HEALING ANOINTING
Anointing is where God operates in your body to do His
will for other people
- perhaps to heal them, to deliver them or to do a creative miracle.
We are the middle man, the employee or the subcontractor for God.
It is NOT our business. It is God's business and God's work.
If we attempt to steal/covet God's praise, we will be disqualified/replaced.

anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, Who went
about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, for God
was with Him.

everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but
only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to
Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, in Your name
drive out demons, and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them
plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!'"
(Spiritual insight = Satan is a copy cat and a
trickster. Even if he does good it is for selfish reasons. Any
work/healing/miracle/prophecy not done out of love is not a work of God.
Look at the fruit not the magic.)
Matthew 10:1 NIV He called His 12
disciples to Him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to
heal every disease and sickness.
Matthew 10:5-9 NIV These 12 Jesus
sent out with the following instructions, "Do not
go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to
the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message,
'The kingdom of heaven is near. 'Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse
those who have leprosy, drive out demons.
Freely you have received. Freely give."

Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach Good News to the
repentant; He has sent Me to preach release to captives and recovery of sight to

Luke 6:18-19 NIV Who had
come to hear Him and be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil
spirits were cured. The people all tried to touch Him, because power
(virtue/anointing) came out of Him and healed them all.

nothing of Himself.
John 8:28 KJV I do nothing of Myself.
John 14:10 KJV I am in the Father and the Father in
Me. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of Myself; but the
Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.

comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own.

have the anointing that comes from the holy One, and you all have
(spiritual) knowledge (insight/wisdom from the Holy
Spirit/God).

for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you. You do

all things. That anointing is real, not counterfeit. Just as
It (His Holy Spirit, His Anointing, His Power, the Teacher)

miracle-working (high voltage) power in your life, you must present your

Chapter 5 How Spiritual Vagabonds Are Born warns us to look for a
pastor's fruit, because God's judgment is based on fruit and NOT gifts of the
Holy Spirit (speaking in unknown tongues, miracles, healings, prophecy,
pastoral teaching, personal unpublished knowledge, apostles).
If one is not producing fruit, regardless of his gifts, then there is a real
character problem. A pastor may be able to minister God's healing and
still be a captive of personal addictions/flaws/sin/spiritual disobedience.
Bevere in chapter 7 The Sure Foundation
reminds us that both the written
Word of God + the revealed Word/knowledge of God (anointing) need to be
applied/relevant in every decision. When our heart says yes and our head
says no, or vice versa, then we are not in the will of God. Both need to
be in agreement. The choice of a mate, a job, a ministry is not spelled
out in the Bible. Therefore we need to be sure that we have peace about a
choice, before we act.

in order to keep the anointing one must give it away.
A double portion anointing is discussed.

Even the bones of Elisha received a double portion Holy Spirit
anointing from Elijah. Likewise, Jesus anoints us with His Holy Spirit.
We get our double portion from Him. What we do is based on the
merits/power of God's Son and never on our merits. We must NEVER claim the
credit. God said to Chavda, "What they speak will come to pass, because
they will be people who carry My anointing." Chavda says that the Lord Himself
depended on the Holy Spirit anointing in order to do His mighty works. If
such is the case, then it would be the Father Who would have anointed Him.
We know that He did only what He saw His Father doing.

Then his team prayed with the Haitians, who received healing/miracles, including
one person born blind who received sight. Mahesh continues, "The New Testament
pattern for a full ministry mantle is no so much (seminary/theological)
education, as it is impartation and apprenticeship. (Thus to be a
member/understudy/contributor of one operating in God's anointing, is
important.) Mahesh reminds us that we have at our disposal
ALL of God's spiritual benefits, but most of us have a pauper mentality and do
not make ourselves available to God or fail to be immediately obedient when He
speaks to us with first impressions/thoughts/insights.

mantle/anointing.

contemplating Jesus "finished work" we appropriate/receive/believe/confess/trust
that Jesus has already made us holy, that Jesus is already our sanctification.
Additionally, it is a waste of both our and God's time to look for power that we
do not intend to use. If we are impotent/fearful like Peter before
Pentecost, then we are not ready/available to do His work.

Chapter 3 There's Got to Be More "We have free

Benny explains that the Holy Spirit is with us to convict us of sin
before salvation, is in us when we receive Jesus as savior, and is
upon us to operate in power for a reason for a season to do a specific job.
1-power and increase Benny contends that salvation is free upon
repenting and asking, but that the anointing (or power) comes at a personal cost
to us. It is NOT automatic. It is progressive. It is a daily
impartation. It is on a as-needed-basis, too, for ministry. The
anointing is for the destiny/assignment and not for the person. We must

You may NEVER get your anointing back. Saul lost his anointing and
calling. Wigglesworth went into teaching; but he had been called into
healing.

tutoring and praying for impartation/anointing to heal and

to be distracted by or address (speak to/about/discuss)

away. Praise is the key to drawing/attracting His presence. His
presence/attributes contain His power, which will float right back up to heaven,
unless we jealously, like a male in heat, court/guard with adoration/worship.
Coldness or lukewarmness turns God off. Sincere/sweet/tender love
songs/lullabies are what woo Him. A perfect Old Testament illustration
is David's playing the harp and singing psalms to king Saul to ward off the evil
spirits.
1st Samuel 16:14 NIV 14The Spirit of the Lord
had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit (allowed) from
the Lord tormented him. 15Saul's attendants said to him, "See an evil
spirit from God is tormenting you. 16Let our lord command his servants
here to search for someone who can play the harp. He will play when the
evil spirit from God comes upon you, and you will feel better." 17So Saul
said to his attendants, "Find someone who plays well and bring him to me."
18One of the servants answered, "I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who
knows how to play the harp. He is a brave man and a warrior. He
speaks well and is a fine-looking man; and the Lord is with him" 19Then
Saul sent messengers to Jessee and said, "Send to me your son David, who is with
the sheep." 20So Jessee took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine
and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul

saying, "Allow David to remain in my service, for I am pleased with him."
23Whenever the spirit from God came upon Saul, David would take his harp and
play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil
spirit would leave him.
9-Benny contends that God's anointing will be a hedge around us to keep
oppression/depression away.
10-The Glory of God is His Presence/Personality/Visitation, whereas His
Anointing is His Power for service. We can lose His Presence, but not
necessarily His Gifts. The 12 Disciples met His Glory when they were born
again, but obtained His anointing empowerment at Pentecost. Judas Iscariot
did lose His Presence.

Benny explains that we must stay, NOT leave, when we feel His presence, to
receive His power and blessings. His anointing is for service, for Him to
meet another's need through us. It is temporary, so we must immediately,
AFTER fellowshipping with Him, ask Him who He wants to help or go bless someone
nearby.
A man does not walk with a constant anointing. The anointing falls.
It rises up and down like the tide and must be monitored like a newborn infant or
courted/coaxed like a date/fiancée. It will lift if we ignore or do not water it
with praise/adoration/thanksgiving. The longest an anointing lasts is 5
hours, at least in the case of Benny's experience. Before we are saved,
the Holy Spirit is WITH us. After we are born-again the Holy Spirit is IN
us to take us to heaven. When God chooses to use us, His Holy Spirit comes
ON us. The Holy Spirit inside us will both take us to heaven and go to heaven
with us, whereas the Holy Spirit ON us will not (the gifts/anointings of
the Holy Spirit). These workings belong to the Holy Spirit
and NOT to us. It is His work inside us; not our work. God/Holy
Spirit is the boss; we are the subcontractor or employee. It is His
business; not ours. The flesh does the work; the flesh will not go to
heaven.
(On the other hand, Dave Roberson in The Walk of the Spirit
says we will take love to heaven! That is a fruit rather than a
gift of the spirit.)

Oral shared that when God's healing anointing comes, it comes into his right
hand, beginning with his right elbow. Usually he leads the congregation in
a prayer for salvation before he has healing services at the end or and/on the
last day. When he lays hands on the individuals, he does not always know
if they are healed, because often recipients need faith to activate the healing.
When demons are there, Oral knows in his hand, if there are demons, how many
demons, and what their names are. Then he can cast them out. There is
never any power in his left hand, as there was with Branham.

We have 7 covenant promises and 3 anointing promises. The anointings/dimensions/levels
need to be prepared for rather than begged for; they are legally ours if we are
Christians. Level 1 is salvation. At each level there are certain
demons/strongholds which can be routed/ controlled.

Level 2 is warfare/boldness. This priestly anointing is where we
need to fend for ourselves, grow up, not be dependent on others. It is
also where we are under another's spiritual authority. It is an area of 3
testings (faith/surrender/war). Suffering/persecution (perhaps martyrdom)
will come at this and/or at next level.

Additionally, that with His presence at times ALL will be healed/delivered.
Benny recounts Oral Roberts testifying of this happening once 12/1952 (the month
of Hinn's birth) in a Jacksonville, Florida, USA healing service. Peter
walked in the 3rd dimension, evidenced when his shadow healed. Elijah
walked in the 3rd kingly dimension, evidenced by his riding in the chariot.
Nothing is impossible in the 3rd dimension of dominion.

begin when the Holy Spirit will terrorize demons, clean out hospitals, and
retake what the devil has stolen.

COMMENTARY
Let us be reminded that the 9 spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit (healing, teaching, prophecy, tongues, spirit discernment, unlearned knowledge, etc.) are His jobs/work in us, as compared to our non-spiritual work of carpentry, nursing, whatever. However, the fruit of the Holy Spirit is our character - kindness, tenderness, boldness, whatever (that we take to heaven with us. We do NOT take our spiritual gifts to heaven!) Remind ourselves to seek the giver rather than the gift, and to continually observe fruit rather than the gift in others' ministries, so as not to be wooed into deception. Who gets the credit in each ministry, the pastor or his/her God? Even God's elect can be caught off guard! Buy spiritual glasses and wear them continually! When in doubt, don't or at least wait. Is not that what you told your kids?
