TOBIT 12:11-21 NAB (Catholic) "When you, Tobit, and Sarah prayed, it was I (Raphael) who presented and read the record of your prayer before the Glory of the Lord. I did the same thing when you used to bury the dead.
[The New American Bible notes = Raphael is 1of 7 specially designated intercessors who present man's prayers to God. The names of 2 other angels are given in the Bible - Gabriel (Daniel 8:16, Daniel 9:21, Luke 1:19, Luke 1:26, and Michael - Daniel 10:13, Daniel 10:21, Daniel 12:1, Jude 9, Revelation 12:7)]
When you did not hesitate to get up and leave your dinner in order to go and bury the dead, I was sent to put you to the test. At the same time, however, God commissioned me to (bring His) heal(ing to) you and your daughter-in-law Sarah. I am Raphael, 1 of 7 angels who enter and serve before the Glory of the Lord."
Stricken with fear, the 2 men fell to the ground. Raphael said to them, " No need to fear. You are safe. Thank God now and forever. As for me, when I came to you it was not out of any favor on my part, but because it was God's will. Continue to thank Him every day. Praise Him with song. Even though you watched me eat and drink, I did not really do so. What you were seeing was a vision. Now get up from the ground and praise God. Behold, I am about to ascend to Him Who sent me. Write down all these things that have happened to you." When Raphael ascended, they rose to their feet and could no longer see him.

(All theologies and publications which omit Hebrews 1:13 but use Hebrews 1:14 to prove that the spirits of deceased relatives operate to help those on earth, are twisting scripture for personal gain, plus are possibly of demonic origin, as demons impersonate the deceased to gain control of those who do not know scripture or who rely on experience and feelings over relying on the word of God.)

Another Orthodox bishop "was baptizing 4 children in a family, with ages from about 3 or 4 to 9. Hebrews 11:3 The worlds were framed by the (spoken) Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
John 1:1 reminds us that God's spoken Word became Flesh and dwelt among us. So the spoken or spiritual Word of God is alive in the visible Person of Jesus Christ and also in the invisible Holy Spirit (breath of God). Something like water/steam/ice.
Angels are released/empowered to work when we speak God's words/ideas/wants/designs/heart/mind/thoughts/intentions. Therefore when we pray, we need not become a broken record of asking. Instead, we need to accept/take/receive what we have asked for and PRAY (to God) + SPEAK to/TREAT them accordingly, regardless of any evidence to the contrary. This unchains/allows angels to minister to those who are heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14), even though those individuals have not yet been able or willing to receive Christ as savior.
Another lesson learned is that a physical "torn in the side" can be caused by a disciplining angel, rather than a demon. This was true in the Lord's attempt to teach Kathie NOT to complain. Complaining was her "blockage" or "open door" preventing her healing of deafness in one ear.
"The Lord told us that there are many angels who walk in Jerusalem who are dressed like Israeli soldiers."

Regarding "the pope's 'aides-de-camp' Pious XI had a great devotion (recourse) to the guardian angels. 1st to his own, then to the angels whom the knew were in charge of the ecclesiastical positions (dioceses) and territories...In particularly difficult situations, he invoked the guardian angel of his interviewee, asking him to enlighten...and put him (guest/client/ dignitary) at ease" in order to dispel prejudice, reduce obstacles and obtain favor. We get the guardian angels "to intervene to influence the minds and wills of people...Each of us has his guardian angel, and each of us can speak to other people's guardian angels"...to influence the outcome to line up with the perfect will of God. "I ask my angel to come to an agreement with the angel of the other person, so as to influence his attitude." Remember that angels continue to share "in the government of the world."

Angels take instructions from what you say, because they are your messengers. Your messenger has no power to think for you, whatever you say is an order. Angels can destroy the work of your hands, depending on the orders you give them, how well you use your mouth (Ecclesiastes 5:6). As soon as you say it, they pick it up, particularly when you don't doubt it in your heart. Be constantly loaded therefore with right words, so you can invoke supernatural forces. The words you speak are the things that chart a path for your destiny. Whatever you believe and will not speak will never produce."

Angels hearken - listen and act upon - the VOICE of God's Word. We know that the Bible is God's Word. But angels don't hearken just to God's Word, but they hearken to the voice of His Word.
Try this profound experiment: Take your Bible and place it next to your ear. Stop! Listen! What do you hear? NOTHING! Why? Because the Bible does not have a voice unless we give it a voice. In other words, angels act on God's Word that we speak out of our mouths. They listen to us speaking God's Word.
And when we speak God's Word, angels rush to perform it in our lives...
We bind angels when we speak contrary to God's Word, and say things such as,
'Nothing ever works out for me...
Jesus said, "Whoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God" (Luke 12:8, KJV). Jesus declares to the angels what we declare. When we confessed that Jesus was our Lord, Jesus confessed to the angels that He was our Lord. Angels are aware of what we confess here on earth. Jesus echo's our words to the angels, and depending on what we say, they bring to pass our words...
Jesus was tempted by the devil for 40 days, and while being tempted Jesus did only one thing: He spoke the Word of God. He kept saying, "It is written...It is written...It is written." After Jesus kept quoting God's Word, the Bible says, "Then the devil left Him, and angels came and attended Him" (Matthew 4:11).
Do you suppose the reason why the angels came to Jesus was because He kept speaking God's Word? I think so! Angels hearken unto the voice of God's Word. Jesus gave voice to the Word, and angels came to minister to Him. Angels will do the same for you if you will do what Jesus did - and that is speak God's Word...At the beginning of this Psalm (91:9-12) it says...'I will SAY of the Lord.'"
(One word of CAUTION. Some of Tom's ideas on the difference between fallen angels and demons do NOT agree with many other authors' interpretation of scripture. (Spiritual insight = The "prince" of Tyre, as opposed to the "king" of Tyre may be a human type/example of Satan.)

Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them in similar manner gave themselves over to sexual immorality and went after strange flesh, set forth (a consequence) an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

REVELATION 12: 3-4 NKJV Another sign appeared in heaven. Behold, a great, fire red dragon having 7 heads, 10 horns, and 7 diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars (the third of the angels who were aligned to Lucifer) of heaven and threw them to the earth. The dragon (Lucifer/Satan) stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as It was born. She bore a male Child (Jesus Christ) Who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. Her Child (upon the His resurrection from the dead) was caught up to God and His throne.
REVELATION 12:7-9 War broke out in heaven. Michael and his (holy) angels fought with the dragon (Satan). The dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer; so the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast to the earth, and his (bad/evil) angels were cast out with him.

Chapter 17 Warfare in Heavenly Places discusses Lucifer's gossip/attempt to malign God's character/reputation, especially Jesus his competitor/rival.

Many lovely publications are well intentioned but have a faulty foundation/theology.
One such author is Eckersley who, like many, adopts doctrines of demons, often half truths. Remember, Lucifer is an angel of light! Eckersley latches onto Emanuel Swedenborg's idea that angels live in us; the angels who do live in us are fallen angels - demons! She, like Indian Father Joseph Bill, latches onto the idea that some humans have proceeded to the next stage becoming angels. She is aware of holy angelic intervention. She suspects that spiritual DNA is passed on from our ancestors, rather than from God (when we repent of our sins and ask His son Jesus to be our savior).   She fails to notice demonic apparitions, the transmission of sin/demons from ancestors, the human spirit, and the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray that the veil be removed, that God bless her mightily.
