Regardless. God is at work in all.

1 door to healing is receiving communion: bread (body of Christ) & wine (blood of Christ) at church.
In The Hidden Power of the Believer's Touch Chavda calls receiving communion one of the keys to healing. Scripture tells us that many become sick & die for taking communion, without first confessing our sins to God: (1st Corinthians 11:27-30) - "Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord (takes communion) in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body & blood of the Lord.
A man ought to examine himself (go to confession) before he eats of the bread & drinks of the cup.
For anyone who eats & drinks without recognizing he body of the Lord eats & drinks judgment on himself.
That is why many among you are weak, sick & (a number) have fallen asleep."

Sanctified visualization and meditation (holy imagination & NOT blank empty minds) can be a valuable tool during communion. For instance, say that you have arthritis in the hip. Then you can picture the slain Lamb of God taking your diseased hip bone and replacing your hip bone with a new 1 from His parts department.
Christ became sin & diseased on the cross. His maladies are those of ours yesterday, today & tomorrow.
The brain can be healed the same way.

Henry Wright's CD Teaching on Health & Disease: Relative to the Sacrament of Communion may be of value. 2 Catholics have had wonderful healings in their ministries incorporating "healing mass for the living" & "Requiem mass for deceased relatives". English psychiatrist Kenneth McAll's A Guide to Healing the Family Tree www.marianland.com, + Father John Hampsch's Healing the Family Tree, & Healing Power of the Eucharist www.claretiantapeministry.org explain that when conventional medicine fails, Doctor Jesus does not.
They teach their congregation to forgive both the living & the deceased relatives & to then take communion, because the blood of Jesus goes backwards down the blood line to remove all curses & forward to give blessings in their own blood line.
They encourage their congregation do a genealogical family tree which is to also include the family sins & diseases. This often reveals inherited curses which need to be confessed, forgiven & put under the blood of Jesus.
Henry Wright www.pleasantvalleychurch.org believes that a lot of our unconfessed sins stem from evil spirits, like pus being the result of infections & illness being the result of inherited diseases. For example, the "spirit" of fear can cause strokes, high blood pressure, stress, anxiety & paranoia. Jesus told us in His traditional Lord's Prayer to forgive others so that our heavenly Father can forgive us. When we forgive others, ourselves & even God, that opens the door for God to begin healing in that area, to lance the area where the pus is.
Often many curses are due to spiritual & psychological issues, even as far back as childhood.
Forgiveness is not about the other person, rather it is about allowing Doctor Jesus to begin His operation on & in our lives & allowing Dr Jesus to start the healing process in our hearts, minds & bodies.
Henry Wright believes that bitterness against dead people can be resolved by forgiving them before God.
The Lord's Prayer says, "Father, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."
The point being that God looks at the heart, our heart.
2nd, if someone else has grudge against us, then that is his problem between him & God.
If we have done all that we can do to remedy any situation in which we are guilty, then the rest is up to God.
God looks at the heart not the sin, per Wright. What about abuse?
If our parent or our mate abused us physically or violated us mentally or spiritually, do we have to honor them? Wright suggests no, we do not have to keep secret their evil deeds when talking to the medical, church, or therapy community which is in place to help us heal.
We can honor them the way we would honor a friend, but not allow our family to abuse us, ever again.
When we go to the altar & forgive, we release the enemy from having to fix the sin, apologize, give us alimony, whatever we expect. We allow the Lord to become our husband and provider.

Often they (clergy) counsel those seeking deliverance to 1st attend the (morning) Eucharist daily for a month & (stay in church) after the Eucharist to spend a half hour adoring Jesus. This weeds out those coming only for relief and unwilling to make a deep commitment to Jesus...Those returning are often free of all spirits, because they have grown closer to Jesus... The evil one will leave easily & for good only when all wounds (invitations/incentives/legal grounds for) inviting him (the evil spirit) back are healed (gone)... Be (not) so concerned about whether or not they have (one has) an evil spirit, but rather (more importantly) whether they are (one is) growing closer to Jesus Christ." (Remember, Jesus counseled the disciples to be joyful that their names were written in heaven, rather than joyful because demons had fled during their ministry to demonized individuals.)

Another intriguing issue is that of a child's inherited disease, where the root cause is the parent's sin. Wright contends that he has seen children instantly healed when the parents acknowledge & confess to God their sin.
1st Corinthians 7:14 says, The unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife & the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean (cursed with problems), but as it is, they are holy (blessed with God's mercy and kindness)..

Henry Wright in his book A More Excellent Way further contends that some are not healed because God looks at the heart instead of the brain. Attitude seems to be a big ticket item with God. Judas was 1 of the chosen disciples, yet he did not ask for forgiveness when he sinned. Saul was chosen, yet he did not ask for forgiveness when he sinned. David was chosen, but he did ask for forgiveness when he sinned. Wright goes on to say that temptation is not a sin. Just because we think something does not make us condemned. According to Wright, an exception would be fantasy lust, where we commit acts in our mind. If we are married this affects our mate.

With mental illness the lines are not so clear. This is when we need to go back to God's heart and trust His love and mercy always remembering that condemnation comes from Satan. Second, we must always remember never to harm oneself or another individual. For instance, if I believe that God wants me to sacrifice a child or kill an individual, I would follow a rule of "When in doubt, do not do it.", or "Thou shall not kill", murder, mercy kill, commit suicide, etc - Perhaps have person diagnosed with mental illness/psychiatric illues sign a contract (or health proxy) to allow temporary intervention when s/he has shared that s/he plans to harm myself or another. (Problematic as some states/nations allow patient to have same day assisted suicide. Often better to intervene spiritually.)

Wright teaches that "Christians" often do not receive healings due to lack of "sanctification", that is daily repentance & growing spiritually in the Lord.
Matthew 6:33 explains this. Seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness;
& all things (items on your wish list) will be added to you.

Finally Wright notes that, as long as "Christians" do not know scripture, they will be defeated by the enemy,
for they will not be able to distinguish between God's thoughts, Satin's thoughts & human thoughts.

Perry Stone contends that we need daily communion, just as Moses and his tribe did when they daily partook of the manna. that fell from heaven into the desert. Remember, for 40 years no one got sick, nor did their shoes or clothes wear out. Stone believes that those who take daily communion will be healed, will keep their healings & be protected as was the Tribe of Moses, from disease, enemies, harm & lack of food or water. www.perrystone.org

Even if one were to label healing of the mind as a psychosomatic cure, speaking positively & in accordance with the will of God would still trigger a spiritual law of cause & effect in the soul, in the spirit & in the invisible spiritual realm, the same way the scientific law of gravity would cause a rock to fall instead of rise on the earth.

There is a wonderful story told by Liardon in John G Lake, The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings www.robertsliardon.org It tells of lepers in South Africa who were healed at communion on Christmas eve.
Now that is no psychosomatic cure. That is the real thing done by a real God.
A God who is not dead, but is alive, today, in this generation.

Another door to healing is appropriating the Blood of Jesus. The old testament church applied the blood of a lamb to forgive sins and the blood of a lamb to prevent death. Jesus Christ came to fulfill the old testament requirements. The lamb of the old testament is a symbol of the Messiah, the Lamb of God. In communion we drink His blood & eat His body. When we speak aloud, "Blood of Jesus", both to ourselves and to Satan, we disarm the enemy & empower the angels to assist us. Whether we drink or apply the blood of the Messiah, we tap into His forgiveness, healing & protection. Joyce Meyer has a music CD on the blood of Jesus.

The front door of Christianity is confession: asking Jesus Christ for & receiving forgiveness of our: (own, family, tribal & national) sins. To be healed or to stay healed one needs to forgive.
(This does not mean that we allow another to harm us.) The Lord's Prayer reads "(Lord) Forgive us our trespasses, as we (also) forgive those who trespass against us."
(Matthew 6:12) - Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins on the cross.
Jesus says He is the door to God and the door to eternal life.
"I (Jesus) am the door: By Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved." (John 10:9 KJV)
Once we have been forgiven of our sins & forgiven others, then we invite Jesus into our heart to live permanently.
He always says yes. One can be a pastor or theologian & have head knowledge, but Jesus does not live in the head, He lives in the heart. Heart knowledge is comparable to marriage consummation, where each mate knows each other in an experiential manner which they did they did not comprehend prior to virginity.
Elly Matz, a holocaust survivor, tells in It Was Worth It All of a priest who had her repeat this prayer, after she had confessed her sins, & before he gave her communion, "Lord Jesus, come into my heart." Then he gave her last rites & told her that when she died she would go to heaven.. Instead of dying she was immediately healed.
What a grand illustration of God acing in communion.

There is another confession, that of saying out loud to ourselves and others that we are a chip off the old shoulder, in other words, a child of God with God like qualities, not the former self, with the enemy's self-defeating character traits of Satan, our former father. When we become a child of God, we become princes & princes with lots of inheritance and lots of power. We are no longer a nobody. We are a somebody - to God.
A family member. Let us, as would any adopted child, begin to identify with our new value.
Let us internalize who we are - in God, lest we sabotage ourselves & others.
As we practice our new walk with God, we will blossom into the son or daughter we already are, for an adopted child is never disinherited nor divorced nor disowned.
As we learn to trust our new Dad, then we will be more able to lay claim to those healings we need so badly. Some of those healings will sneak into our life without our immediate awareness, as we relish our relationship with our new Dad. It is imperative that we read His word daily, so we will recognize all that we are in Him.

There is a 3rd confession, that of always speaking aloud and in our heart those words of God found in scripture. It encompasses NOT speaking those words and thoughts which are from our old nature and from Satan.
Such words are our enemy & will demoralize & defeat us Beware lest we speak gossip, illness, disease & death. Speaking aloud such words glues them to ourselves & blocks God's healing work. We become a danger to ourselves. Cancer, for example, multiplies under such adverse confession. Now we know why the Bible talks about cutting out our tongue. However, please do not do this. It is the mind that gives permission to the mouth. Every muscle needs exercise. We need to exercise the muscle to shut up, when we feel like confessing our weaknesses. Let us instead, when we go to our therapist, confess the good things that are happening in our lives plus the hopes and goals that we have. If our counselor asks a question, we can say yes or no, but we do not need to repeat weekly the woes we have previously shared.

The Door of Positive Thinking and Not Stinking Thinking is profound. God SPOKE the world into existence from nothing, whereas the Devil SPOKE disease & evil into existence by deceit & lies.
(The greatest lie of the Devil is "that there is no Devil".)
(The 2nd greatest lie of the Devil is "that there is no God.") Our SPEAKING positively out loud God's (Scriptural) truth & best goals grows health. Our speaking negatively makes the Devil happy & contributes to disease & death. Don Gossett in What You Say Is What You Get, cites Kenneth Hagin who says that Mark 11:23 is the secret to success in obtaining miracles from God. What is Mark 11:23? It is Jesus Christ saying, "Whoever shall say...& NOT doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he says, shall come to pass.
He shall have whatever he says." The Apostle Paul says to the Philippians, "I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me." Gossett claims, "Now, that's the secret...Instead of saying, 'I can't receive healing.'
Begin to affirm: 'Through Christ Who strengthens me, I can do all things; I can receive healing.
I can be made completely whole through Christ, Who is my strength & healer; by His stripes I am healed.'"

Gossett and Kenyon in The Power of Your Words, contend that Holy Spirit filled Christians are impotent to do God's work, due to "foot in mouth disease". They lack power due to their silence or negative speech.
The implication is that devils, disease & death cannot flee without God speaking to their ears through our mouths. Most of us have that ability to "bite our tongue" before speaking a negative word + the ability to talk when we need to, so let us go for the gold. Our best weapon for health is right in our own mouth, not the doctor's hands, not the priest's hands, our hands. An illustration is depression. Suppose I take meds for that.
As I daily exercise positive confession, regardless of how I feel, my mood improves as I am obedient.
It is imperative that we speak what God speaks in scripture & that we refrain from speaking what our 5 senses dictate. We are not to repeat over & over our fears & doubts, especially not at bedtime...
There are spiritual as well as physical muscles. God is not dead, but asleep inside us.
As we exercise our spiritual muscles, God will begin to wake up in our lives. Practice, practice, practice. Practice speaking God's word not our own word. This is not a mind game. It is allowing God to grow us up.
We all have weak knees. Let us be patient, both with God and ourselves.

Water baptism in the Name of Jesus & baptism in the Holy Spirit are doors to healing.
Acts 19:2-6 explains: "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard there is a Holy Spirit." So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?" "John's baptism," they replied. Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the One coming after him, that is, in Jesus." On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
When Paul placed his hands on them the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues & prophesied.
Smith Wigglesworth contends that baptism in the Holy Spirit is a must for every human who wants to live a disease free life. Mahesh Chavda in The Hidden Power of the Believer's Touch blesses us with a story of an insane woman who became well after going swimming near a group of people who were being baptized in the Congo River, for the Lord did not pass her by.

R Liardon in John G Lake, The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings www.robertsliardon.org shares a wonderful story of Lake's first deliverance (immediately after God had baptized John G Lake as the early disciples had received it & after God had told Lake that he would cast out demons). A grain elevator manager became insane while attending a religious service & was committed to an asylum. 2.5 years later that same man was brought by a hospital staff attendant & delivered by God during Lake's service. Not only that, the man got his old job back as manager. Awesome. Lake went on to say that at that time he had seen God deliver over 100 mentally ill people. Now that was around 1898. Oh that more people then & more people now would be aware that God is still healing the incurable.

During a June 2003 television broadcast, Binny Hinn www.bennyhinn.com told how (jewelry) a snake ring contained demonic power, but when removed the young lady was set free from male voices and violent energy.
He also told how his own father was prevented from coming to God, until he burned 1 of his dad's hidden books. The ring would not come off, nor would the book burn until the Name of Jesus was applied. As the book burned, voices came out of the book. That is a glimpse into the real world of demons, who can inhabit inanimate things & molest the owners of such ungodly possessions. There is a breath taking autobiography of Lake & his congregation who together with God cured an insane woman miles away in an institution.

"I have told you in this congregation on another occasion of how a friend of mine arose one Sunday morning in our tabernacle & presented a request for prayer with many tears saying, 'I have been a member of this congregation for 4 years. This morning I am convicted of God that I have never even presented a request for prayer for a cousin of mine, who is in an insane asylum in Whales.' Something about the man's spirit touched my own heart.

Then I became conscious that I was at Cape Town, South Africa, 1,000 miles from Johannesburg... I remember the Cape Verde Lighthouse on the coast of Spain. I remember...passing the shores of France. I entered the hills of Wales (I had never been in Wales), but as I went over those hills...I came to a little village...Outstanding was a building that I recognized as the asylum.
I went into that place, walked straight into the room where a woman was strapped to the sides of a cot & as consciously as I stand here now I put my hands on the woman's head & in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ rebuked the insane spirit that possessed her & cast it out. Her face became calk.
She smiled up into my face. I recognized in the look of her eyes the awakened consciousness.
All the time I had been kneeling on the platform at Johannesburg, my heart & voice had been expressing my desire to God...
Throughout the word of God we read many times this expression, 'The Spirit of the Lord caught away Elijah, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Elisha, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Jeremiah.' or Amos or 1 of the other prophets. Now that doesn't mean that their physical body was transported to another place in all instances, though in some I believe it does. But it does mean that the inner man, the conscious spirit man, was transported for the time being to another place. He saw & performed acts there.
As quickly as a letter could come from Wales, my friend received a letter saying, 'A strange thing has happened. Our cousin who has been in the asylum was suddenly and instantly healed on the last Lord's day & she is well.'
Beloved, I was there. I could tell you to this hour of the old-fashioned brass that was on the door and the pattern of that old Welsh knocker on the door. There was not a detail of the room that I did not see. There was not a detail of the trip from Africa to Wales that I was not as conscious of as I was at a later time when I came via that route on purpose, to prove whether or not it were a fact...
My person and being was in the attitude of prayer on the platform at Johannesburg, but I was conscious. And the woman was conscious that out from by being something went that carried my consciousness with it, and I consciously performed acts and witnessed scenes that in the natural were impossible. What was it that was transported or projected, for the time being, from my person, but the spiritual entity, the real me, self, or ego in such a degree that it was able to bring back to me all the consciousness that it possessed.
My thought of the Christ is exactly that thing. All through the Word of God we see this.
The visible manifestation of God as He appeared to man at different times was in the form of Christ."
[Yes, this true story is just another resurrection miracle. Praise to God. What inspiration for the mentally ill.]

Exciting emphasis is now being put on the fact that BY CHRIST'S STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
Isaiah says in the Bible's Old Testament (Isaiah, Chapter 53, New International Version) "by His wounds we are healed". Likewise, in the New testament of the Bible (I Peter, Chapter 2) Peter says, "by His wounds you have been healed." (Jesus' apostle Peter is the rock on which the Catholic Church is said to be founded.)
Based on the testimony of Isaiah (a Jew) and the testimony of Peter:
CHRIST PROCURED OUR HEALING "BEFORE WE WERE BORN".

All we need to do is take our healing. This is called the door of appropriation. Think of this as money in the bank. If God put money in the bank with our name on the account, then all we need to do is write a check.
The money will not jump into our wallet until we acknowledge that the money (+ the interest) is there & act upon that fact.
Don Gosset in What You Say is What You Get states that "God cannot lie; we know we can believe anything God says in His Word. If it is in God's Word, we can know it's true. That is why Jesus said, 'If you abide in Me, & My words abide in you, ask what you will, and it shall be done.' (John 15:7 TEV) What a promise.
It's like a blank check on the bank of heaven." God gave us the medicine to cure us 2000 years ago.
All we need to do is to take the medicine. The brand name of the medicine is Jesus Christ.

Henry Wright in A More Excellent Way, says "I teach something called appropriation of what was done at the cross. It's the only thing that makes any sense. It's called appropriation & was granted when Christ died.
He died for all the sins of the world. Did He do that? Did He pay for all sins once & for all? Is everyone saved? But it was finished. If it was finished, then why isn't everyone saved? God saved His own Son's victory until 3 days after the suffering & trial of Jesus Christ. God allows many to go through a baptism of fire for our purification, testing & subsequent great use. There is a saying, 'No Pain, No Gain.' An unrefined diamond is not beautiful. Suffering can be a gift from God for those He knows have great value for mankind. There is no better school than the school of hard knocks. Even for Christ, suffering produced forgiveness for sins (past, present & future), plus the death of death for those who believe in the resurrection of the body, & death of disease (yes even now in the present). While we (who are ill) and we (who love those who are ill) wait & suffer, we learn lessons we would never have had the opportunity to learn.

A man came up to me who had a severe liver dysfunction & bile was backing up into his body.
He was grey, bloated & greasy looking. While on stage I started to command his ancient gates to open.
I saw a vision of an ancient gate opening from the floor up.
When I told him his eyes got as wide as saucers, then he said he saw the same thing.
He was a new believer that had never seen a vision before, but by the next day he had lost 16 pounds.

On page 96, Joyce shows the importance of persistent Scripture quoting: "There was a man who was sick & who was confessing the Word over his body, quoting healing Scriptures & believing for his healing to manifest.
While doing so, he was intermittently attacked with thoughts of doubt. After he had gone through a hard time & was beginning to get discouraged, God opened his eyes to the spirit world. This is what he saw: a demon speaking lies to him, telling him that he was not going to get healed & that confessing the Word was not going to work.
But he also saw that each time he confessed the Word, light would come out of his mouth like a sword.
The demon would cower & fall backward. As God showed him this vision, the man then understood why it was so important to keep speaking the Word. He saw that he did have faith, which is why the demon was attacking him with doubt. Doubt is not something God puts in us. The Bible says that God gives every man a...measure of faith (Romans 12:3KJV). God has placed faith in our heart, but the devil tries to negate our faith by attacking us with doubt. Doubt comes in the form of thoughts that are in opposition to the Word of God. This is why it is so important for us to know the Word of God. God often gives us spiritual understanding for "invisible" warfare. In the Bible (2 Kings 6: 16-17)
God opened the spiritual eyes of a servant: "'Don't be afraid,' Elisha told him, 'for our army is bigger than theirs.' Then Elisha prayed, 'Lord, open his eyes & let him see.' The Lord opened the young man's eyes so that he could see horses of fire & chariots of fire everywhere upon the mountain.'"

Another area that Joyce stresses is the area of human nature where it is easier & more comfortable to take care of "me". Nobody is going to tell me what to do, attitude. Often when the Holy Spirit is mentoring us, He will nudge us to obey our superiors or signs. When our boss or our mate orders us to do something, do we pout, grimace, scowl, talk back or do we smile without an inward grumble? Do we park in handicapped spaces, throw or drop trash on the ground and not in the garbage barrel, drop cigarette buts anywhere except in ash tray containers, keep lights on in hotel rooms, etc? The voice of the Holy Spirit is usually silent, but those who have asked Jesus to come into their heart can recognize His voice. Usually we do not want to listen. We are too busy.
We are too important. It is too inconvenient. When we are not too busy & not too important for God, then He will be able to fine tune the violin or piano that we are so that we can begin to make music for Him that sounds like an instrument rather than a pan and pot in the kitchen.

Sometimes infirmity is due to inherited disease, the underlining cause being demonic activity.

Have you ever noticed the type of faith that they possessed when they came in contact with devils & with sickness? When they saw the man who was at the beautiful gate of the temple, they did NOT start to cry in sorrow & then lead him off to some place to intercede for God to have mercy upon him & bring healing to his body.
To me they acted as if they knew the mind of the Lord in the matter. To me they acted like men who had come from direct contact with God in the power house of the upper room & they were sure that God Himself had power over sickness. It was NOT intercession. It was faith. They did NOT claim that it was done by their power.
They certainly acted like men who believed that Jesus had already done it. Using the name that is above every name they simply told (bolding is my emphasis) him to get up & walk. That is just what the man did.
In plain words the thing that impresses me when I read the account (& the same truth is impressed upon me when I read every account of divine healing subsequent to the ascension of Jesus) is that they acted as if they believed & knew that healing was in the atonement (bolding is my emphasis).

Dr. Price' s Chapter 16, What Is Divine Healing?, section Healing is Your Inheritance, reminds Christians & Messianic Jews: "The 1st thing that I want to emphasize is the fact that as children of the Lord, you have a right to claim divine healing as your inheritance.
If a rich man died and left you some property, both in money & real estate, you would not hesitate to come forth & claim what belongs to you. You would get in touch with the administrator. You would be careful not to lose contact with the executor. Your would not go forth with the spirit of 1 who is petitioning & begging for the portion of odds that that been left to you, but you would march forward boldly in faith to claim what was your portion.
The question of whether you deserved it or not would not enter into the matter at all. As a matter of fact an inherited property is very seldom deserved. When it comes to the question of divine healing, however, if we with unprejudiced minds would read the Word of God, we cannot arrive at any other conclusion but that the Lord left divine healing to His church in His last will & testament. He earned it, He purchased & paid for it & told His church they could have it. He sent the Holy Spirit to become the administrator.
It is our privilege to carefully read the will & be persuaded in our own minds that it is our inheritance, & then get in contact with the Divine administrator of the testament & ask aid in the reception & 'appropriation' of our inheritance. This fact must be clearly understood & this truth must be comprehended before we can become the possessors of the things our Lord has purchased.
It is the lack of recognition of this truth that lies behind the fact that so many Christians are sick & weak these days. If we doubt the fact that divine healing is our inheritance, then faith loses its power of appropriation & we stand helpless in the clutches of sickness & disease.
If what I say is true then it must necessarily follow that healing is for all of God's children.
That is what I most emphatically declare. It is a tremendous hindrance to the faith of the Christian, when uncertainty crowds to the forefront of the mind. We begin to doubt whether or not it is God's will to heal at all.
We are persuaded that it is the will of the Lord to heal some. We praise the Lord when we hear the testimony of the deliverance of others but it is difficult for us to believe that it is the will of the Lord to heal us.
When it becomes a personal matter, doubt commences to rise & the conflict is on between faith & reason.
Every sufferer, who turns to the Lord for deliverance, must 1st become convinced that it is God's will to heal him. Unless you arrive at that conclusion, it is impossible for you to exercise faith.
Not a sinner could ever be saved who knelt at the altar & doubted the will of the Lord regarding the salvation of his soul. He writes the pardon on my heart the moment I believe.
Faith begins to grow in the garden of the heart when we know we are in the will of the Lord."

An awesome concept is that God has given us the power of attorney for Jesus Christ.
As lay people, we have the legal right with the full authority to speak or to act on behalf of the Name of Jesus Christ & heal the sick. This is explained in The Wonderful Name of Jesus by E W Kenyon, who states, "for the healing of a sick one...we take Jesus' place & use Jesus' Name just as though Jesus Himself were here.
The only difference is that, instead of Jesus doing it, we are doing it for Him; we are doing it at His command.
He has given to us the same authority He had when He was here, & the believer's position in Christ gives him the same standing with the Father that Christ had when He was here." (see: www.kenyons.org)

As a child of God one has the privileges & responsibilities of a son. As a brother or sister of Jesus, one shares in the family inheritance & the present spiritual powers. These powers are not personally owned nor are they even human powers but God's power, including the power to heal & be healed. Jesus is here, & though we cannot see Him, He is working through the power of His Name & Holy Spirit, because Jesus is not dead. He rose from the dead to give us heavenly power, but most of all to give us a relationship with Himself, for He desires us as a groom desires a bride. Satan says, "Bull." Jesus says He loves us. Gratitude

A frequent door missed by many is the attitude of gratitude, so much so that we tithe at least 10% of our time, money and talent to the Lord for the benefit of others. Malachi 4:8-11 admonishes us:
"You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me; even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in My house. Prove Me now, says the Lord of hosts & see if I will open the window of heaven & pour out a blessing that, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes & he shall not destroy."

DAVID: Sid, it was 1 of the 2 most significant visions in my life.
Literally, I saw a picture of a man going through the thin barrier, almost like paper.
But as the man went through the barrier, I knew it wasn't me, but it represents all believers.
God said to me, "You're on the threshold of a spiritual breakthrough coming into a move of My spirit unlike anything the world has ever seen. More: signs, wonders, miracles than you can even imagine...
But I can't use you yet."
SID: "2 weeks later, God spoke to you again."
DAVID: He did. I was sharing the vision about spiritual breakthrough...As soon as I said to the congregation, I said, "The spiritual barrier is about to be broken," God said, "That's not what I said...The barrier is not spiritual...You're on the threshold of a spiritual breakthrough, but a spiritual barrier is already broken. The veil is rent (by Yeshua). You've got free access to My throne...The...breakthrough, barrier is intellectual...
The problem is you're thinking too much like people, not enough like Me."
DAVID: 2 weeks after God gave me the vision about the spiritual breakthrough...
He said to me, "You're thinking too much like people"...
Then in 1998, literally God gave me...keys to the operating in the supernatural. Then I really discovered how it works. A few months later, I was in Rwanda doing a pastors conference with 250 pastors, all of which were involved from a negative side. They had loved ones that were massacred in the genocide in Rwanda in 1994.
God said, "Go there for a week. Minister to them...
Do not cover the gifts of the spirit, the operation of the Holy Spirit"...
All these guys were not spirit-filled. But the very last meeting God said to me...after a whole week of speaking about love & the things of God, right in the middle of a sentence, God said, "Stop."
It had to the longest moment of my life. It probably wasn't more than a minute. But when you have 500 eyeballs looking at you & interpreter comes up & says, "What's the problem here?" That minute is a long time, but right in the middle of that moment the Holy Spirit fell onto these 250 pastors. They all got baptized with the Holy Ghost.
They started speaking in tongues.
DAVID: Key #1 is sensitivity...to the voice of God. #2 would be obedience to do whatever He says.
#3. the key...of humility...The Bible says, "He resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
Grace as I see it is God's ability to do for us what we can't do for ourselves.
DAVID: In 1982, serving in the church, on the platform...literally, the ceiling disappeared. The roof. There was an open vision. I didn't know it was a vision at 1st. I thought a tornado came. But I'm looking up at the blue sky.
But there in the blue sky...I received the sovereign vision, a sphere of light with beams of light touching just a handful of people in the congregation. I said, "God, what are you showing me?" He said, "I'm ministering to those that are ministering to Me, those that are worshiping Me in spirit & truth, & literally those that are walking in humility. These people...recognize their need for Me. They're not living in self-sufficiency. They're walking in obedience of My word. They're humbling themselves & they know they need Me."
In a 2nd vision, I saw a battery with 2 posts, a positive & a negative. When you touch a positive wire to a negative wire there's an unseen force. This is the key thing that He was showing me. The beam is an unseen force. We can't see it, but we're connected to God by this unseen field of energy of sorts. The 2nd vision was, again, unseen energy of electricity. When you connect a positive to a negative there's sparks. There's heat.
There's a transfer of power.
God said to me, "I am representative of the positive side & those that walk in humility are the negative."
He showed me another picture...with positive and negative, of magnets, again, unseen field of energy, magnetism. Again, put 2 positives together, in this case they repel. 2 negatives, they repel, but 2 opposites (positive + negative) they're attracted and they're held together by the unseen force.
God said to me, "That's how my spirit works. When you walk in negative...behavior or...mindset (you repel Me), but (when)...you live a life that (shows) you need Me, you're worshiping (attracting) Me (like a magnet), for every breath that you have, you're the negative (charge, whereas I am the positive current)."
DAVID: This was one of the key things He showed me, is that we need to have that respect and recognition.
His word is absolute truth & we need to live according to it. So if He says, meditate on the Word day & night, that's not a suggestion, that is a commandment.
DAVID: God said to me, Sid, we're coming into a short season of blessing and prosperity.
But those that are going to enjoy it the most are what you would call normal, red hot for God. Those people that are pressing in, they're living the life God wants them to live, they're going to hear God in a more clear way.
DAVID: He...said to me, "This connection is there for everybody. But those people that are dying to themselves, living for me, walking in holiness, I'm increasing their bandwidth." It's like when the computers came out 25 years ago, you know, we can do data message and do texts. But now we have high bandwidth. We’ve actually got streaming video. It's like right now God is opening the windows to Heaven. For those people that are pressing in, there's an increased bandwidth & they're literally receiving and going to receive so much more high definition video from Heaven like Branham did. Branham who did, I heard it said in his life time, in his miracle ministry like in the late '40s and '50s, more miracles in his ministry than all the other great healing revivals together.
SID: Whatever God is doing...has nothing to do with us. It has to do with the fact:
(1) we chose to make God, our God, (2) to believe in Jesus,
(3) to repent of our sins, (4) believe his blood washed away our sins,
(5) believe that God remembers our sins no more &
(6) believe that Jesus lives inside of me, inside of you...
Pray that prayer (or rededicate yourself) right now and mean it.
Have it count for eternity & start doing the destiny that God has called you to.

I felt a lifting; it was in my mind's eye a slimy stocking mask. I don't know how else to explain it: like a burglar would wear in a stick-up, a slimy stocking mask; its name was "Shame". While I was watching, it lift off me in my mind's eye.
(After) I felt the lightness of it's (absence). The shame literally had (been/become)
the open door of self-hatred in my life. I didn't know it was there. That was something that I had as a kid.
DENNIS: The 1st step to self-deliverance is starting from the spirit. Everyone knows,
even forgiveness. I watch people struggle with forgiveness and they say, Matthew 18,
but Matthew 18 says, (forgive) "from the heart". I watch people give forgiveness (via) pray-after-me prayers.
But if they want to get deliverance, they've got to start in the belly. When they realize that Jesus is the forgiver, He's the deliverer...the healer (Who)wants to rise up. So the 1st step is knowing that you start from the inside.
When you close the door on the inside, then anything that's influencing from the outside has no (legal) ground.

Release...the offending people, events (& then) all the house of cards that the enemy has erected falls to the ground.
Allow the Holy Spirit to show where (the initial) offense came in...Release (give/hand) it (&) all (judgment) to the Lord. (Forgive him/her/them & repent for un-forgiveness, in order to receive your own) freedom (from captivity/problems)."
PRAYER: "Lord, I am not the judge; You are the only true & righteous judge...
I give (release to) You all these people...events & all these emotions."
After the prayer of forgiveness, in Jesus' name, "command all attached (evil) spirits to leave.
Then pray (in Jesus' name) that the Father's love fill the void."
(NEVER take back what you have released to the Lord!)
"Continue to give up to the Lord all those (recurring/repeat) thoughts & emotions related to those past events.
The devil will try to get you to embrace offense again."
(RESIST those negative thoughts & emotions in Jesus' name & the devil must flee. Replace negative thoughts/emotions with holy/good thoughts (especially scripture) &/or replace with holy deeds (such as telling others about Jesus).

"Suddenly, about 5.5 years after his conversion, he felt like the presence of the Lord was withdrawing from him.
He began to hear a voice telling him that he 'had denied the Lord' & accusing him of many other things.
His whole live started a vicious down hill course. He began to have trouble praying & reading his Bible.
He continually had thoughts accusing him of denying the Lord, although he knew of no specific instance where he had done so. He started having trouble at work & eventually lost his job...
He was being destroyed. Sound familiar? For some of you reading this, Steve’s story will sound very familiar to what’s going on in your own life. What in the world is happening in Steve’s life? Ghosts from the past.
You have heard that saying, 'Ghosts from the past will come back to haunt you.'
What the saying means literally, is that things you have been involved in, in the past, will eventually bring difficult problems into your present.
This is exactly what is happening in Steve’s life, and in the lives of so many other (born-again) Christians.
You see, the sins Steve committed (before salvation) allowed many demon spirits to come into his life.
The whole series of problems, including the rebellion & sexual immorality started at an early age when he was sexually molested.
The sexual molestation brought demon spirits into his life which started all the trouble.
As he entered his teen years, they rose up with great power & influenced everything he did, trying to destroy him.
They worked through him to destroy his relationship with his parents, & eventually nearly killed him...
Each fall into...sin...allow more spirits to enter his life, hastening his down-ward spiral into destruction.
BUT, God in His infinite mercy put His hand on Steve’s life; Jesus appeared to him to give him one last chance.
Steve accepted & his whole life was changed. However, unfortunately, Steve was never taught that he needed to cleanse his life (to repent of specific sins + to cancel & evict personal &/or inherited strongholds/curses/ demons).
He simply prayed the 'Sinner’s Prayer' asking Jesus to come into his life & to forgive all his sins.
He never once thought that he needed to do anything else.
This is a great error (shortcoming/half-truth) in teaching in the Body of Christ today.
You see, when a person such a Steve prays that 'Sinner’s Prayer,' in that instant of time God performs a purely supernatural act in his life.
Before praying that prayer, the person is a sinner separated from God (& His spiritual family/blood-line).
After praying the prayer, God places him under the covering of the blood of Jesus & he becomes a son of God by adoption. The Holy Spirit enters into his life & he becomes a 'new creation in Christ.'
This was manifested by the complete change in Steve’s life. BUT, his past sins were never dealt with. The demon spirits that entered into his life through those sins were never kicked out (bound & evicted, in Jesus' name).
They simply went into hiding (dormancy/vacation).
However, God knew they were there, & so did Satan. Eventually, as happens in every case, Satan went before God & petitioned to destroy Steve. He said something like this: 'God, You see your servant Steve?
He has never cleansed (uprooted the weeds in) his life as your Word commands. My demons are still in his life. Now I am petitioning you to allow my demons to rise up and destroy Steve.' Because God is a just judge, He will have to grant Satan’s petition. But God does not simply abandon Steve to the demonic attacks.
(That’s why some of you are reading this, God has not abandoned you either.)
In time, God brought Steve...to the point where he recognizes his need to cleanse his life.
God cannot fulfill all He wants in Steve’s life as long as he has defilement in his temple.
'Do you not know that you are the temple of God & that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.' 1 Cor. 3:1617
As soon as Satan petitioned God, the demon spirits in Steve’s life began to rise up.
As they did, the Holy Spirit backed down. Steve became aware of the loss of God’s presence in his life. Prayer & Bible reading became difficult to the point where Steve nearly stopped both. As the demons exerted more & more influence in Steve’s life, they created difficulties for him at work to the point where he finally lost his job.
Not only did they work directly through Steve’s mouth, causing him to say & do things to offend others. They also worked directly against others. Demons in a person can give others around them a sense of revulsion every time they are in the person’s presence. This will cause them to withdraw & not want anything to do with that person.
Neither the person with the demons, or the others around will ever recognize that what is happening is a direct result of the presence of demon spirits. That’s the problem.

Ephesians 6 tells us clearly that our battle is against the unseen spirit realm. However, these unseen spirits can, from the outside of us, affect us with all sorts of (oppressive) emotions & thoughts. That’s what happened to Steve. Even on those occasions when he did not say or do anything to offend those around him, the demons still afflicted those people with feelings & thoughts against Steve, thus causing him to lose his friendships. The same thing happened when he went for job interviews. The demons were right there affecting the person doing the interview to make him think negatively about Steve. Then as a final punch, often the demons would influence Steve to say something which would finalize the loss of the possible job.
These spirits were busy directly in Steve as well. They continually put all sorts of accusatory thoughts into his mind to try to drive him away from God. He became discouraged and decided that it was impossible for him to please God. Stronger and stronger (obsessive-compulsive) thoughts came to him...These spirits also hindered him from eating...to the point where he was losing his health. All in all, the demons were destroying Steve on every level. Physically, in all his relationships, financially, and most importantly, in his relationship with God.
Praise God! Jesus provided the solution for all of Steve’s problems on the cross more than 2,000 years ago. Unfortunately, Steve had not been taught about the fullness of Christ’s provision for him. That’s why God’s Word sadly proclaims: 'My people are destroyed (esp. with emotional & physical maladies) for lack of knowledge.'
Hosea 4:6 God’s word is plain. It is our responsibility to cleanse our lives. Jesus made the provision on the cross so that we could do this, but we must do the cleansing! Steve could have avoided all these difficulties if he had only known to follow God’s Word. 'Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh & spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.' 2 Cor. 7:1
O.K...How? 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our (personal & family un-repented) sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' 1 John 1:9...Simply asking the Lord to 'forgive all my sins' is NOT a (full) confession because it does not name the specific sins. Steve had never taken the time to confess his sins.
He fell into the trap of simply asking the Lord to 'forgive all my sins.' Therefore, the demon spirits that came into his life through those sins never had to leave because Steve had never cleansed himself from those sins.
This is why, in almost every recorded instance of people accepting Christ in the books of Acts, they were instructed to 'repent' for their sins. Repentance involves a process...&...means that you review your past life & specifically confess...specific sins, not just a blanket statement.
...Charles Finney had this to say...'General confessions of sin will never do.
Your sins were committed 1 by 1, & as best as you can they should be reviewed & repented of 1 at a time.' (Lectures On Revival, by Charles Finney, Bethany House Publishers, 1988, pp. 3031)
Once you have been cleansed from a (named) sin (with a named person), the spirits that came into your life through that sin no longer have any legal right to stay in your life.
You can then simply command them to leave in the name of Jesus, & they must go.
However, if we do not go through this cleansing process, then any spirits that came into our lives through sins, have the legal right to stay. They may remain dormant for years after our conversion to Jesus, but eventually they will rise up & bring havoc and destruction into our (or our grandchildren's) lives.
Not all sins allow spirits to enter our lives, but many of them do.
The 3 general areas of sins that bring demonic defilement into our lives are: inheritance, sexual sins, & any involvement in the occult or the worship of other gods. I call these sins 'doorways.'
...Make haste to cleanse your life! Once you have done this, then you can take your case into God’s courtroom & ask the Lord to render judgment between you & Satan & bring a halt to this process of destruction.
You need to deal as best you can will all the (individual un-repented personal &/or family) sins in your life, but start with those that allowed spirits to enter. You can do this in 4 simple steps:
1. Name the sin. Sit down & write up a list of every sin that you (or your ancestors) have committed (& failed to confess to God or failed to discontinue) that falls into these categories.
Ask Holy Spirit to bring them to your memory.
2. Repent and Confess the Sins. Set aside a block of time when you can do this...
Pray through each one of you sins individually...Cross each one off of your list as you deal with it, so that you will know which 1 you have confessed, & which one you haven’t.
3. After confessing each sin, then command all demons that came into your life through that sin to get out at once & forever in the name of Jesus. This is not a prayer, it is a command.
Open your mouth & speak out loud. This is how we interact with the unseen spirit realm. Speak like this:
'In the name of Jesus Christ, I take authority over every demon that came into my
life through my sin of __________ (with _____________ ).
I command you to get out of my life right now and forever in the name of Jesus!
You don’t have to know the names of the demons, you don’t have to know how many.
All you have to do is command them out by the sin (or nature) that allowed them to come in. God will take care of the rest. Luke 10:19 and Mark 16:17 gives us our authority over these spirits in the name of Jesus.
4. Accept in faith that they are gone! Stop sinning & saturate your life with God’s word, prayer & praise.
God always performs His Word. His Word says that if you will confess a sins, He will cleanse you. His Word says that if you command a demon to leave, it has to go. It’s just that simple. Be thorough & methodical.
Your life will change is you will just do these simple 4 steps...Take a few minutes & read through the list.
You may be surprised at what has been in your own life in the past that you have never dealt with.
Before you read, please join me in this prayer:
'Dear Lord Jesus, when You were here on earth You promised to send Holy Spirit to us.
You told us that 1 of His jobs was to convict us of our sins. Now, blessed Holy Spirit, as I read through this list, I am humbly asking You to convict me of any (un-confessed) sins I have committed, that I have never dealt with.
Please bring them to my memory (when I am able with Your help to deal with them).
I ask & thank You for this, in the name of Jesus'...
Below is a list of all the most common doorways that allow demons to enter a person’s life:
Sexual Doorways - List #1 - List, by name, every person with whom you have sinned sexually (including those who have sinned against you). If you cannot remember the name, write down the incident.
Also list any other sinful sexual activities, such as pornography, sex with the same sex, etc.
Also list if you have been sexually molested and by whom, if you have been raped, if you have participated in a sexual ritual of any sort. List each ritual separately.
Occult Doorways - List #2 - List every incident of any involvement in the occult or any thing that blanks out your mind. (Many good cited) Examples:
∙ Drunkenness ∙ Street drugs – list each type ∙ Abortion (which is really human sacrifice to the god of self)∙
Inheritance Doorways - List #3 - Deal with (family blood-line + tribal/territorial inheritance, such as genocide due to war or abortion). To the best of your ability, list the (un-dealt with) sins (iniquities/curses/diseases/maladies) of your forefathers, especially if they were involved in the occult or any religion other than Christianity. Also, if they were involved in any secret organization. All secret organizations involve oaths taken by the members binding their offspring to loyalty to these organizations...
Doorways For (above or) Other Specific (personal or inherited Sins not yet - apologized for and placed under the blood of Jesus): (such sins as those listed in Deuteronomy 28 http://www.biblestudytools.com/deuteronomy/28.html )
Go through your (sin) list (and repent of) one by one (that you have NOT already confessed).
Cross out each one as you finish with it so you won’t get mixed up or lose track of where you are on the list.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus I ask you to forgive me for my sin of ___________.
I acknowledge this as being sin & repent for it. Please cleanse me from it. I thank you for it, in the name of Jesus (Your son).
Command: In the name of Jesus Christ, I take authority over every demon spirit that came into my life (mate/offspring/family) through my sin of ___________.
I command you to get out right now & forever in the name of Jesus. (I enlist, in Jesus' name, holy angels to close & seal all evil doors & to open all doors to Your holy blessings the opposite of the sin now covered with the blood of Christ. Thank You, Lord. Amen.)
Conclusion: When you have prayed through your list and cleansed your life, you need to pray in your own words & thank the Lord for His wonderful work of cleansing you. Ask Him to fill you completely with the Holy Sprit.
Keep short accounts with God. If you sin, deal with it immediately. If you forget something & then remember it later, no problem. Simply deal with the sin immediately in the same way. If you wonder if something is a doorway or not, I have a little saying: 'If in doubt, cast it out.' You won’t be hurting anything.
Saturate your life with God’s Word, prayer, praise & worship. Your life will change."
