall not prevail against her. Let every child of the Republic learn to live for his God, his land and UNION.” With these words the vision vanished. I started from my seat and felt that I had seen a vision wherein had been shown me” the birth, progress, and destiny of the United States. “Such, my friends, the venerable narrator concluded, were the words I heard from Washington’s own lips, and America will do well to profit by them. “

Sexual fantasy is the counterfeit of what God intended us to use our imagination for. 43 "} THE DETECTION OF VISIONS FROM GOD OR SATAN
Apart from the "visions" which are the result of disease, the detection of Divine from Satanic visions depends a great deal upon knowledge of the Word of God, and the fundamental principles of His working in His children. These may be briefly stated thus:
(1) That no supernatural "vision" in any form, can be taken as of God, which requires a
condition of mental non-action, ^{note 47} or comes whilst the believer is in such a condition.
(2) That all the Holy Spirit's enlightening and illuminating vision is given when the mind is in full use, and every faculty awake to understand; i.e., the very opposite condition to that required by the working of evil spirits.
(3) That all which is of God, is in harmony with the laws of God's working as set forth in the Scriptures, e.g., 'World-wide movements' by which multitudes are to be gathered in, are not in accord with the laws of the growth of the Church of Christ as shown in:
(1) the grain of wheat (John 12: 24.); (2) the law of the Cross of Christ (Isa. 53: 10); (3) the experience of Christ;
(4) the experience of Paul (1 Cor. 4: 9-13);
(5) the "little flock" of Luke 12: 32 ;
(6) the foreshadowed end of the dispensation given in 1 Tim. 4: 1-3; 6: 20.Many a believer has left his path of 'grain of wheat multiplication,' caught by a vision of 'world-wide' sweeping in of souls, given by Satan, whose malignant hatred, and ceaseless antagonism is directed against the true seed of Jesus Christ , which in union with Him, will bruise the serpent's head. To delay the birth, (John 3: 3,5), and growth of the Holy Seed (Isa. 6: 10), is the devil's aim. To this end he will foster any widespread surface work of the believer, knowing it will not really touch his kingdom, nor hasten the full birth into the Throne-life of the conquering seed of Christ.
The safe path for believers at the close of the age is one of tenacious faith in the written Word as the sword of the Spirit, to cut the way through all the interferences and tactics of the forces of darkness, to the end.
COUNTERFEIT DREAMS
All dreams also, as well as visions, can be classed, as to their source, under three heads: (1) Divine, (2) human, or (3) Satanic, each to be known, first by the condition of the person, and second by the principles distinguishing the working of God or Satan.
If the person is under any degree of possession, no dreams at night can be said with certainty to be either from natural causes or "Divine communication," but are simply night presentations of the same character as "visions" to the mind during the day, and are the counterfeits by evil spirits of these two causes.
Passivity of brain is an essential condition for the presentation to the mind of things by evil spirits. At night the brain is passive, and whilst activity of the mind in the daytime hinders, they have their occasion at night when the passivity is more pronounced in sleep.
Believers who are fighting possession, and the regaining the use of their mental faculties in normal action, can "refuse" these night presentations by evil spirits as definitely as they refuse their workings during the day, and in due time find their complete cessation.
Dreams arising from the natural condition of the person, and attributable to purely physical causes, may be recognized as natural (1) when there is no 'possession,' and (2) when such physical causes really exist, and are not used as a cover, by deceiving spirits, to hide their workings.
Apart from the condition of the person, the principle distinguishing Divine from Satanic in relation to dreams, is in the first instance, by their import and exceptional value (Gen. 37: 5-7; Matt. 1: 20, 2: 12), and in the latter, their 'mystery,' absurdity, emptiness, folly, etc. as well as by their effects on the person. In the first, the recipient is left normal, calm, quiet, reasonable, and with an open, clear mind. In the second, elated, or dazed, confused, and unreasonable.
The presentations of evil spirits at night is frequently the cause of morning "dullness" of mind, and heaviness of spirit. The sleep has not been refreshing because of their power, through the passivity of the mind during sleep, to influence the whole being. 'Natural' sleep renews, and invigorates the faculties, and the whole system. Insomnia is,^{note
48} in a great degree, the work of evil spirits, adapting their workings to the over-wrought condition of the person, so as to hide their attacks under cover.
Believers who are open to the supernatural world should specially guard their nights by prayer, and by definite rejection of the first insidious workings of evil spirits along these lines.
How many say, 'The Lord woke me,' and place their reliance upon "revelations" given in a state of half-consciousness, when mind and will are only partially alert to discern the issues of the 'guidance' or 'revelations' given to them. Let such believers watch the results of their obedience to night-revelations, and they will find many traces of the deceitful workings of the enemy. They will find, too, how their faith is often based upon a beautiful experience given in the early hours of the morning; or, vice versa, shaken by accusations, suggestions, attacks and conflict manifestly of the evil one, instead of an intelligent reliance upon God Himself in His changeless character of faithfulness and love to His own.
All workings of the enemy at night can be made to cease by their recognition as of him, and definitely refused in the Name of the Lord,^{note
49} revoking all ground unknowingly given for such workings, in the past."

The sins of the righteous have been transferred to Satan, the originator of evil, who must bear their penalty. Thus he is made to suffer not only for his own rebellion, but for all the sins which he has caused God's people to commit. His punishment is to be far greater than that of those whom he has deceived. For some people, this is entirely a physical experience, and they wake the next morning with no memories of what was flying through their thoughts just before slumber. For others, this state occurs while they are completely aware of the relationship between mind and body—the hypnagogic state of consciousness in those moments just before the mind begins to dream—and they can feel and sense things that defy our typical, physical, corporeal existence. Suddenly from the heavens above, the Lord Jesus came, and became the head.
I heard another clap of thunder that said, 'This is My beloved bride for whom I have waited. She will come forth even tried by fire. This is she that I have loved from the beginning of time.' As I watched, my eyes suddenly turned to the far north.
I saw seemingly destruction: men and women in anguish and crying out, and buildings in destruction.
Then I heard again, the 4th Voice that said, 'Now is My wrath being poured out upon the face of the earth.'"
Regarding those remaining - "I could hear people crying. They seemed to cry as they went into caves, but the caves in the mountains opened up. They leaped into water, but the water would not drown them. There was nothing that could destroy them. They were wanting to take their lives, but they could not."

He simply stretched forth his hand in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and spoke the man’s name and the woman’s name and said, 'In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command life to come back to your bodies.' Instantaneously these 2 heathen people who had never known Jesus Christ as their Savior sat up and immediately began to praise God.

"When I was in a prayer meeting in Orlando the Holy Spirit told me to go into the next room which turned out to be a dining room. I just stood there as I wasn't quite sure what it was all about. Suddenly a light beamed down on me from above and lifted me up. The Next minute I was standing in the Old City in Jerusalem. Jesus came and we walked along the street. Then I was standing in the back of the Mosque with Jesus. I was shocked as I was always very careful to avoid the Mosque when I went to Jerusalem. This was the convent that Mother Barbara was. Mother Barbara had fled Russia with her family when she was a young girl and had brought with her a famous prophesy given in 1911 to a Russian monk. It was a prophetic word for the nations. 'I will come with you.' I said. 'No, you must go now,' Jesus responded. 'I will stay,' I said, but next minute I was back in the dining room in Orlando. "If you have had these experiences where you go away in the Spirit, you will know that it takes a while to "come back." You can't move for a while, it's like you are frozen, even your eyelids don't move. There were a group of ladies leaning over me praying in tongues.

12/12/2010 Daystar broadcast - Schneider mentions that Biblical visions can be seeing a snapshot (or video) in one's mind like a photo in one's imagination (while awake or in a dream) that the Holy Spirit drops/plops into our consciousness (onto the eyelid/above the head of a person/in the mind's eye/etc).
Thus, in this regard, a holy vision can be had/experienced by most spirit-filled Christians (especially after asking the Holy Spirit to reveal insight).

There is a very strong Muslim, Indian, Hindu community in Derby. I started to attend the local EMCF fellowship there; I would go with my now good friend Chandresh. The renewed vision of being able to walk with confidence into the presence of the king consumed me. I began to pray and worship and would be excited every time I went to bed. I expected Him to meet me. I woke up at 3.33am that night and was wondering way the Lord had not met with me in some way. I did the routine pray for the church then my family then myself it would get real late as I would be having to get up for college early. Well not much happened I somehow got into a routine of praying and mainly worshiping after college, and then waking up early in t' I started to wonder why God would not answer my prayers.
They mainly consisted of, 'You tell me what it is you want me to do and I will go and do it!' But one night I was falling asleep after doing the normal prayer and was closing my eyes but I was still awake saying, 'You can still come and meet with me.' Telling the Lord I was still awake and ready. Then suddenly something started to happen. I got scared as a wind entered the room and was hovering over me. I felt it start pouring into my chest. My mind was in full red after I realized I was frozen on the bed my arms and whole body became heavy. I could not move. I had no control over my body and I was stuck there. This unknown presence was pouring into me. I started to try and fight and struggle and I managed to say, 'No in Jesus name.' Then as soon as it came it was gone. I lay there and the presence had lifted and I had regained full control of my body. I was left wondering what had just happened. I kept thinking it must have been a demon or some thing maybe even aliens coming to take me away with them.
His Presence came again
The next day I did my prayers and worship and went to bed as normal I awoke at 2am and did my normal chat with the Lord until about 3am. I started to get tired and wonder why I was even praying at this crazy time of night..
I lay there on the bed once again just waiting for the Lord, then suddenly the liquid presence came it was pouring all over me. I could not move and was once again thinking the devil had come to attack me. I started to fight and as soon as I did it lifted and was gone again. I begun to really complain to the Lord about way the enemy was attacking me...This went on for close to 2 weeks and one morning after my early morning "attack" the Lord put a verse in my mind, I looked it up it was Matthew 7 verse 7 and what really spoke out to me, It was about if I ask for bread in His name, I (Jesus) will not give you a stone but give you good gifts. It was like I heard the voice of God in my heart saying, "It’s ME!" I felt kind of silly that I had been praying and asking him to come and every time He did come I fought him as if he was a demon or something unknown to me. This was going to change. That day I went and did my studies at college and ran home ready to pray. I was really excited that I was going to hear the voice of God that night. I could hardly sleep...I opened my eyes it was 3.00am .I was ready. I lay there with my hands up in bed saying, 'I’m ready, let’s go.' I waited just worshiping the Lord under my breath. I would pray sometimes in silence as I did not want to awake my family. As I lay there, suddenly it started. I felt that warm liquid thick wind start moving around me and hit me in my chest. My mind was going crazy again saying, 'This is not God,' but I was fighting myself saying in one breath, 'Hold on longer' and with the next breath, 'I cannot move.' As I lay there, trying my best not to say anything just trying to hold on as long as I could. The wind started to move up my chest and started to move around my head. It’s something very hard to describe but it started to pour into every part of me, my ears, nose, mouth, eyes and I started to hear a great noise. There was a great swirling, like breaking though some thing and each time it would get louder and louder. "No." I shouted, and as soon as I did, the Presence left me. I looked at the clock; it was as if time stood still whenever this presence would come. I lay there all night after that and was very tired all day at college. I was disappointed, with myself for not holding on longer than I had. A few nights passed and nothing happened, praying without any encounters. It was very draining, at least when whenever the Presence came I would not feel tired the next day. The Presence of God was always renewing and refreshing. The days turned to weeks and I was coming to the point of giving up I was still dreaming like crazy but I was looking for the encounter, something new. I would still wake up at 3am. Sometimes I would just grunt a prayer like, "Yeah, I’m sure you'r going to come, I guess not. I will try again later." As my frustration snowballed I was really hungry for anything from the Lord. I once again woke up in the early hours and lay there grumbling at the Lord and I turned to try and go back to sleep the wind came back into the room and began to pour into my chest the wind moved fast, it was like warm oil. Something real, it started to pour all over my face, in my ears, mouth, and eyes, going into my mind the noise was like a great sound that got louder and louder, breaking into a new level and faster and faster. I thought I might die if this continued. I kept telling myself to hold on, keep holding on.
It was getting too much for me once again. Just as I was going to pull out, there was a great flash, and in an Instance I was moving at high speed flying on the back of an Angel, going down the streets of Derby. The speed we were traveling was faster than anything I had ever experienced. Then we started to move higher up, and we got so high, we entered another realm, some place. I felt the wind, I could touch it, taste it. We stopped and the Angel led me up a mountain, talking with me and showed me a temple of worship for the nations. An incredible site! I opened my eyes and I was back in bed looking at the clock: 3.33am. It was like time had frozen. I asked myself, 'Wow what was that?' I was so excited I did not understand what had happened but I knew it was the Lord. I awoke that morning saying to myself, 'I know God!' I had tasted something of God and it was good. I was desperate to get home and pray and worship and meet with the Lord. I started to have nightly encounters with the Holy Spirit. Each time I held on I would be taken somewhere or shown some thing.
The Cross - I was there
Another time I was praying and asking the Lord to show Himself to me, and thanking Him for what was coming. As I closed my eyes it started, His spirit came. I was taken to a certain place. The Lord allowed me to have a full vision of the time before he went on the cross, it was a very vivid vision. It began with darkness, then I saw Roman soldiera kicking and spitting on a man who was on His knees on the floor. Then I saw them placing the crown of thorns on His head. Then I realized it was the Lord . He was carrying the cross. There were demons swooping down and hitting Him. He fell down, was told to pick the cross up and was led up to the crucifixion place, The sky was a dark red color and as they began to hammer the nails into His hands. As the nails sank deeper he began to transform into a (defenseless) baby (and) left to die. His head fell down as if dead. Then there was great silence and darkness (which) lasted for a while. Then I saw something coming. At 1st it looked like a little cross, but it got bigger and bigger, a shining gold cross. As I viewed this cross, I began to pull away and saw this cross standing alone on a mountain hill. I noticed many other small cross's, millions of them. I had a feeling that these were people whom were truly saved and evil could not touch them. I noticed demons flying around. They went down into this area and sat on the crosses. As soon as they sat, the Angel of the Lord came out like lighting, flying. He was so huge and fast. With His sword out in front of Him, he cut the demons up and then placed the sword in front of him, flying straight toward me. He came so close that I saw His eyes. The cross of the Lord was what I saw in the eyes of the Angel. It was like He flew into my mind.
I was then taken to a place, which I first though was hell, an underground place where a huge dragon sat. There was a big boiling pot full of hot lava and and white cross's. The dragon was stirring it, laughing as the cross's were placed into this water. As I watched this, I was hidden in the Rock. I thought to myself, "This is the devil. Fear gripped me. I wanted to get out of there. I looked straight at this big dragon. It started to breath fire. It opened it’s mouth wide and thousands of (evil)spirits and demons started to come out. I really wanted to get out of there now.
Suddenly I was back on the surface of the earth, which looked like a war had just taken place across the planet. The sky was a dark red color. I could see no signs of life there. I began to look to the sky and was overcome with the feeling of the coming Presence of the Lord. I was shouting, 'He's coming, He's coming.' to myself. Then the sky opened. From the heavens cross's began to fall down to the earth in a spiral motion. They fell fast it created a circle. I began to feel I was about to meet the 12 disciples of the Lord coming down. I could not begin to count how many cross's were falling.
When that stopped I saw a big red carpet being rolled out. As if it was rolling out, 2 great lions of gold were running along the carpet across the earth. I was about to explode with excitement about the Lord coming back.
Then I was taken away. I was in space somewhere, walking on a marble floor. It was a palace of some type with angels standing guard at the corners of the building. These angels were way over 20 feet tall.
Indian demon
As I turned the corner there was a massive Indian type demon there and he was coming after me. I turned to see if the angels would help me but they remained at their posts.
This demon came right for me. It was 10 times my size. I fell down and cried out to the Lord to help. This demonic being breathed fire out, but a cross the size of a house came and acted as a shield for me. The flames were pushed back and the cross moved fast and went through the demon’s chest. The demon dropped down dead. (End of encounter/ vision.)
I sat up from my bed and was so excited and blessed the Lord...
Addicted to God
All I wanted, was to hear His voice. I had become so addicted to the presence I began praying 4-5 hours which felt like nothing, (thirsting) for a taste of what I had been created for. My family would wonder what I would be doing in my room all this time. But during this time I also had demons manifest in my room and try and intimidate me. I would be wide awake and know a demon was in my room. The name of Jesus would always be more than enough (to route him). As I got closer to Him the more the darkness around me seemed real as well.
One time I woke up and there was a man outside my window. He was an Angel. I got so afraid that I hid under the bed covers and prayed, "Jesus I’m not ready to die, save me!" The angel just went away. The Lord trained me to value and love His presence. At times I would pull out of the intensive encounter with the Spirit. The main reason I pulled out, was I never grew accustomed to His presence. There was always a fear of the Lord. Also the intensity of the Presence would always seem to increase. His presence and power was very overwhelming. The Holy Spirit never forced Himself on me.
He would always stop when I even made even a hint of a sound of "No.
There was a cost. Each time I pulled out of the encounter, I would have to wait.
At 1st it would be a few weeks, then when I would pull out again it started to be months.
I felt I was dying, as I needed His Presence. It was all I needed. I had lost all desire for anything in this world had to offer. Girls, money, His presence was everything to me.
Between me and God
These encounters went on for the first 5 years of my Christian walk. During that time I spoke to many people about some of the things but the response I received was more negative than positive. People would say that these things don’t happen now, or tell me I was praying the wrong prayers. Even try to cast demons out of me.
I started to keep anything that happened to me as a personnel thing between me and the Lord, but I did keep a journal of any really awesome encounters. I just thought these encounters happened to all Christians.
The season of Change
My main goal and desire still was the same: to hear the Lord speak and find out what He wanted from me. I had finished my first and national diploma in science at College, so I was already thinking what form of career I was going to pursue.
I was doing work on the side with a good friend from Peter Cripps church. He was a gift from God to me. He had the gift of loving the unlovable, a true man of God. We would work together most days, doing gardening work or anything else that came about. We spent many a day just preaching (porphesying) to one another about our hopes and dreams. His wisdom and character is some thing I will never forget. He and His wife were to play a vital roll in where my life would be heading for the next few years...
I had been attending a really wonderful house church where each week we encountered the presence of the Lord. The leader of the house groups was my mentor also. I was learning more and more about church life and the Bible. My encounters had stopped, since I had pulled out of a very intensive encounter with the Holy Spirit. I knew, when I did I would have to wait for a while for Him to return. I continued my routine of praying and waiting in the late ours of the night. This had gone on now for 3 months, the longest I had to wait for His tangible presence.
I started to fast, but was rebuked by the Lord as I was trying to earn His presence. He did not tell me to fast, I was just striving and doing anything I could to get Him too meet with me...
I had also grown in some of the gifts of the Spirit. I would move in the prophetic pretty well, and spent a lot of time learning to hear the Lord for others. I would be dying, really not having a will to live, because I longed for His presence so greatly. But in meetings I would feel the power of the Holy Spirit, get so drunk and minister to people. Every one would say "You are on fire for the Lord," but I did not feel that way.
I learned very fast that manifestations and moving in the gifts does not necessarily mean you’re close to the Lord.
I began to go through a cold turkey type experience.
I was addicted to His presence and there was nothing I could do to make Him come.
All I could do was be available and be in the right place for Him to speak to me.
It was becoming very hard for me to keep up the prayer routine as it was so silent.
I would wake up at the "Hour of power" and say a few words, and then turn over and try and fall back to sleep.
This went on now for 5 months, I was coming to the end of myself...
Another night it was 2:30am I decided to pray. I was crying about why He would not come to me, I then said some things, more complaining as I lay there again I just kept saying. 'I'm ready, just come.' I then got angry and said, 'Why did Jesus die if not for restoration with me and God?' then I said, 'Oh well, I guess I will be talking to you tomorrow.'
I was still in hope for Him to come.
The golden light
Then out of nowhere a great golden light filled my room. It was so bright I curled up in to a ball with my head trying to hide under the covers. It was like on a summers day. You close your eyes and can see the brightness through your eye lids.
I was thinking, 'I’m really dead now, as (perhaps) I had made the living God angry with me.'
I was telling myself to turn and see this glory, but the other part of me was saying, "Are you kidding, you’re about to become dust." The fear and excitement cannot be described. Then as I lay there, trying not to move or even breathe, or even and think any thoughts. (I had become like a dead man). The Holy spirit started to come over me. The swirling presence like a great wind moving all over me, started to pour into me. I was once again frozen. The warm oil of the Spirit started to pour all over my head and entered by my mouth, ears, nose and eyes. It just enveloped me. The sound begun to get louder and louder. With each level I went through, the louder the sound got, as well as the intensively of His presence filled me.
I was holding on with all I had then…I had made it past the sounds. Once again I found my self on the back of an Angel. He was flying at great speed, He turned and told me, "You’re going to see God."
We flew though the city of Derby, then higher in to the night sky when suddenly I was enveloped in the cloud of Glory that was (back) in my (bed) room. I was having a conversation with the Lord saying, 'If this is really you, I’m going to raise my hands up and feel your Glory.' I raised my hands on the bed, and felt the thick warm presence of the Lord over me. It was incredible.
I opened my eyes and my hands held up. The room was once again dark and it was 3.30am on the clock. I told myself "don’t tell anyone about what had happened as they would be carting me off to the mental hospital" . I was on a high for the rest of the day as I was thinking, 'I'm going to really meet God.' I had house church that night I was so excited I prayed and asked the Lord to speak to me to tell me what was going on. During the meeting no one gave me a word. I was getting ready to run home and have my 'encounter.'
As I was leaving a friend stopped me and said, 'I don’t know what this means, but I saw you standing in the ocean. The waves were getting bigger and bigger until they completely overcame you. You had no control'. I grabbed my friend’s hand a said, 'That is the word of the Lord.'
I was so excited about what was going to happen that night. On the way home I kept saying 'I’m going to meet with God. I’m going to meet with God.'
When I reached home I did not even eat. I ran upstairs and started to pray. As I awoke at the normal time, I did not even pray. I just said, 'OK I’m here, let’s go.' I lay there saying, 'You’re welcome. Just come do whatever you want to.' The presence came. It started to fall on me and felt overwhelming. His liquid presence was pouring into me . My head felt like it was going to explode. The weight that was pouring into me was such that I had never come close to all the other times. I felt my body sinking, like the very breath was begin sucked out by that Presence. The noise in my head was such that nothing can explain it. Once again going to (increasing) levels of sound; each level brought a louder sound. I could not take this. I started to tell myself, "Pull out!" I could not take it, I was fighting myself as this was happening, trying to hold on, thinking it would break, but the presence kept coming and coming until I felt I was about to die there. I started to lose my ability to talk. I got a faint 'No' out of my mouth. As suddenly as He came, He lifted and was gone. As God’s presence moved on, I saying, 'No, please come back.' It was too late. At that moment I realized it might be a long time until I would have another opportunity.

The next day I was involved in some meetings, I was approached by a lady from out of town. She felt she had a word for me. It was a word was about God emptying the well and laying new foundations. Believe it or not I had another 2 people come and give me the same type of word in one day."

Ladies, and their families are being visited regularly by their dead husbands. They are being invited to take the step and join them in paradise. The husbands are holding out their arms to the ladies, telling them about paradise, about the crowns they have been given, and instructing them to take hold of their hands and just come over." God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit does NOT favor one denomination over another, excepting the Jewish religion/race or perhaps the Messianic Jewish religion. His kingdom is a new one that is spiritual (Christian), rather than of the flesh, or a combination of Jewish blood and Christian spirit. Jesus is an Israeli Jew; He is also a Christian.
Hildegard had many visions of a speaking white light and was approved by the pope to continue with her writings. One example of errors - Hildegard contends that God said that "Catholic" infant baptism is OK; that the baptized infant can later lose its salvation if it does not tow the mark. Yes, parents can stand in the gap for their children. Yes, parents can dedicate their children to God. One major problem is the word "Catholic" with a capital C. Other churches have infant baptism/ christening. We found only 1% of her writings to be aligned with the Word of God and the heart of God, let alone relevant/useful in this generation. When God speaks, His Word continues to be relevant in every generation. White lights do speak. However, we always need to test the spirits, according to the requirements of scripture!

Commentary

Seeing heavenly/holy/Godly visions is often just seeing with spiritual eyes (seeing those things invisible to the human eye), like seeing with military night vision goggles, or seeing with a microscope, or seeing with an astronomer's telescope...[Sometimes God gives visions, even when Jesus is not honored/understood/revealed to the recipient. For instance, the American Indians (who worshipped the Great Spirit) had many visions, but seldom understood that at least some of them were from their Messiah, God's Son Jesus Christ]...
Scripture tells us to be sure to test every spirit, to determine if it is of Him or of the evil one....
NIGHT TALK - Sometimes God will talk with us via night thoughts that come to us when we are in bed asleep or half asleep. It is often easier for us to hear and comprehend Him when we are not distracted during the day. So ask Him questions often, EXPECTING Him to reply. Then accept/acknowledge His response and thank Him in the morning.
